Puma’s DISC running system has been one of the most head-turning technological updates in the running industry. The innovation features a revolutionary laceless design with a forefoot dial that holds an internal wire system capable of tightening when turned clockwise, giving a custom fit to any runner wearing the a DISC-championing model. That update was over a half-decade ago, and now the German lifestyle brand is back with the introduction of the Puma Ignite Disc Sleeve. The creation rests on an Ignite foam base that help return energy back to the runner’s foot while absorbing some of the shock from running. Kylie Jenner, much to the chagrin of Kanye West, has joined forces with Puma to bring the brand some high visibility to the young teen demographic. It starts with this ad, revealed through Jenner’s Instagram, featuring a new sneaker called the Puma Fierce, as well as some accompanying athleisure apparel in the form of tights, sports bras/tops, and likely much more. The shoe is rather similar to Rihanna’s Fenty Trainer silhouette, only without the gaudy tongue. Will Jenner’s affiliation help the brand appeal to the younger, impressionable, generation? The colorway that picture focuses on is a Puma Suede coming in teal, black and white colorway. The shoe appears to be made out of a suede construction. Dual branding appears on the tongue as well as on the side panels. The PUMA XT-2 will once again be a part of a new collaboration this time with Sneakersnstuff. Here is our first look at their upcoming delicious collaboration that will have your mouth watering.

This collaborative colorway of the PUMA XT-2 will come dressed in a smooth tan leather all throughout the upper with an all-over laser print that features burgers, pizza slices, fries and sodas. The names of Erik Fagerling and Peter Jansson, the owners and founders of Sneakersnstuff, have been placed on the lace dubraes. The formstripe and tongue is made out of a super premium suede and the original plastic details on the side and heel have been changed to a premium leather.

The Sneakersnstuff x Puma XT-2 Pizza & Burgers will only be available at Sneakersnstuff and will be released March 12 at all Sneakersnstuff locations.

The Dee & Ricky x Puma Basket consists as the silhouette’s latest interpretation this year by the twin brothers for Spring 2016, whom are fashion and accessory designers.

Popularized for their abstract designs, the brothers injected the classic low-top sneaker with their own modern twist, particularly evidenced by a multicolored formstripe branding gracing its side panels. Consisting of two pairs, rendered in black and white, the models are constructed of patent leather across its upper and tongue, while it all rests atop a clean white rubber sole unit.

I’m a fan of the silhouette’s simplicity overall and this colorful iteration is pretty solid. I like how the brightness are only implemented on distinctive areas. It balances well with the main tones.
