Chris Pauls Wears An Exclusive Air Jordan 11 Clippers PE

Air Jordan 11 Air Jordan 11 1

Jordan Brand advocate and Los Angeles Clippers’ star guard, Chris Paul, recently attended the AAU team?s Championship Game wearing another exclusive Air Jordan 11.

Consisting as a player’s exclusive, the model essentially coordinates with the Clippers’ signature colorways. Textured leather and the distinctive patent leather overlay across its mudguard are focused in red, while the respective theme is topped off with blue accents on the logo and number on the heel.

Unfortunately, this model may never see a public release, although, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

Author’s Take

I would purchase if it did release. I’m biased towards the silhouette and tonal colorway.

Author’s Takes

Andres Carrillo, News: I just picked up my first pair of 11 Lows with the Navy Gum pair. I’m thinking I may have to cop 2 pairs in the same year. The fact that these are leather on the upper is dope.

Air Jordan 3 1 Air Jordan 3 2 Air Jordan 3 3 Air Jordan 3 4 Air Jordan 3 5 Air Jordan 3 6

As you probably know already, Jordan Brand has decided that they’ll be bringing the Air Jordan 3 out of the vault in 2016 as we’re expected to see at least two different colorways release. One will be the all-black Cyber Monday pair and the other will be the return of the OG True Blue colorway.

Today we get our first look at what is believed to be the 2016 version of the OG 88 True Blue colorway. This Air Jordan 3 features a White leather upper with True Blue and Fire Red accents on the inner liner, eyelets, midsole, and the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the Nike Air branding on the heel. The signature elephant print in Cement Grey can also be seen on the heel, toe, and eyestay.

What are your thoughts on this first look at this year’s big Black Friday release? Remember that the Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue will release on November 25, 2016 for $220. Make sure to click and bookmark our Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue launch page to stay updated with this release.

Author’s Take

I would have pulled the trigger on these if they were the White Cement or Black Cement colorways, but I just don’t feel the need to spend $220 on the True Blue colorway.

Before this week we all thought that that Nike Air Foamposite One Olympic was going to release today, but with everything else going on at Nike/Jordan Brand this week, the release was pushed back a few days.

We are now expected to see this patriotic Foamposite arrive at retailers on Tuesday, July 26th. This Olympic colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite One features a pristine white foam upper with Obsidian, University Red and Metallic Gold accents seen throughout the rest of the shoe. The gold detailing on the One Cent logo and the special stars and stripes insoles complete the Olympic/patriotic theme.

You’ll be able to purchase your pair early next week for a retail price of $250. Make sure to click and bookmark our Nike Air Foamposite One Olympic launch page for the latest images, release information and updates.

Author’s Take

I?m not a fan of Foams, but a colorway comes around every so often that catches my attention. This Olympic pair is pretty nice, but I wouldn?t be willing to pay anywhere near $250 for it.

Asics made some serious noise this week, specifically the Gel Lyte 3, with the release of the Wale x Villa x Asics Gel Lyte 3 Intercontinental Champion that featured an eye-catching metallic gold upper.

As is the case with every release, it comes and it goes so we now shift our attention to what’s next. A new colorway of the Gel Lyte 3 has surfaced which may appeal to fans of the Air Jordan 6 Infrared. This new Gel Lyte 3 comes dressed in a perforated Black leather upper and contrasting hits of Light Grey on the mudguard, branding stripes, and the heel. What really makes the shoe pop are the touches of Infrared that can be seen on the inner liner, the branding on the heel and ankle, and the outsole.

If you’re feeling this Gel Lyte 3 then you can cop a pair now at select Asics retailers for $110.

Author’s Take

If that Infrared were red then I’m almost sure that I would buy these. Regardless, it’s still a nice pair of Gel Lyte 3s.

KoF Live: Under Armour Curry Lux Package (Video)

IMG_7849 IMG_7854 IMG_7858 IMG_7865 IMG_7870 IMG_7877 IMG_7890 IMG_7897 IMG_7902

The issue that many people seem to have with Under Armour kicks is that they just don’t look good off the court. In this day and age when people demand both performance and style in their sneakers, UA has often times delivered on the former but not so much on the latter. With the introduction of Under Armour Sportswear and more people paying attention to the brand thanks to stars like Stephen Curry, UA is looking to change people’s perceptions with premium quality releases that sneakerheads won’t mind rocking off the court.

One of those kicks that is sure to get people talking (we’re guessing the chatter will be more split down the middle) is the Under Armour Curry Lux, a reimagining of the Under Armour Curry One. Decked out in rich leather with a black, white and gum sole colorway, this could be the start of something special for UA. The Black Curry Lux is one of five colorways that will be dropping on August 5 for $150 at Concepts in New York City and because timing, UA just sent us a pair housed in special packaging to unbox.

To watch more live unboxings, like us on Facebook and you’ll be notified of when we’ll be broadcasting again.

Top Stories of the Week: 7/16-7/22

Even without any new adidas YEEZY headlines, this week was about as big as it gets for sneaker news. First and foremost, the Air Jordan 31 was officially unveiled at an event in Las Vegas, where the world got all the details on the shoe that combines the Air Jordan 1 with today’s modern technology and design. The other sneaker dominating this week was Pharrell’s unique new edition of the adidas NMD, which hit retailers today and is already long gone by the time you’re reading this. But don’t worry, there’s another chance at them on the way next month. See all the top stories from the past week you need to know about in our full recap below.

There’s a new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 KO High releasing and it’s coming at us real quick.

Set to drop next week, this new Air Jordan 1 features a tonal upper done in Pure platinum. As is usually the case with the KO version of the Air Jordan 1, this pair comes constructed of a canvas upper with a new quilted pattern that can be seen on the side panels, heel, ankle, and toebox. The Nike branding on the tongue and the Wings logo have been done in Metallic Silver while a White sole unit caps things off.

Look for the Air Jordan 1 KO High Pure Platinum at select Jordan Brand retailers beginning on July 30, 2016 for $140.

Author’s Take

The quilted upper on this Air Jordan 1 KO is something different, but I’m still not a fan of the canvas constructed design. I expect these to sit on shelves for quite some time.
