Miami retailer SoleFly is a couple of weeks away from releasing their collaborative effort with Jordan Brand. The SoleFly x Air Jordan 23 pays homage to the 1997 MLB World Series Champion, Florida Marlins. Let’s take a closer look.
Rocking the team colors from the ’97 Marlins, the Jordan 23 is dressed in a Teal upper composed out of a tumbled leather. Even more tonal hues are noted in in areas such as the stitching, laces, lining and sole unit. Creating minimal contrast and a premium feel are the hits of Gold noted on the branding an midsole speckling. Laser-etched “23” and “SF” branding is placed on the tongue to help give it even more of a collaborative feel. Said to be limited to only 1,500 pairs, each pair will be numbered which can be noted on the stitching on the inside of the shoe. The shoe will drop exclusively at SoleFly?s Cutler Bay location on October 22 for the retail price of $275.. If you’re not in the area, you’re going to have to wait until October 24th to try to get a pair. Author’s Take
Very dope iteration of the 23. I’d love to get a pair, put it away for 8 months and break necks next June! Too dope!
