The adidas NMD Chukka Is Set To Come Out In An OG NMD Colorway
By SoleInsider
Right off the bat, the color scheme on the adidas NMD Chukka you see above should look familiar to you. Back in December of last year, adidas introduced the adidas NMD line to the world. The first colorway of the adidas NMD R1 came in a black upper contrasted by the blue and red blocks placed on the white midsole of the shoe. Four months later and we are now seeing the same color scheme placed on the Chukka version of the NMD. The upper comes in a black mesh with hits of black leather, while the Boost midsole comes in white with the blocks coming in blue and red. No word yet on the price of release date of the shoe, but if you’re impatient, you can now pick up a pair at select international retailers for around 139? ($158).
The adidas Tubular X Returns This Spring With This Black/Red Colorway
By SoleInsider
When the adidas Tubular X arrived on the scene last year it was all that people were talking about for a few weeks. But just like most things, the hype died down and people either forgot about them or got bored with the colorways that were releasing.
This Spring adidas is giving the hybrid Tubular another strong push and it starts with some eye-catching colorways like the one you see above. Adding to the white and grey pair that we showed you earlier this week, we now take a look at this new red colorway that also mixes in hits of black and white. Red leather can be seen on the upper along with a black/red woven material on the underlays. The only touch of white comes on the front end of the Tubular midsole.
Available now at select adidas Originals retailers for $120, is this a cop or a drop for you?
It’s hard to ignore any sneaker when it comes in a red and black color scheme. I’ve always been on the fence when it comes to the Tubular X but I’ll admit that this is a nice colorway.

The adidas Skateboarding Busenitz Pure Boost Now Comes In Grey
By SoleInsider
The adidas Skateboarding Busenitz Pure Boost made its debut when it dropped in a black colorway. If you weren’t feeling that look, perhaps this lighter version of the Boost-infused skateboard sneaker is more to your liking. Considered a hybrid sneaker that mashes up Dennis Busenitz?s signature silhouette with the Three Stripe’s Boost cushioning technology, the shoe now comes dressed in a grey and black makeup. Unlike the traditional Busenitz, this pair will not come in suede, instead opting to come in a more breathable and flexible mesh construction which is way more suitable for the Spring/Summer. Are you feeling the new colorway on the shoe? If so, you can now pick up your very own pair at select retailers for $130.
This shoe is dope. The mesh upper and a Boost sole works really well together if comfort is what you’re going for. I’ve always like the Busenitz model, but I always felt it was not comfortable enough. That changes now with this model.

Another Look At The adidas Tubular Doom Triple Black
By SoleInsider
Are you a bigger fan of the Tubular X or the Tubular Doom? Well lucky for you adidas is releasing them both again this Spring in some real clean colorways.
Earlier today we showed you the new red and black colorway of the Tubular X, and now we take a look at some new images of the Triple Black Tubular Doom. Just as the name suggests, this colorway of the Tubular is covered in all-black everything. The upper, inner liner, midsole, outsole and even the laces have been blacked out in what adidas hopes will remind you of the Yeezy Boost 750 Triple Black that released last year.
Are you feeling this new colorway of the Tubular Doom? Let us know your thoughts down below and loo for them to drop stateside in the near future.
I’m not sure if I would ever wear a pair of the Tubular Dooms, but if I would this would be a strong possibility. The all-black look just gives the silhouette a sleek look.

By SoleInsider
April 15th is officially recognized as Jackie Robinson Day, and to pay homage to that day adidas Baseball has decided to release a special cleat celebrating that day. Today they took the time to reveal the inspired cleats and we have the image for you.
The adizero Afterburner 2 baseball cleat and brand new adidas Energy Boost Icon 2 take inspiration from Jackie’s accomplishment on and off the field. The Energy Boost Icon 2 will feature the beloved Boost technology.
The cleats are also influenced by the way Robinson was able to change the game with his speed. The influence is seen on the upper as it comes with hand-drawn sketches that show Robinson stealing and sliding into second base. Other features on the cleat’s upper include the newspaper style headlines showcasing Robinson?s impact on the game. Jackie Robinson’s number (42) is embroidered into the center of a baseball diamond which can be seen on the inside panels of the cleats.
The cleats will used heather wool materials that pay homage to the wool uniforms and hats worn during the 1940’s. In addition to the wool construction, there is are digitally printed SPRINTSKIN panels on the adizero Afterburner 2 and premium nubuck on the Energy Boost Icon 2 complimented by the baseball stitch detailing.
The new Energy Boost Icon 2 also features a revamped upper with a street-inspired TECHFIT bootie and clear molded heel clip to provide the ultimate fit, along with a full-length Energy Boost midsole for game changing comfort for the cleathead. Lastly, both cleats feature a silver electroplated plates with PROTRAX cleat configuration to provide enhanced acceleration and traction. Dope way to commemorate Jackie Robinson Day. I know nothing about baseball cleats, but the fact that one of them comes with Boost technology is pretty dope to see.

An On-Feet Look At The adidas EQT Running Support 93 Boston
By SoleInsider
adidas Originals is getting ready to release the adidas EQT Running Support 93 Boston, a shoe that was inspired by the iconic ‘Boston Super’ model that made its debut back in 1986 during the Boston Marathon. The shoe you see above will be a part of the adidas Marathon Series – an EQT Support 93 collection that was revealed back in February when they released the adidas EQT Running Support 93 Tokyo.
The shoe comes dressed in a grey suede upper accompanied by the light grey nylon underlay that’s said to be inspired by the original design from 1987. Adding some contrast to the shoe are the red hits and the U.S.A. flag placed on the heel. Grey ribbon Three Stripes and a white midsole with hits of red and grey complete the look of the shoe. If you like what you see you will be able to pick up your very own pair for the retail price of $150. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
I have no affiliation or connection to Boston whatsoever, but there’s no denying the shoe is nicely done. Color and design is on point, and this is coming from a person who is not too fond of the EQT Support 93.

An All-Black Colorway Of The adidas NMD City Sock Will Release In The Fall
By SoleInsider
Adidas gave us a first look at the all-new adidas NMD City Sock last month in the black and white colorway that is expected to release on some time in My for those of us living on the US.
Today we get a first look at another future colorway which takes the tonal approach. Instead of combining two colors like the previous pair that we saw last month, this new NMD City Sock features a full black Primeknit upper for a sleek look. A white BOOST midsole with black EVA inserts and a black rubber outsole serve as the finishing details for this lace-less version of the popular NMD silhouette.
No exact release date is available yet but this adidas NMD City Sock in Core Black is expected to release some time in September 2016. Are you looking forward to grabbing a pair?
When I first saw the white and black colorway I didn’t like it. Now that I see this tonal black pair it actually makes me like the silhouette better. I’d still have to see them in person to decide if I really like them or not.

Is The adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged The Next Big Thing For The Three Stripes (Video)
By SoleInsider
2016 is already three months and change old and we have yet to see a true sequel to the adidas Ultra Boost. In many ways, the closest thing we have to an Ultra Boost 2 so far is the Uncaged version. We saw a hint of that last year with the Hypebeast collab, but this year seems to be the true version of the Uncaged as it features a sock-like bootie that fits snug on your feet. It reminds you the Ultra Boost of old (and still relevant as more colorways seem to be dropping all the time), but it’s an entirely different thing altogether and that’s what will have sneakerheads talking for sure. Today let’s take a look at the Uncaged in their grey and red variations. It won’t be the last that we see of these kicks, that’s for sure..

Author’s Take
So what if the Rockets don’t make the playoffs? Will these still be considered a “playoff” colorway or will adidas just not release them? Personally I think both pairs are pretty sick since I’m a big fan of red and black.
