Back 2012, Nike dropped the Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy during the NBA All-Star Weekend. At the point in time, it was the hottest shoe around. Fast forward to 2024, and Nike Air Foamposite One is not as sought-after as it once was, but maybe a retro release of the Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy could help with that? According to zsneakerheadz, Nike is set to to bring back the Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy in 2025. When it initially dropped, the Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy was an integral part of the Nike Basketball “All-Star” collection that also included the Nike KD 4, Kobe 7, LeBron 9, Dunk High, and Air Flight One. The Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy is highlighted by its iconic Galaxy print across its Foamposite shell with Black used on the eyestays. A closer look unveils the mini embroidered Swoosh on the toe as well as Penny’s 1 Cent logo posted on the tongue, heel, and outsole. A carbon fiber midfoot shank plate atop its signature glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole completes the design. You also can’t forget about the “Remove Before Flight” tag. Classic.
