Have You Picked Up A Pair Of The adidas Tubular Nova Primeknit

adidas Tubular Nova Primeknit 1 adidas Tubular Nova Primeknit 2 adidas Tubular Nova Primeknit 3

If you thought the adidas Tubular Nova was dope as is, you’re right, but there’s no doubt that the adidas Tubular Nova Primeknit is an even better look. A handful of colors have already been spotted, and today we focus our attention on two of them including a couple of on-feet images.

The construction of the sock-like Tubular Nova has it dressed in a Primeknit upper paired up with the suede overlays that are also a part of the lacing system. The overlays are also connected to the heel counter to help give the shoe its unique look. The Primeknit upper sits on top of the traditional Tubular sole unit that comes in a two-toned motif. Pair number one comes in a black and grey colorway, while pair number two comes in a black and white colorway. Out now, pick these up at select retailers all around the world such as BSTN. Hot ot not? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I was on the fence regarding the Tubular Nova when it officially came out, but with the new Primeknit construction on the upper, I like it a lot more. With that being said, I’m still not a huge fan of the comfort the Tubular sole unit gives.

New Details Have Been Added To The Air Jordan Spike 40

JORDAN SPIKE 40 1 JORDAN SPIKE 40 2 JORDAN SPIKE 40 3 JORDAN SPIKE 40 4 JORDAN SPIKE 40 5

The Air Jordan Spike 40 didn’t do as well as Jordan Brand expected when the new Spike Lee silhouette made its debut last year. They even tried switching things up and created a low-top version to appeal to the masses, but even that didn’t work.

Now Spike and the Jumpman will be trying something else as we take a look at this grade school colorway that you see above. Utilizing the low-top version in an all-black upper, a checkerboard print and a polka dot print can be seen covering the upper along with contrasting red and white accents.

Do the subtle prints on the upper make you like the Air Jordan Spike 40 more than before or are these still a pass for you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

via: JD Sports

Author’s Take

No matter if it’s a low-top or a high-top or if it has print or no prints, I just don’t like this silhouette. Jordan Brand needs to just stop making new colorways and give up on the Spike 40.

Get Ready For New Colorways of The Nike Payaa

NIKE PAYAA 1 NIKE PAYAA 2

Last year the Nike Payaa made its debut in a handful of colorways. At first people had mixed emotions but then it began growing on them due to its lifestyle appeal and similarity to other popular Nike silhouettes like the Air Presto, Sock Dart and Roshe Run.

This Spring/Summer we’ll be seeing the Payaa return in what will hopefully be a few different color options. Up above is a new colorway that we can expect to see hitting retailers soon with Grey covering the entire mesh upper and Bright Crimson detailing landing on the Swoosh on the thick white midsole as well as on the tongue pull tab.

What do you think about this upcoming women’s colorway? Are you excited to see more of the Nike Payaa in 2016?

via: 43einhlab

Author’s Take

Last year all of the colorways that released took a tonal approach. I hope to see new colorways this year with some contrast to give the shoe a new look.

Salmon Vibes Cover The Saucony Grid SD

SAUCONY GRID SD 1 SAUCONY GRID SD 2 SAUCONY GRID SD 3 SAUCONY GRID SD 4 SAUCONY GRID SD 5 SAUCONY GRID SD 6

There’s a new colorway of the Saucony Grid SD in town and it brought the Salmon vibes with it.

The Saucony Grid SD originally released back in 1991 and it made its return last year in a couple of highly coveted colorways. Now for the Spring Saucony is beginning to release new colorways with one of the latest being this Black Salmon variation. This version of the Grid SD is done up in a combination of mesh, leather and suede on the upper with Black taking care of the back half of the shoe and Salmon landing on the toe, heel, and the branding patch on the tongue. A white midsole and black rubber outsole finish off this Saucony Grid SD that can be found at select retailers now for $90. Are you diggin’ these Grid SDs?

via: Sneaker Politics

Author’s Take

For some reason when black and orange are combined they just work together very nicely in my opinion. I don’t own a pair of Saucony Grid SDs yet but this may have to be my first. Dope colorway by Saucony.

The Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Gets Deconstructed

NIKE TENNIS ULTRA 1 NIKE TENNIS ULTRA 2 NIKE TENNIS ULTRA 3 NIKE TENNIS ULTRA 4 NIKE TENNIS ULTRA 5 NIKE TENNIS ULTRA 6

Nike has been tinkering a lot lately with the Tennis Classic silhouette. Last week we took a look at a new and improved version of the silhouette that featured a Flyknit upper and Ultra outsole.

Switching back to more of an OG look is this new Deconstructed pair that you see above. This upgraded version of the classic tennis sneaker comes dressed in a perforated white leather upper with subtle Nike branding on the tongue and heel. A white midsole and gum outsole complete the look on this revamped version of the Tennis Classic.

What do you think about the Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Deconstructed? Are you a fan of the simple design and the perforated upper? Look for them to land at US retailers in the near future.

via: Hype DC

Author’s Take

After seeing the new Flyknit versions last week I’m a bigger fan of those. I also don’t like how this pair doesn’t have the Swoosh on the side panels.

We got some pretty sweet on-feet shots of the latest colorway of the Nike Free Flyknit Mercurial. Said to resemble the look of the Superfly HTM version, let’s take a closer look at the shoe.

The shoe starts off with an all-black Flyknit upper. The black Flyknit upper is gently contrasted by the hits of grey placed throughout the upper. Below, you will find a white speckled Free sole. Minor hits of color can be seen on the heel tab and insoles (not pictured). Said to be a part of the 2016 Nike F.C. collection, you can now pick these up at select retailers such as BSTN. Author’s Take

The shoe is really nice. The only thing I would change about it would be the color of the Swoosh. The Swoosh also coming in black sort of hides it.
