adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Royal Purple

The adidas Ultra Boost will continue its dominant run well into 2017, as the third installment of the three stripe’s running model features an updated Primeknit woven upper, new details on the heel cage, and alternating choices of matte or translucent finishes on the three stripe overlays. Today we get a look at the adidas Ultra Boost Royal Purple, a pair that takes a regal shade of violet to task with alternating white stripes.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of this upcoming adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 colorway is the vibrant semi-see-through violet cage that adds a flare for the dramatic in a way we haven’t yet seen on the Ultra Boost model. There’s still no word on whether the Ultra Boost Royal Purple will be a women’s exclusive or available to all, but stay tuned.

Shoe Gallery Gives A South Beach Twist To The adidas Climacool

The adidas Consortium World Tour has travelled around the globe to some of the most respected boutiques for numerous highly-anticipated collaborative efforts. Now the imprint is making one last stop before the turn of the new year to grab some sun in late-December in Downtown Miami. Shoe Gallery will be transforming the adidas ClimaCool, a shoe that enjoyed a number of awesome retro treatments throughout 2016, for an homage to the South Beach waterfront. The Shoe Gallery adidas ClimaCool Flight 305 will release exclusively at the shop on December 29th followed by a global release on January 7th, 2017.
The Shoe Gallery adidas ClimaCool Flight 305 pays tribute to the numerous art deco buildings that line Downtown Miami’s waterfront as the predominantly black pair is hit with neon accents in honor the neon signs scattered around Miami that light up the warm nights. adidas’ patented XENO technology is utilized underneath the black mesh overlay for an iridescent snakeskin-esque sheen for a truly original take on the ClimaCool model. KoF Field Trip: adidas Dame 3 Roots Quick Look (Video)

Damian Lillard is nothing without his family, his community, and his team. It’s why the letter O means so much to him. It’s a great name for a mixtape, but those three places helped shape Dame into a two-time NBA All-Star, former Rookie Of The Year and now a three-time signature shoe athlete. Amazing how all the 3s come together into one package, the new adidas Dame 3. It’s like they plan these things way ahead of time.
While we know the story of Dame’s rise from Oakland to Ogden, it’s the Oregon part that intrigues us the most. As a member of the Portland Trail Blazers, Dame has unprecedented access to adidas being a literal drive away. According to various adidas officials, Dame is practically an employee in the traditional sense because he’s at campus almost every day when he’s not on the road. He’s able to test his shoe, get them customized to his specific needs in a way that maybe an adidas athlete who can only get to Portland a handful of times in a year wouldn’t be able to. It’s the difference between being an athlete who has a signature shoe that has their name on it and those who have a signature shoe that truly earns the title.
We say it with every signature shoe launch when it comes to Lillard 3, but the Dame is without a doubt his most personal release yet. Homages to his hometown, his grandparents and the Three Os adorn the shoe from sole to the upper to the sockliner. It’s these personal touches that give anybody that wears the Dame 3 a connection to the man himself.
And anybody that wears the shoe will also know that Dame himself personally wants everybody to wear the shoe and that’s why it’s priced so competitively at $115. In a day and age when signature shoes were being priced way out of control, we are now just seeing the pushback from the sneaker community as price drops come from all of the brands. But Dame stayed true and even when the Lillard 2 ended up with a Primeknit upper and Boost, it was still dropped way below what you would expect with such (well-deserved) hyped technology.
The three launch colorways of the Dame 3, Roots, Rip City, and Chinese New Year, feature a mesh upper and a Bounce cushioning. As somebody who fell in love with the adidas alphaBounce, it was heartening to hear that elements of that extremely comfy, breathable (at least the EM one), and affordable has been crossing over to various key adidas silhouettes.

And just for fun, I asked our staff to share their thoughts on the Dame 3, Buy, Pass, Wait style, but without actually asking them if they would buy, pass or wait a pair.
Renz Ofiaza, News: I liked the D Lillard 2 in a few colorways and compared to its successor in the Dame 3, this new design is a definite upgrade. The unique lacing panel system gives it a modern vibe, as well as creating a dynamic aesthetic that makes the shoe more lifestyle appealing in my opinion. I also like how the sleek profile was retained and the revamped midsole seems promising for delivering more comfort.
Juan Carrillo, News: The D Lillard 2 was a good looking shoe, but D Lillard 3 is also dope looking in its own way. The lacing system sort of reminds me of the Pharrell x adidas Human Race releases, which is a good thing. It’s very smooth looking and it looks like it has a good casual look to it as well.
Andres Carrillo, News: My first reaction to the Dame 3 (I like the name change by the way) is that it looks completely different from the 1 and 2. One of the biggest issues of the D Lillard 2 to me was that it looked real similar to the D Lillard 1. However, adidas decided to go with a completely new look this time around and I think it worked out well for them. Out of the three colorways we’ve seen I like the Chinese New Year pair best. I like the new lacing system that extends down to the side panels and the graphics on the midsole. My favorite thing though has to be the new TECHFIT bootie that hugs the foot and features Dame’s “D” logo front center. It’s really in your face and I think that’s real important when it comes to a signature shoe, that way people can identify who it belongs to. I’m looking forward to future colorways. Also the $115 price tag is something that many people are gonna love. The only thing missing is Boost. What’s up with that adidas?

The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Trace Cargo Debuts Next Year

Following its initial reveal, official imagery of the forthcoming adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Trace Cargo has now released, which is noted to be part of the brand’s Spring 2017 lineup, although, suggested to debut in January.
Exuding a militaristic aesthetic, the low-top flaunts a blend of light and dark green-colored primeknit upper, alongside the application of reflective details with a matching olive cage. The distinctive TPU heel component is also refined for a much sturdier and sleeker look. Offsetting and finishing off the profile is a crisp white full-length boost midsole unit and black rubber outsole.
Retailing for $180, you can expect to find this pair at select adidas retailers starting next month.
adidas Named Sports Brand Of 2016 By Yahoo! Finance

Not that anybody needed Yahoo! to tell them, but the media corporation confirmed that adidas is absolutely killing it right now in the footwear industry. Today Yahoo! Finance announced adidas as their sports business of the year, citing that the Three Stripes are now enjoying an almost 3% rise in their share of the US athletic footwear market from 4.3% last year to 7.2% in 2016 (Likewise, Nike’s share fell almost 3%). adidas has also gained back the #2 spot in the footwear market, which was previously held by Skechers since 2015.
As you can probably guess, Yahoo! attributes the new rise of adidas to their popular Boost line, as well as the brand’s overhaul of their aesthetic with a more seamless transition from performance to lifestyle. In other words, the approach Nike has championed for years. Factor in the ultra popular NMD line and the far-reaching “cool factor” of Kanye West’s YEEZY line, and it’s clear to see that adidas is hotter than ever. So what does 2017 and beyond look like for adidas? We don’t know about you, but we’re excited to see what happens next from the Three Stripes.
adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Trace Cargo Releases In January 2017

Expect the adidas Ultra Boost to only continue to grow stronger throughout 2017. One of the most popular running models out right now has been a must-have in the lifestyle department too, and with the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0, adidas has only refined the model to be as sleek and comfortable as ever. Today we get a look at the adidas Ultra Boost Trace Cargo, an upcoming colorway perfect for the Spring 2017 that’s supposed to be readily available come January.
The adidas Ultra Boost Trace Cargo features that 3.0 iteration of woven Primeknit with a bolstered construction adding a thicker, more versatile comfort. The heel cage has a new gridded semi-ventilated build with the ‘Ultra Boost’ namesake blending in in a matching Trace Cargo shade. Adidas continues to find different ways to spice things up when it comes to the Superstar as we recently took a look at a new pair which featured cork detailing on the toe.
Now we give you a look at an adidas Superstar 80s which comes covered in a Vapour Steel (teal) all throughout the upper. What makes this pair stand out from others is the fact that the upper is constructed out of a snakeskin textured leather. White detailing, which serves as a contrast, is then seen on the three stripes branding, heel tab, shell toe, and the rubber midsole.

The three stripes officially debuted the all-new Ultra Boost 3.0 a couple of weeks ago when they released the revamped silhouette in 11 different colorways. With 2017 right around the corner, they show no signs of slowing down.
Today we give you a look at one of the latest colorways as we get an early glimpse at this Aqua pair. Featuring the newly designed Primeknit upper in aqua and black, this Ultra Boost 3.0 also comes with black/aqua laces, a translucent aqua cage, black heel counter, white Boost midsole and a black Continental rubber outsole.
There’s no confirmed release date yet for this Aqua Ultra Boost 3.0 yet, but you can expect it to release some time in 2017. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

After countless teasers and early looks, Ronnie Fieg has officially unveiled the highly anticipated Kith x adidas Ultra Boost Mid.
Fieg has worked with adidas the entire year on this release and has also created a brand new silhouette, the adidas Ultra Boost Mid. The Kith x adidas Ultra Boost Mid features a new ribbed sock-like appearance on the collar for a snug fit along with additional padding that locks the wearer?s foot in place for a sturdy ride. This heightened version of the Ultra Boost also goes with the cage-less look and opts for taped panels that create a subtle branding nod. Additional details include an all-over multicolored Primeknit upper made out of a wool-blend fabric which is executed in a much denser knit than normal to retain warmth, heel pull tabs, white heel counters, multicolored Primeknit laces to match the upper, a White Boost midsole, and a white Continental rubber outsole.

The adidas Harden Vol. 1 13 Below Zero Is Available Now

James Harden and the Houston Rockets won’t be in action on Christmas Day, but that wasn’t going to stop adidas from creating a special Christmas-themed sneaker for The Beard.
Seen above is the adidas Harden Vol. 1 Christmas or as it’s officially known, “13 Below Zero.” The shoe features a white and grey Primeknit and leather upper with Xeno detailing on the heel. This holiday colorway of the Harden Vol. 1 is inspired by the snow and the way Harden “freezes” his defenders on the court.

The adidas Superstar Is Coming With Gold And Silver Shelltoes

The adidas Superstar celebrated its 30th anniversary not too long ago, but has since taken a backseat to a number of silhouettes in the three stripe’s catalog that’s now more focused on innovation and new technologies than anything else. That doesn’t mean that the 80s icon hasn’t been revamped itself, as adidas Originals is ushering in the New Year with two premium “Metallic Toe” takes on the Superstar’s legendary shelltoe construction.
The adidas Superstar Gold Toe and adidas Superstar Silver Toe takes the precious metal route to task while each colorway features smooth white or black leather uppers for a more traditional juxtaposition.
