Showing that the sneaker world isn’t just for men, adidas Consortium presents a special “Deep Hue” pack of the women’s Samba this spring to celebrate the global women’s movement. As sneakers become a way of life for more and more women just as much as their male counterparts, adidas Consortium recognizes that the change is not only in the sneaker industry, but reflects a wider movement in the overcoming stereotypical gender norms across the globe.

Knowing that women don’t only want white sneakers with pink or other light-colored accents, the “Deep Hue” collection features premium suede constructions of the Samba in rich green, purple, and off-white tones with special threaded 3-Stripe detailing and embossed SAMBA lettering. All three also feature a clear gum rubber outsole and soft leather lining to complete the exquisite renditions of the iconic silhouette.

A percentage of the sales from the Deep Hue pack will go to Moving the Goalposts, an organization in Kenya that uses football to empower and educate girls in rural and urban  areas. The Deep Hue collection releases March 8th at adidas Consortium retailers globally.

Introduced earlier this month, the new adidas Ultra Boost X, a women’s exclusive sneaker, makes its official debut today, as we particularly highlight one of its inaugural colorways — orange glow.

With the distinct palette covering its primeknit upper, the model is defined by a free-floating arch and slimmer heel counter, while the sneaker’s openness of the toe area enables increased breathability. In addition, the shoe?s innovative lacing system supports movements and the STRETCHWEB outsole was specifically designed for the female gait to provide complete traction. Finally, a contrasting white full-length boost midsole caps off the comfortable design.

While you still have a chance to acquire the silhouette via the Confirmed app, with reservations to go live today, February 22 at 4PM EST — only four adidas flagship locations in the U.S. ? Los Angeles, Aventura Mall, Miami Beach and SoHo ? will have the pair in stock, while select Champs, Eastbay, Footaction, and Foot Locker retailers will hold in-store raffling in order to acquire the much coveted model.

If you’re located outside of the U.S., listed below are the official locations in which the sneaker will be sold this Saturday, February 25th for $220.

Everybody wants a pair of adidas Ultra Boosts, but not everybody can afford them. Wait, scratch that. A lot of people today have an adidas Ultra Boost or two and are now looking for something new. This is the plight of many friends and acquaintances that I know don’t pay attention to the everyday business of sneakers, but will latch on to the latest trend. Maybe they saw a celebrity wear it or read people raving them about them on mainstream news sources; these are the same people that bought a Nintendo Wii a decade ago because it was the thing to do. And much like in 2007, they’re not sure of what’s next after.

For those who were willing to scratch the surface a little bit more, there was more to the Wii than the pack-in Wii Sports. So when people ask me what adidas has got besides Ultra Boosts or NMDs and I don’t want them to fall down the Yeezy rabbit hole, I point them to alphaBounce. The 1.0 alphaBounce was one of the pleasant surprises of 2016, debuting on the feet of 2 Chainz during the NBA Finals and instantly becoming a stylish and affordable alternative to the $180 Ultra Boost. And unlike the Ultra Boost, there was hardly a struggle to find a pair anywhere, whether it was the original with the Aramis print, the XENO update, or the Engineered Mesh upgrade.

2017 brings us the 2.0 to the alphaBounce and for it’s first run, adidas is going back to recent past. Combining the Aramis print found on the original colorway mixed with a ForgedMesh upper for a muted finish was a little unexpected, but as a teaser for what’s to come, it’s exciting for anybody who became a believer last year.

adidas Running continues to bring the heat with the introduction of the women’s exclusive adidas Ultra Boost X, a model that features a unique raised arch platform for a natural fit while a full-length Boost midsole mirrors the ever-popular Ultra Boost original. While a trio of colorways has been available in select markets dating back to the beginning of this month, the adidas Ultra Boost X “Glow Orange” will arrive at retailers tomorrow, February 22nd for $180 USD.

The adidas Ultra Boost X Glow Orange benefits from a zig-zagging array of Primeknit featuring a vibrant light orange shade with a contrasting black mixed in on both the woven textile and the supportive overlay. This weekend we’ll be seeing the return of a few of the most popular colorways of the adidas NMD R1 as the Monochrome Pack will be receiving a restock.

Coming in three tonal color options of Solar Red, Crisp White, and Core Black, this adidas NMD R1 features a stretch-mesh construction on the upper with tonal detailing on the heel patch and welded three-stripes branding, the EVA midsole plugs, and even the Boost midsole. What pair will you be going after? The release date has been scheduled for February 24th.

adidas has taken the time today to officially unveil their latest runner, the Iniki Runner. We’ve seen the silhouette floating around for some time now, but the three stripes has now given it a proper introduction.

The adidas Iniki Runner takes inspiration from 1970s running culture and features a paneled construction of two-way stretch mesh with vintage suede overlays, finished with a shiny-mesh tongue, pays homage to classic runner constructions, whilst printed serrated 3-stripes marks reimagine an essential component of adidas heritage. The Iniki then offers total evolution, utilizing a concealed sock-fit design, OrthoLite sockliner and BOOST midsole unit. Subtle details such as copper-tipped laces and a gum rubber tooling completes the contemporary-classic design, creating an authentic unity of the old and new.

The adidas Iniki Runner will make its retail debut on March 1st. Will you be copping?

Currently, only official adidas retail locations worldwide are releasing the shoes, and will likely make them available via in-store raffles. In addition, the adidas Confirmed App is making the Zebra Yeezys available in four US locations – NYC, Miami South Beach and Aventura, and LA?s Melrose Avenue. Sneaker boutiques have not yet disclosed release information for the shoes.

With their first variation releasing this past November 2016, another colorway of the Reigning Champ x adidas Ultra Boost is scheduled to debut this year, although in a more pristine rendition.

The Vancouver-based clothing label essentially reinterprets the popular runner utilizing its core design ethos with premium craftsmanship. A mixture of clear grey and aluminum comprises the signature primeknit construction, while the signature three stripe caging system has been revamped in a more premium suede build.

More tonal suede accents are implemented on the TPU lined heel counter, as it’s all adhered atop a crisp white boost sole unit and grey continental outsole to perfectly coordinate with its color scheme.
