The Legendary Nike SB Dunk Low Denim Is Releasing As A High

Like a few of the most legendary Nike SB Dunk colorway of all time, the “Denim” colorway from 2002 is coming back with a reversed height. One of the earliest colorways to get the Dunk hype train moving in the early 2000’s along with the elephant print Supreme Dunks, the original “Denim” version was designed by then Nike SB rider Reese Forbes in low-top form, but now it’s on the way back as a high. As you can see, all the original details are there, including two shades of blue denim with frayed edges and a red outsole, making for what should surely be one of the most sought-after Nike SB releases of the year. The “Denim” Dunk High is rumored to be a summer 2017 release, so stick with Sneaker News for an exact release date as soon as it’s unveiled.

Nike Just Released Dennis Rodmans Air Shake NDestrukt

Dennis Rodman‘s game was anything but flashy. The rebounding genius instead let his dyed hair and tattoos do most of the talking when he helped the Chicago Bulls reach their second three-peat goal from 1995-1998. He has to be one of the most unique players to ever get a Nike co-sign in the form of the Nike Air Shake NDestrukt, a weird enough shoe for The Worm and then some. Today we get word that this Chicago-themed White/Red option showed up at select Finish Line locations in California, so keep your eyes peeled for growing availability in the near future.

From what we can tell, the Air Shake NDestrukt features an updated, smaller visible air window, but Nike has managed to give 1990s sneaker purists a lot to look forward to with this retro. The unique ‘Nike Air’ window remains intact as does the flowing tumbled leather on the asymmetrical strap overlay.  The original stitched basketball logo and Nike gear to wink at Rodman’s never-stopping motor return as well. Expect the OG colorway to be popping up in the near future too.

Be sure to check out more teaser images of Dennis Rodman’s Nike Air Shake NDestrukt below and head over to your local Finish line to see if they have this 90s gem in-stock today.

Riccardo Tisci And NikeLab Unveil Their Latest Collaboration, The Dunk Lux Chukka

Riccardo Tisci and Nike changed the lifestyle sneaker game when they introduced their heralded Nike Air Force 1 collaborations. The touch of luxury revamped the Swoosh, quite literally, through oversized branding and premium leathers, and Tisci and Nike have been close ever since. Tisci has expanded his repertoire to a growing number of silhouettes including this latest Nike Dunk Lux Chukka collaboration, slated to arrive in New York City just in time for New York Fashion Week.

Tisci uses inspiration from retro 80s basketball and skate culture while bringing his touch of luxury to the iconic model through tumbled leather and oversized branding once again. According to Nike News, Tisci says, “I think the Dunk has something that’s very special. It’s grounded in sport as well as in the street style culture. Oversized proportions create a unique aesthetic when paired with the full-grain leather. A drop-in Lunarlon insole maximizes comfort for a functional finish. The New Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Flyknit 2.0 Is Draped In Ocean Fog

With the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Flyknit 2.0 coming in infrared and multicolor variations, the newly-introduced silhouette is featured in ocean fog for one of its inaugural colorways. Nike Air Max 90 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit PNCL Women?s Shoe elevates the iconic profile with a flexible, breathable Flyknit upper and the comfortable cushioning that made it a favourite.

Unlike its traditional build of leather/mesh — the runner has been revamped with a featherweight, formfitting and virtually seamless upper that’s treated in the defining tone. Suede overlays adorn the mudguard for a premium detail, as well as defining its recognizable aesthetic. In addition, the tongue and collar section has also been slimmed down for a more comfortable slip-on feel, as it’s topped off with a contrasting white rubber sole unit.

More lightweight and breathable overall, this women’s pair is currently available at select Nike retailers overseas, although, a stateside release is imminent.

The Nike SF-AF1 Is Releasing In Grey

It’s safe to say that up and coming Nike designer Ben Kirschner killed it when he introduced the Nike SF-AF1 to the world. The polarizing militarized takedown of the Nike Air Force 1 kept the original outsole unit intact while the upper was completely overhauled with unique materials native to military boots to hold you down for the winter, but the creation was also head-turning enough to be one of the most sought after lifestyle creations of the Fall/Winter season. Now we get a look at an upcoming Nike SF-AF1 Grey colorway headed to retailers in the near future.

Unlike past iterations of the Nike Special Field Air Force 1, this monochromatic grayscale update features a new pre-cracked leather throughout to additional vintage effect. The ballistic nylon retains its place on the heel and high-arching ankle collar while the coveted alternate paracord ankle strap will also be available for this coming release. What do you think of the Nike SF-AF1 Grey? Check out more detailed shots below and know that we’ll keep you updated on a Release Date in the coming days right here on Sneaker News.

Nike Celebrates 5 Decades Of Basketball

Nike has and always will be at the forefront of Basketball performance footwear, perfectly bridging on-court readiness with off-the-court style. With the 5 Decades Of Basketball Pack, Nike expresses that duality with five silhouettes at the peak of NYFW and All-Star excitement, with each silhouette representing each decade of Nike’s storied existence.

The Nike Blazer Studio (1970s), Air Force 1 High Lux (1980s), Air Foamposite Pro (1990S), Air Zoom Generation (2000s), and all-new Zoom Bonafide (2010s) take on the signature Vachetta Tan elements while adding touches of rose gold detailing around the upper, with the most notable usage on the newest model; the Zoom Bonafide makes use of the Zoom Flight 95 sole, but adds on a Flyknit upper that is both ready for hoops and the street.

The Nike Five Decades Of Basketball is set to release Friday, February 10th, exclusively at KITH Manhattan. A wider release is scheduled during NBA All-Star Weekend at select shops worldwide.

Release Information For The Nike Air Zoom Generation Vachetta Tan

Since Nike Basketball won’t be releasing any All Star sneakers for their signature athletes this year, they decided to bring back (kind of) a classic.

Last month we saw the Nike Air Zoom Generation get the retro treatment for the first time when it released in the First Game colorway. Now during All Star Weekend we’ll see a modified version of the All Star/Wheat colorway make a return. Known as the Air Zoom Generation Vachetta Tan, the shoe features a new nubuck construction on the upper along with perforations on the toe and ankle, a Sail midsole, and gum outsole. In the images above, actor/comedian Kevin Hart is seen wearing the sneaker at an NBA game.

The Nike Air Zoom Generation Vachetta Tan will be releasing exclusively at Kith on Friday, February 10th as part of the 5 Decades Collection, followed global release on Saturday, February 18th. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Paul George Wore This New Black And Yellow Nike PG 1 Colorway Last Night

We’re less than a month away from the release date of the Nike PG 1. Set to release on March 4th, the first colorway of the Nike PG 1 will have a Pacers theme since it will come dressed in Obsidian, White and University Gold. But what about future colorways of the Nike PG 1? One colorway that could possibly end up releasing somewhere down the line is this brand new Black and Yellow pair that George recently wore during last night’s game.

Most of the base of the shoe comes in Black in what appears to be a suede-like material, while the hits of Yellow and Gold accent the shoe rather nicely. Add in the Grey midsole and strategically placed Blue speckling throughout the shoe and you’ve got yourself the gist of the design. Would you like to see these release? Stay tuned to find out if they do.

A Punch Of Electrolime On The Nike Air Huarache

There’s a new “electric” colorway of the Nike Air Huarache on the way (pun intended) that will have you taking a second look.

The popular runner that has made a triumphant return in the last couple of years is seen in a new electrolime colorway. Highlighted by the bright shade of yellow on the toecap and side panels, this Huarache is given some balance with shades of grey everywhere else on the shoe including the toe, tongue, ankle, laces, and outsole. A white midsole finishes things off proper.

Look for this Nike Air Huarache in Electrolime and Cool Grey to land at stateside retailers in the near future.
