Celebrate Like A Champion With The adidas Ultra Boost Olympic Medals Pack

ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 1 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 2 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 3 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 4 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 5

You know that adidas wasn’t gonna be left out of the Olympic festivities, right? The three stripes will be releasing the adidas Ultra Boost Olympic Medals Pack that features three distinct colorways of the popular runner.

This trio of Ultra Boosts are inspired by the bronze, silver, and gold medals given out during Olympic competitions. All three pairs utilize a black Primeknit upper with the silver medal pair adding some hits of silver on the Primeknit material. Each pair also comes with either gold, silver or bronze detailing on the heel counter, aglets, and tongue branding.

Look for the adidas Ultra Boost Olympic Medals Pack to release at select retailers on August 17th for $180 each.

Author’s Take

All three pairs are pretty dope but if I could only pick one I would rock with the gold pair.

Thoughts On The Upcoming adidas NMD Tan

adidas-nmd-tan 1 adidas-nmd-tan 2 adidas-nmd-tan 3 adidas-nmd-tan 4 adidas-nmd-tan 5 adidas-nmd-tan 6 adidas-nmd-tan 7

Can’t get enough of the NMD? Surprisingly, I’ve yet to try on a pair, let alone purchase one. I know, crazy. If you’re in love with the model, we’re happy to let you know that an adidas NMD Tan is on the way.

Done in tonal fashion, the adidas NMD comes dressed in a Tan hue placed throughout the mesh constructed upper. Even more of the same shade is found on the Three Striped branding, midsole tooling, laces, lining and heel tab. Creating contrast is the White Boost sole unit placed below. No word on when the shoe will release but expect it do do so sooner rather than later. Hot or not? Let us know how you really feel in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I never got on the adidas NMD hype train. It’s not a big deal to my anymore. I was intrigued at first, but I’m good now.

Reflective Hits Apear On The adidas Ultra Boost

adidas-ultra-boost-reflective-grey 1 adidas-ultra-boost-reflective-grey 2

Just when you think the Ultra Boost hype is cooling off, adidas goes ahead and unveils a brand new iteration of the shoe. The next interpretation of the adidas Ultra Boost has the model come dressed in a reflective upper done in tonal fashion.

Still constructed out of Flyknit, a Grey colorway takes care of the entire upper (including the TPU caging system and heel counter). Differentiating this pair from past Grey colored Ultra Boosts is the reflective hits placed on the Grey threading noted on the front portion of the shoe. The customary White Boost found below provides the only means of contrast. Slated for a Fall release, stay tuned to find out when the adidas Ultra Boost Reflective Grey gets an exact release date.

Author’s Take

The reflective hits are a nice touch. They’re not something I need, but I don’t mind it either. Grey is such a neutral and versatile colorway, I wouldn’t mind owning a pair.

Heres A Closer Look At The adidas D Rose 7 Knicks That Releases Next Week

adidas D Rose 7 1 adidas D Rose 7 2 adidas D Rose 7 3 adidas D Rose 7 4 adidas D Rose 7 5 adidas D Rose 7 6

Derrick Rose’s 7th signature shoe with adidas will release next week on August 11th as the former NBA MVP will be suiting up for a team other than the Chicago Bulls for the first time in his career.

Earlier this Summer D Rose was traded to the New York Knicks where he hopes to revitalize his career by teaming up with Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, and former Bull Joakim Noah. As a member of the Knicks we will surely see Rose lace up a few different PE colorways of his new D Rose 7. One option that will arrive at retailers is the pair that we see above which features an orange/red Primeknit upper with leather overlays on the side panels. A full-length Boost midsole and an icy blue translucent outsole complete the look of the sneaker.

You can look for the adidas D Rose 7 Solar Red/Knicks at select retailers on August 11th for a retail price of $160.

Author’s Take

The design of the shoe is not too bad. I don’t expect much from Derrick Rose’s signature line since I’ve never been intrigued in the past, but this is a solid offering.

The adidas Superstar Collaboration Rips Off The YEEZY Boost 350

One of Korea’s premier sneaker shops is the proud recipient of an upcoming collaboration with adidas Originals, and the duo didn’t disappoint. Kasina has linked up with the adidas Superstar, borrowing a prominent feature from the adidas Yeezy 350 Boost for a unique twist on the three stripes lifestyle classic slated to release on August 20th.

This luxurious rendition of the adidas Superstar 80s features a cream leather upper with black and red accents. The three stripe branding on the side panel is simplified with thin black contrast stitching, but the real show-stealing asset is the Yeezy 350 Boost’s rounded suede panel on the medial side. While you’d never confuse a pair of Superstars for a Yeezy Boost, it is cool to see Kasina tinker with the construction in an homage to Kanye’s latest and greatest.

What do you think of the Kasina adidas Superstar? Check out more detailed photos after the break and know that international spots like Solebox will stock this pair on August 20th.

While the gold, silver and bronze medal iterations consisting as the most standout variations this month, the adidas Ultra Boost receives yet another update, as this particular pair is treated in a combination of grey and pink.

Noted as a women’s exclusive, the popular lifestyle runner’s primeknit upper is essentially colored in a combination of dark grey and light grey, while more light grey hits adorn the three-stripe TPU overlay and heel counter. Pops of pink outlining the heel further pronounce its design, as it all rests atop a crisp white midsole unit and black outsole to round out the profile.

Retailing for $180, you can purchase this pair at select adidas retailers worldwide now, while supplies last.

Check Out This adidas Ultra Boost That Glows In The Dark

ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 3 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 1 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 2 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 6 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 5 ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 4

Glow-in-the-dark Ultra Boosts. Why hasn’t adidas created this yet? Well we can’t answer that, but what we do know is that Dank Customs beat them to the punch.

Dank Custom has taken the popular Ultra Boost and removed the cages as well as painted the entire Primeknit upper mint green. The best thing about the shoe of course is the fact that the entire upper glows in the dark, even the plastic heel counter and laces. This custom Ultra Boost rests atop a white Boost sole that actually does not glow. Check out the images above and let us know your thoughts. If these ever released, would you actually buy them?

Author’s Take

Pretty cool creation but I’m not really big on glow-in-the-dark shoes. I can definitely see adidad creating something like this in the near future though. Maybe for Halloween??

adidas Stan Smith Primeknit In Triple Black

The updated Primeknit construction of the adidas Stan Smith goes none more black with this latest murdered out colorway. Yes indeed, the popular “Triple Black” treatment you’ve seen on pretty much every other sneaker lately is applied to the Stan Smith Primeknit for this version with nothing but black from the tongue logo to the outsole. Wait a second, there’s actually some faint hints of white sewn into the Primeknit’s weave on the quarter panels to break up the all-black look just a bit. Those in need of another Triple Black sneaker can pick up a pair of this Stan Smith now at select adidas Originals retailers like Kith.

Texas A&M Gets Their Own adidas Ultra Boost Colorway

Texas A&M just got treated to their very own edition of the adidas Ultra Boost. Following up the colorway exclusive to the Miami Hurricanes, the college-exclusive Ultra Boost features an all-white Primeknit upper with the heel counter in the school’s shade of maroon. What we previously thought was a shade of “berry” on the heel turns out to be maroon for the Aggies to rep on campus. The shoe actually released via the Texas A&M’s online store, but unfortunately for the rest of us, they’re already sold out. Maybe one of the bros pictured here can sell you their pair on eBay.

The adidas Superstar Gets a Rio Olympics Makeover

The adidas Superstar joins the celebration of this summer’s Olympic games with a special colorway paying homage to the host city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The colorway takes inspiration from the colors found around the seaside city, with a white leather upper, deep blue graphic accents, and a sandy tan speckled sole unit. Surfboard and skateboard illustrations are found on each heel, while a tiled graphic on the right shoe’s insole finishes off the tropical Rio theme. The adidas Superstar “Rio” will release exclusively at the adidas Originals store in Rio de Janeiro.
