Check out this revamped/luxurious rendition of the adidas Originals Stan Smith. It comes with most of the OG features such as the classic White and Green color scheme, and even the off-White sole unit. What really differentiates this pair though is the faux snakeskin placed all over the upper.

The images above show the White upper come in a textured nubuck and leather to replicate the look of snakeskin. The Green hits on the tongue and heel give the shoe the OG feel we all know and love. The three stripe’s legendary tennis classic, the adidas Stan Smith, made waves a few years ago when it was the defacto retro in the trefoil brand’s lineup. Primeknit, leather, camouflage, suede – you name it – all landed on the shoe’s simple upper to transform it into a bonafide modern lifestyle wear. There’s still nothing like the original white and green, but you have to hand it to adidas for continuing to revive the model. The latest luxurious take features a textured nubuck and leather to mimic as realistic a snakeskin as we’ve seen on a shoe without actually being authentic. The OG White/Green colorway shines with this alternate construction while a pre-yellowed vintage midsole adds more depth. Everyone’s favorite sneaker (at the moment) is showing no signs of slowing down as we now take a look at two new colorways of the adidas NMD.

Shown above are two new colorways of the upcoming adidas NMD XR1 silhouette that are part of an upcoming Camo Pack. The first pair features black and white camo Primeknit upper with black and red detailing. The second goes for more of a tonal look as black and grey cover the Primeknit upper with blue detailing. Both sit atop white Boost midsoles.

No release date is known yet for the adidas NMD XR1 Camo Pack, but make sure to keep it locked to Kick On Fire for updates.

I’m still not sure how I feel about the XR1 version of the NMD. I don’t really like the fact that the three stripes branding was removed from the side panels.

Completing the Ultra Boost Olympic Medals Pack is the bronze colorway. After having just shown you the gold and silver pairs, we now take a closer look at the third place finisher.

This upcoming colorway of the popular adidas Ultra Boost comes equipped with a black Primeknit upper and striking hits of bronze on the heel counter and the adidas branding on the tongue. A white Boost midsole and black Continental rubber outsole finish up the look on this upcoming pair of Boosts. No firm release date yet but these are expected to release some time next month. This is my second favorite colorway from the pack right behind the gold pair. However I don’t like that all three pairs come with the same or similar black Primeknit uppers.

Joining the gold pair that we just showcased, we now take a deeper look at the silver pair from the adidas Ultra Boost Medals Pack.

As the name implies, this colorway takes inspiration from the 2nd place silver medal handed out at the Olympics and features silver detailing on the heel counter, as well as on the Primeknit upper and the tongue branding. Black/Silver Primeknit dominates most of the shoe with a white Boost midsole and black rubber outsole finishing things off.

This pair looks almost identical to the black 3M pair that I already ha. The only differences is that mine doesn’t have the silver accents. I am not going to spend money on buying pretty much the same exact shoe.

Next month adidas will be releasing a special trio of Ultra Boosts inspired by the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympic Games. The shoes will use the medals given out at the games as inspiration.

The first colorway that we take a look at today is the pair inspired by the 1st place gold medal. This Ultra Boost features a black Primeknit upper with gold detailing on the heel counter and the adidas branding on the tongue. Finishing things off is a white Boost midsole and black Continental rubber outsole.

There is no official release date yet but this Gold adidas Ultra Boost is scheduled to release some time in August. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for further updates.

Previously offered in black/white, the adidas Tubular X Primeknit is introduced in another classic colorway, this time consisting of white/tan.

Essentially defined by its breathable upper construction, the component which flows towards an extended collar is dipped in the pristine tone. Light beige/tan suede overlays located on its side panels which also acts as a lacing apparatus, further complements the heavenly composition. Additional tan accents are seen on the tongue and pull tabs, while a white sole unit and translucent cream-colored heel (that may or may not glow-in-the-dark), finishes off the profile.

The Rio Olympics will be a major stepping stone for adidas, a brand that hasn’t had much to celebrate on the big international sporting event. In London, the Olympics were absolutely dominated by Nike with the advent of Flyknit, those snazzy reflective jackets, and all the footwear that surrounding the Olympic basketball team, but the landscape of sportswear has changed dramatically so much that adidas is the one getting all the eyeballs. For the upcoming Games, adidas has a trio of the Ultra Boost running shoe inspired by the gold, silver, and bronze medals. Each version is made distinct by a colored heel-cage and distinct Primeknit uppers. Release dates haven’t been set just yet, but you can certainly expect these in the coming weeks as the Rio Games approach.

New detailed imagery of the upcoming Slam Jam x adidas Tubular Nova is unveiled, as the model is a modernized take under the brand?s premium Consortium line — renowned for collaborations.

The Italian retailer essentially retains the sneaker’s recognizable profile and simply updated its construction with a traditional muslin and premium leather upper for modern appeal. Additionally, the model receives slight distressing around the front panelling and creasing to the leather at the tip of the tongue to exude a vintage vibe. Another notable detail includes large branding of the Italian retailer respectively located on the elastic band across its rear.
