This upcoming Packer x atmos x Bounty Hunter x Reebok Insta Pump Fury collaboration honors iconic toy/apparel specialists, Bounty Hunter, who?s renegade punk-influenced aesthetic has been a vital inspirational force force in the sneaker and streetwear world for more than two decades.

Essentially applying the label’s signature blacked-out look across the sneaker’s upper, the component is comprised of premium full grain leather as a nod to the classic motorcycle jacket. The stealthy profile is subtly offset by reflective silver 3M details on the heel branding, tongue, pull tabs and Pump button.

Further detailed with a quadruple-branded sockliner, the model is finished off with a white rubber sole unit. Also, a special vinyl toy, a black/white Skull Kun figure will be included with each pair.

Look for this limited edition model to drop at PS and atmos on Friday, April 29th first.

Author’s Take

I like the simplicity of the collab’s outcome but I don’t think it needed three other labels to execute the idea. Aside from that, I’m a fan of the silhouette and this variation.

Mache Customs Pays Tribute To Prince With This Custom Nike Air Classic BW

Yesterday we were hit with the unfortunate news that music and entertainment legend Prince passed away at the age of 57. He was considered one of the most beloved musicians, performers and human beings by many people.

Mache Customs shared with us this custom Nike Air Classic BW that he created to pay tribute to the late legend. The colorway utilized is the OG Persian Violet pair but Mache has added “Purple Rain” by the heel along with Prince’s symbol. It seems like the rest of the shoe remained untouched, but the small addition gives a completely new look to the shoe. Here’s the caption that Mache wrote for this picture.

“It’s sad day today with the passing of Prince as well as Chyna from the wrestling world. These Purple Rain Themed BW’s are my way of celebrating the life and accomplishments of the Purple legend. May both of you find your peace up there.”

Great gesture by Mache Customs and we send our condolences to the families of both Prince and Chyna.

Nike Marxman University Red

The Nike Marxman‘s laceless design was definitely head-turning when introduced at this year’s All-Star Weekend festivities in Toronto. The dual-strapped high top takes a break from the sleeker side of things for a chunkier aesthetic with a heel and outsole unit reminiscent of something Marty McFly would be breaking in on his hoverboard. Today we get a look at the latest colorway for Spring 2016, as this University Red offering skips out on the tumbled leather for a smoother textile choice to coincide with the fiery shade. What do you think? Check out a detailed look below and know that retailers like Titolo have the pair in stock today.

Rear View Of The Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate Olympic

Air Jordan 7

Follow a first look at the purported Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate earlier this month, another image of the silhouette has leaked, specifically its rear portion, as we continue to progress towards the sneaker’s release later this summer 2016.

As its moniker suggests, this forthcoming variation of the basketball sneaker is essentially an alternate iteration of the iconic AJ 7 Olympic. The image above displays the model’s back badge, which pays respect to the American flag.

Draped in a patriotic red, white and blue palette, the model’s release also coincides with the upcoming 2016 Summer games to held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Retailing for $190, this latest variation is scheduled to debut at select JB accounts on August 16th.

Solebox And ASICS Finally Release The Blue Carpenter Bee

If you’ve been paying attention to ASICS retro runners for a few years now, this upcoming collab from Solebox should look familiar to you. That’s because a sample first surfaced of the GEL-Lyte III colorway by the German sneaker shop way back in 2012. Apparently scrapped at the time, Solebox has chosen to bring the look back, which we now learn is the “Blue Carpenter Bee” colorway. The awesome look for the GEL-Lyte III inspired by the large blue species of bees indigenous to Southeast Asia features a premium construction in black nubuck with the upper portion in a bright blue felt-like textile to mimic the look of the blue carpenter bee. A few details are then added to complete the theme, including bee graphics on the insoles, under the clear portion of the heel outsole, and Solebox branding on each heel and lace tip. The Solebox x ASICS GEl-Lyte III “Blue Carpenter Bee” will release in-store an online exclusively from Solebox on April 30th.
