The Air Jordan 2 Will Get Deconstructed This Summer

The Air Jordan 2 doesn’t get as much love as it truly deserves. The shoes were universally panned at the time of its original release, but it opened doors for Nike to get sexier with leather materials and animal-print textures, which is the standard for today’s higher-end retro product offerings. This Summer, Jordan Brand will present the Air Jordan 2 Decon, a slimmed-down version of the 1987 silhouette.

By removing the excess padding, the Air Jordan 2 Decon is obviously much slimmer on feet and lends to the dominant casual/lifestyle trend. Color-blocking options appear to be the usual tonal style; seen here is a mint and Bordeaux while an unseen “Sail” colorway is coming as well. Expect a release in July with a $150 MSRP.

Who Picked Up A Pair Of The Air Jordan 1 High Blue Suede

When word got out that Jordan Brand would be releasing Air Jordan 1 Highs done in all-suede uppers, it got people low-key hyped for them. But here’s where I think Nike dropped the ball with this release, the dropped this version of the Air Jordan 1 High too close to the release of the highly coveted Air Jordan 1 High Royal OG. By doing that, everyone kind of forgot about the Air Jordan 1 High Blue Suede and went after the OG Royal 1s instead.

Now that the dust has cleared, we can once again place out attention on the Air Jordan 1 High Blue Suede. Dope in it’s own way, this version of the Jordan 1 High comes in all-Blue fashion. This includes the suede upper, laces, lining, branding and the entire sole. No Nike Air branding, but it’s still clean IMO. Priced at $140, this is definitely a dope pick up whether you managed to pick up the Royal 1s or not. Get a pair today while supplies last.

How Many Of You Would Cop This Air Jordan 13 Low UNC PE

This Air Jordan 13 Low UNC PE was issued to your 2017 NCAA Basketball National Champions. We’ve seen this PE before, but this is the latest look courtesy of English Sole.

Adding contrast to the shoe is the White premium leather on the tongues, toe box and midsole. Gicing it that PE feel is the UNC classic argyle lining that matches up perfectly with the stripes on the UNC jersey. As a cherry on top, UNC branding is embroidered on to the tongue of the shoe. The Jordan Trunner LX Is Releasing In Triple White Pure Money Colors And More

The Jordan Trunner LX marks an odd time in Jordan Brand’s history. The shoe came out around the same time as the Air Jordan 15 and you can tell by the striking resemblance with the unique woven upper and circular Jumpman branding on the heel mirroring some of the Jordan 15’s most unique elements. We’ve been getting a plethora of OG colorways of that stealth flight bomber inspired Jordan retro model, so we can see why Jordan Brand thought it was a good time to revisit one of their first forays into the world of training with the Jordan Trunner LX. More colorways are on the way, too with a “Pure Money” inspiration featuring a near all-white upper with Metallic Silver accents. There’s also a monochromatic Light Grey option featuring a monotone aesthetic on the woven midfoot section and ventilated sports mesh toebox. What do you think of the look? Expect both pairs to be available later this Spring 2017 season. Check out more of the latest via our Jordan Release Dates page.

Release Date For The Air Jordan 1 High Metallic Red

If you remember, this Air Jordan 1 High dropped in 2009, but it wasn’t true to its original form since it lacked “Nike Air” branding.

This upcoming 2017 version will please old-school fanatics as it’ll be revived in its OG makeup. Clean white leather makes up the upper with varsity red accents located on the swooshes, wings logo, outsole and along the patent leather ankle section, followed with a white midsole unit. Nike Air branding now appears on the tongue, insole and outsole to finish off its classic design.

Look for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ?Metallic Red? at select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers on May 6 for a retail price tag of $160.

The Air Jordan 31 Low Is Releasing In Pure Money

The Jordan 31 has done an excellent job featuring the rich heritage of Jordan Brand’s past through unique colorway stories that harken back to some of your favorite retro releases. We’ve seen references to the Banned 1s, Royal 1s, Space Jam 11s, and the list goes on and on. Now the latest nod to the past comes atop the coming Jordan 31 Low “Pure Money” slated to release in both adult and kids sizes on May 5th.

It’s worth noting that the images of the Jordan 31 Low Pure Money here are of the GS size run, but the official imagery shows off just how pristine this pair is to match the other looming Pure Money offerings on the Jumpman release slate. (Just this morning we received word that the Air Jordan 7 “Pure Money” will drop on June 3rd while the Air Jordan 4 “Pure Money” retro returns on May 13th). The white on white woven upper features Pure Platinum branding while a Metallic Silver heel matches the icy outsole rather well.

Will you be grabbing a pair this May? Check out more photos below and head over to our Jordan Release Dates page for an updated look at what’s next from Jordan Brand.

Release Date For The Air Jordan 11 Low Blue Moon

We’re always happy to see more and more Jordan 11 Low options on the release slate. It means that the weather is finally clearing up and we can look forward to a summer of hooping and styling in our favorite patent leather low top from Jordan Brand. This Summer 2017 promises to be another successful season for Mike’s imprint for both adults and kids alike, especially given the upgraded grade school girls lineup featuring a Jordan 11 Low of their own in the Jordan 11 Low “Blue Moon” out April 22nd for $130 USD.

The Jordan 11 Low Blue Moon features some notable adjustments to the famous 1996 classic, too. First, there’s a lifestyle-inclined suede upper instead of the usual Cordura mesh fabric that’s been such a staple for the past 20+ years. The Midnight Navy color matches the iridescent sheen found on the pre-aged metallic patent leather rather nicely and that’s a drastic change of pace for the model given the usual glossy tendencies. About the only hint of traditionalism found in this pair is the icy outsole. What do you think of the look? Check out a first set of retail images below and be sure to head over to our Jordan Release Dates page for a full look at the coming April 2017 offerings from Jordan Brand.

DJ Khaled: Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Pink Will Only Release In GS Sizes

Things aren’t looking too good for all that have the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Pink on their wish list and can’t fit into a GS size. DJ Khaled recently had a brief interview with Jordan Brand. Of course they talked about sneakers, but the one tidbit that had everybody talking was the fact that Khaled said that the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Pink releasing later on this year will only do so in GS sizing.

?This broke the internet. Me, in my house, on my way to the press conference to announce the title of my album, Grateful. I remember calling Reggie [Saunders], I was like, ?Yo Reggie, imma wear a pink suit at the Beverly Hills Hotel for my press conference. Do you have any pink J?s?? That morning, I was surprised with some pink ?Don C?s?. I didn?t know that they only making these for kids. It makes the shoe 10 times more exclusive even though they?re already exclusive. They?re pink ?Don C?s?. I haven?t seen them. I haven?t even seen Don C with them. I got a chance to wear them and it was a big day for me, and I?m grateful for y?all sending me that pair.?

I guess we’re not going to be seeing all-Pink outfits this Summer, right? Damn. No word on when the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Pink GS will be dropping but we’re pretty sure that info will soon be provided as well.

Follow our Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Pink (Arctic Orange) hub page as more info begins to surface.

Foot Locker Employees Caught Backdooring Air Jordan 1 Royal

We all know it happens. A monumental sneaker release every other weekend typically ends in disappointed customers since there aren’t enough pairs around, but back-dooring, the act of shop employees holding pairs back for select customers who don’t have to wait on line or enter hapless raffles, still runs rampant. But at Foot Locker? @Don_athon on Twitter posted a video of what appears to be a simple transaction, but Don mentions that he waited four hours for the Royal 1s, only to be told by managers of the store that the shoes were completely sold out. Six pairs in total were “held” behind the counter for customers who appeared to casually walk in, pay for the shoes, and leave. The employee in the video as well as the customers get a bit contentious, because who really likes to be recorded on video?

To Foot Locker Inc.’s credit, they have made efforts to reach out to @Don_athon to investigate the matter. Watch the video and judge for yourself.
