The 50th anniversary celebration of the PUMA Suede continues as we now see PUMA link up with their latest partner, luxury travel goods and accessories brand MCM.

MCM reimagines the Suede, viewing its legacy through a lens of modern luxury to create a limited-edition selection of footwear and apparel. PUMA X MCM pays tribute to the founding days of hip hop?when the brands first became expressions of music culture. The resulting designs channel the DIY spirit of this era and deliver the new urban icons of today.

Made in Italy, the 50th anniversary Suede reinvents the codes of the classic shoe with a focus on texture and detail. Its upper is constructed of elegant, durable Visetos canvas?redeveloped specifically for this product to offer greater breathability and comfort. On the shoe?s tongue, a gleaming, jewelry-polished brass plate bears the MCM logo and a unique registration number?a nod to the exclusivity of MCM?s famous handbags. Each pair includes coordinated laces in two distinct styles: leather with contrasting edge-stain and fabric with metal tips. Primary packaging is similarly elevated: the shoes are housed in a textured ?canvas? shoebox stamped with lacquered MCM logos and foil details. Custom tissue paper bears the signature pattern of the Suede?s outsole. MCM offers the shoe in three colorways: classic cognac, white, and red-blue multicolor.

The apparel is also a nod to hip-hop culture. The classic PUMA T7 Track Jacket and Pants, with signature 7cm taping on the sides, is reimagined with swag and sophistication. The T7 ensemble features a slouchy fit that cuts a classic urban silhouette with textured nylon panels, embroidered in the Visetos pattern. The T7 Jacket?s back features a varsity-style patch that proudly displays the MCM logo. Both pieces are offered in classic cognac and red-blue multicolor.

The PUMA x MCM limited-edition collection will be available beginning May 24, 2018 at MCM and PUMA shops and select retail locations worldwide. The Suede retails at 350 ? / $340, the track top at 300 ? / $300, and the track pants at 250 ? / $250. MCM will exclusively drop the red-blue multicolor colorway in stores and online.

The first Big Sean x Puma collection made its debut back in March. Now, Big Sean x Puma Drop 2 is set to release to the public later on this month.

Big Sean x Puma Drop 2 will feature the recurring theme of classic luxury, streetwear staples and familiar PUMA silhouettes done in reimagined iterations Big Sean style. Drop 2’s color palette shifts to contrasting bursts of citrus and black. The Puma Suede and Suede Mid come dressed in Melon and Jelly Bean colorways while the Clyde comes dressed in an all-black makeover done in a premium leather. To go along with the footwear is the matching apparel done in the same color schemes. Following up their successful debut of the PUMA Thunder Spectra, Puma will soon be debuting the new PUMA Thunder Electric. Puma’s latest “chunky dad shoe” is inspired by their McQ Tech Runner Low model. Dropping next month, let’s get a closer look at the two debuting colorways.

The PUMA Thunder Electric comes with your usual dad shoe features including a thick/chunky midsole and a combination of mesh and leather on the upper. Features that stand out are the Metallic hits on the eyestay, leather heel pull tab, speckling on the midsole and Puma branding on the tongue tag and heel strip. The first pair comes in a White mesh upper, Black and Grey leather overlays, Pink and Orange accents, a Black speckled midsole and a Gum rubber outsole completes the design. The second pair comes in a Grey and Black upper contrasted by the Blue and Red accents.

Just like the first colorway, this pair of Puma Thunder Spectras feature a mesh and nubuck construction on the upper. The only difference is that this one is done in all-Black. The same Black hue can be found on the moulded TPU system, the Puma formstripe that runs parallel along the lateral sides of the shoe, the wavy chunky midsole and the minimal PUMA branding on the heel and tongue.

The Puma Suede Bow combines sports and fashion. This new Pink colorway draws inspiration from boldness, femininity and on point street styling.
