Lost in the recent hype surrounding the White Mountaineering adidas NMD Trail offerings and the upcoming adidas EQT-17 Boost slated to release in March is the fact that the Japanese label will be transforming the oft-forgotten adidas Superstar Slip-On with their signature minimalist aesthetic for a 2 colorway release on February 23rd, 2017.

The adidas Superstar was the recent recipient of a new Boost tooling, but this wouldn’t be the first time that the three stripes have tinkered with the 80s icon. The adidas Superstar Slip-On introduced the classic shell-toe to a neoprene slip-on upper with Qasa-inspired overlay straps, and White Mountaineering is making the branding even more apparent with the addition of three stripes cross-hatching atop either a Collegiate Navy or Core Black base.

Damian Lillard was once again left out this year’s All Star team as there just seems to be too many talented guards out in the Western Conference. That won’t stop adidas from releasing new colorways of the Dame 3.

The latest adidas Dame 3 has been dubbed the Lights Out colorway and draws inspiration from Damian’s mentality, and ability to shoot the lights out when the game is on the line. The shoe features an all-black upper with black detailing on the laces, inner liner, and on the BOUNCE cushioning outsole.

Look for the adidas Dame 3 Lights Out at select adidas retailers on February 17th for $115.

Penny loafers? Nah, just the latest version of the adidas Acapulco Slip-On. This time around, adidas Skateboarding decided to give their classic model a complete overhaul as it comes in a design inspired by the adidas 1988 penny loafer which happens come with  the same name.

This version of the adidas Acapulco is done in a premium full grain leather upper. The loafer-esque look of the shoe is the accompanied by subtle perforated hits on the toe, a mid-foot strap, a vulcanized outsole, and a molded sockliner for low-profile cushioning and flexibility. Like what you see? You will soon be able to get this new version of the Acapulco slip-on from select retailers on March 1st for $80.

We’ve got good news and bad news regarding the kolor x adidas Ultra Boost Pack. The good news, it release in a few days. The bad news, it appears as if the pack will only release in Japan and now stateside release being imminent.

Consisting of one pair of the Ultra Boost and one pair of the Uncaged, both models rock their very own unique motif. The original caged version is highlighted by the used of the Gold heel counter paired up with the Teal cage that offset the solid matte Black Primeknit upper. Adding to the wild look of the shoe is the Black Boost midsole and Solar Red rubber outsole. Lastly, Yellow lining adds to the bold look of the shoe.

The Uncaged keeps thins a bit more simple as the Primeknit upper is done in a Light grey and Blue color scheme. Adding some shimmy to the shoe is the Silver colored heel counter. A White Boost midsole and Blue rubber outsole complete the look. As of right now, it looks like only Japan will be receiving these on February 17th, but stay tuned to see if these ever see the light of day here in the states.

As most of you know, adidas recently dropped a brand new iteration of the adidas Pure Boost. Now it’s adidas Y-3’s turn to release their very own rendition of the Pure Boost. Here’a our latest look at the adidas Y-3 Pure Boost.

The revamped adidas Y-3 Pure Boost comes with a knitted and mesh upper done in an all-White motif. Just like you’d expect from a Y-3 sneaker, this sneakers rocks a very sleek and streamlines design. In addition to the mesh upper, the shoe also comes with tonal synthetics used for the Three Stripe cage placed on the side panels. Other features include the TPU heel cap, suede on the tongue, the Black Y-3 branding, the Yohji Yamamoto branding on the middle stripe and last but not least, the matching white full-length Boost sole unit. Set to drop sometime in March, look for these to release all over the globe at retailers such as BSTN.

Kanye West just busted out another colorway of the “Yeezy Runner” he was seen wearing early last month. This time around the uniquely designed shoe comes in an all-White aesthetic. The asymmetrically designed model comes with notable features such as the reflective hits on the Three Stripes branding, a chunky midsole and a gum rubber outsole. Overal, I’d say it has a 90’s retro feel to them, right? No word yet on what these are officially called, but I guess we’re going to go with adidas Yeezy Runners for now. The second leg of White Mountaineering’s Spring 2017 Collaboration is coming your way on March 1st. Releasing on the first of the next month, the White Mountaineering x h features bold three-stripe detailing on the forefoot with a restructured heel. The biggest difference between the NMD R2 and the first NMD shoes is that the newer model does not feature the signature “bumpers” on the lateral side of the sole, but instead a larger quadrilateral piece on the rear medial. Currently the black colorway has popped up at Euro retailers, so we expect the navy pair to go live soon.

Damian Lillard might not be an NBA All-Star this season, but adidas isn’t letting that fact take away from his incredible accomplishments throughout his first five seasons in the league. Dame became just the 10th player in league history to tally 8,000 points and 2,000 assists in his first five years and in honor of the occasion, the three stripes plans on releasing the adidas D Lillard 3 “Lights Out” on Friday, February 17th.

The D Lillard 3 Lights Out also pays homage to Dame’s notorious late-game capabilities, as his clutch gene is well-known throughout the league. The all-black colorway features updated Bounce cushioning throughout the outsole while the concept of being ‘lights out’ is referenced through the Triple Black aesthetic. Japanese imprint kolor has been a mainstay in the three stripes’ collaborative arsenal for quite some time now. The duo recently dropped two vibrant colorways of the popular adidas Response Trail Boost perfect for the current season, and now kolor will overhaul the adidas Ultra Boost and adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged with their signature vibrant mismatched aesthetic for a release in Japan on February 17th, 2017.

The kolor adidas Ultra Boost will undoubtedly be a sought after drop here in the states, and some of you were even lucky enough to grab this pair when it showed up unannounced at the adidas NYC flagship location this past week. The popular ‘Gold Medal’ heel cage returns here paired with a solid matte shade of teal to contrast the updated Primeknit 3.0 construction throughout. Alternate black Boost tooling hits the midsole to match while a vibrant hit of Solar Red holds down the Continental rubberized outsole unit. The whole mismatched ‘What The’ vibe continues with a sharp shade of yellow on the lining.

The kolor adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged, on the other hand, is a bit more traditional in appearance thanks to a combination of light grey and blue throughout the Primeknit slip-on upper. A ‘Silver Medal’ heel cage should inspire those who miss out on the above Ultra Boost to go after this pair. This is the second Ultra Boost Uncaged collaboration from Kolor, and should rank a bit ahead of their past orange creation based on the simplicity of this two-color option.

Another day, another rumored Yeezy release. While much of the focus remains on what Kanye wore on his date with Kim Kardashian for Valentine’s Day with the introduction of white Yeezy Runner, today we’re hearing rumors that this monochromatic adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Dark Green will be releasing this Summer 2017 season.

The above images were taken at Kanye’s Yeezy Season 4 show a few months back and from what we can tell, this adidas Yeezy Boost 350 colorway will be the simplest Yeezy Boost look yet. A lot of that has to do with the updated Primeknit throughout matching in a dark olive green while that side panel stripe is still evident through a differentiation in the woven pattern. That ‘SPLY 350’ branding is completely gone though, and unlike the most recent Yeezy Boost 350 offering, the heel tab is missing in action too.
