Perforated Suede Makes Its Way Onto The Nike Air Max 1

It’s hard to go wrong with a grey sneaker, am I right? I mean grey goes with pretty much any and everything it can be worn with ease. That is also the case with this new premium iteration of the Air Max 1. Looking at this sneaker we see that the entire upper has been done in grey, specifically Cool Grey and Wolf Grey. The entire upper is also constructed out of suede with perforations landing on the toe, midfoot, ankle, and heel. A white midsole and grey rubber outsole cap off the look on this Air Max 1 can be purchased now at select Nike retailers for $130.

Just as the name implies, these new SB Blazer Lows are made out of a canvas upper making them ideal for everyday wear, especially during the Spring and Summer seasons. The two color options we take a look at here are a Clay Green and Black, both taking the tonal route on the upper for a simple look. Both are then finished off with white textured rubber midsoles and pink herringbone outsoles providing some contrast as well as a pop of color.

Patent Leather Hits The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon In Two Colorways

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon will be shining this Spring as Nike has decided to cover the retro model with patent leather uppers. Seen  above in two completely different colorways, these iterations of the Air Zoom Spiridon are dominated by a patent leather on a good portion of the upper along with the signature open mesh netting that wraps around the toe, side panels, and heel. The two color options include an all-volt pair with hits of grey and black, and a Navy pair with white accents. Both pairs are then finished off with a white midsole and black rubber outsole.

You’ll be able to scoop up both of these colorways of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon at select Nike Sportswear retailers in the near future. In the meantime let us know which pair you’re feeling more.

Heres How Nike Will Be Celebrating Nike Air Max Day This Year

To celebrate Air Max Day 2018, Nike has announced a number of exciting activities that reaffirm the power of Air Max as a platform for exploration.

Each experience and launch is evidence of Nike?s unrelenting spirit of innovation, turning imagination into reality.

NIKE AIR GALLERY

Air has been an integral part of Nike and has transcended into popular culture for over 30 years. In celebration of the next generation of Nike Air, we?ve partnered with a select group of artists to turn their imagination into reality using the Air Max 270 as their inspiration. Inspired by Air, it?s their creativity, passion and community that moves us and the future of Air.

Nike will ignite cities from East to West coast and through a digitally connected experience via SNKRS. Beginning with Los Angeles, artists like Dear Giana and Bijou Karman will showcase how Air inspires LA to dream. Move around Chicago on Air Max Day to check out works by Evan Sheehan and Diana Pietrzyk showcased throughout the city. In Toronto, Maria Qamar (Hatecopy) and Hallie Tut share their visions of Air. New York features multiple artists including Shaun Crawford and Buckley as they carry on the artistic legacy of Air.

On Air Max Day (March 26), stay tuned to SNKRS for an exclusive Air Max drop in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City.

NIKE: ON AIR

From March 22 to April 15, Nike will be hosting Nike: ON AIR, a design workshop series in Paris, London, New York, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo that engages participants in the Nike footwear design processes. The program grants participants (no prior experience in product design is required) an opportunity to create the ultimate articulation of one of 10 Air Max icons for their city through creative sessions that will encompass the briefing, concept building and mood boarding stages of design.

In New York, NIKE: ON AIR sessions will run from March 27 to March 31. Participants are asked to envision a new Air Max for NYC, taking inspiration from what it means to them and their experiences in it. Nike designers, with help from guest mentors like Nike athlete Lacey Baker, creatives Erin Magee, Nicole Albino and Julian Consuegra and others from the local creative community, will guide the approach principles, which involve innovative problem solving, sustainable materials and manufacturing.

The day is shaped by the following five stages of footwear product creation: Concept development, Silhouette selection, Material exploration, Color exploration and Embellishment.

Upon completion of the Nike: ON AIR program, each participant will submit their Air Max concept to a judging panel, including Nike designers and city ambassadors, who will select the top three designs from each city. From there, these concepts will be turned into 3D designs that will go to a global vote on nike.com/onair (in a style akin to last year’s Vote Forward campaign). The most-voted design per city will go into production and be made available at a later date.

NIKE AIR VAPORMAX X ACRONYM ®

Nike and Acronym founder Errolson Hugh reimagine the pioneering Nike Air VaporMax. The design desperado tips his hat to the breakthrough sneaker, putting forth three colorways that evoke the art of disguise and an unexpected vision of the future. Acronym camo prints dominate the Nike Flyknit upper, while the laceless design, modified heel clip, and bold texture treatments reflect Errolson?s trademark industrial aesthetic.

In celebration of the Nike Air VaporMax x ACRONYM and Air Max Day (March 26), Nike partnered with Errolson Hugh and John Mayer to create a teaser film that brings the new footwear to life in a way that?s made for the silver screen.

The Johnny?s Icy Passage colorway will be available at select US retailers March 24 and globally on nike.com and SNKRS app March 26. $225
