Nike LeBron 13 Low USA Is Releasing Soon
By SoleInsider
The Nike LeBron 13 Low looks towards this summer’s Olympic games in Brazil with this patriotic “USA” colorway. The low-top edition of LeBron’s latest signature features a mesh upper in blue sporting some dots underneath with red and white accents throughout. Down below, you get the advantage of both Air Max and Zoom cushioning. No release date has been announced yet, but you can definitely expect these at Nike Basketball retailers very soon.
Official Look At The Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 In Midnight Navy
By SoleInsider
The Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 has been revived this season, as the basketball silhouette returns in a classic midnight navy colorway for Spring 2016.
Initially arriving at select retailers this past March 2016, the model will be widely available starting this weekend. Overall sporting a patriotic-inspired palette, the defining tone covers the majority of its upper, while white converges along the tongue, laces, Swoosh branding, heel, rubber sole unit and toe cap.
Finally, accents of red are evident throughout to cap off the design. Retailing for $150, fans can find a pair at more Nike stockists starting this Saturday, May 7th.
Aesthetically, I don’t like the model much. Although in this colorway, it’s pretty clean. If you’re a fan of the model and waiting for it to be reintroduced, this is a solid offering.

No matter how “old” or “played out” some people say the Nike Roshe Run has gotten, there’s still lots of people out there that consider it a classic sneaker that is praised for how easily it can be worn and how comfortable it is.
Nike really hit a homerun when they decided to give the lifestyle runner a whole new look and feel by outfitting it with a Flyknit upper. Returning for the Spring are some fresh new colorways of the Nike Flyknit Roshe Run NM. Today we take a look at a new all-black pair that literally covers the entire Flyknit upper in Black including the laces, branding, and inner liner. Down below we have the contrasting Natural Motion midsole that has been done in white.
If you’re still a fan of Roshes you can scoop up this pair at select Nike retailers now for $120.
With Spring/Summer vibes felt all throughout this upcoming colorway, this iteration of the Nike Air Footscape Magista comes covered in Gorge Green on the majority of the breathable Flyknit upper with black and white accents scattered throughout different areas of the shoe. Subtle hits of gum land on the outsole to give this shoe that “lifestyle” look.
Releasing on May 12th at select Nike retailers, what are your thoughts on this Gorge Green colorway of the Footscape Magista?
Just like the Free Flyknit Mercurial, I’ve had my eyes on the Air Footscape Magista for quite some time now. This is a nice shade of green but I wouldn’t pull the trigger on buying a pair.
This New Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue Has A Familiar Look To It
Since Summer is right around the corner you know it was only a matter of time until Nike gave us an all-white colorway, so here it is. We think a good name for this Free Flyknit Mercurial would be Triple White since it’s literally dressed in white from head to toe. The only hits of color come on the heel pull tab which is pink/red and the speckling on the midsole which is black.
You can look for this Triple White colorway of the Nike Free Flyknit Mercurial to arrive at select Nike retailers beginning on May 12th.
I’ve had my eye on the Nike Free Flyknit Mercurial for quite some time now. But if I were to ever pick up a colorway it definitely wouldn’t be all-white. I’d need something with a lot more color.
The Air Jordan 11 Low Varsity Red Might Be The Sneaker Of The Summer
Nike just released a fresh pack of the Nike Cortez that consists of two tonal colorways.
Known as the Nike Cortez 1972, this pack pays homage to the early beginnings of the Nike Cortez which made its first appearance at the 1972 Olympic Games. Both pairs come in a leather and nylon construction with extra large “1972” embroidering on the heels and your choice of all-black or all-white.
Both pairs can be purchased at select Nike retailers now for $75 each. So if you’re a fan of the Cortez model don’t sleep.
I’ve never been a fan of the Nike Cortez. I just don’t like the the overall shape of the upper and the ridges on the outsole. These are a pass on my end.
The Air Jordan 12 GS University Blue Proves That Life Isn’t Always Fair
If you’re a fan of these remastered Air Force 1s then you’ll be happy to know that more colorways will be releasing with the latest pair taking on a bright look. Dark Concord canvas covers the next Air Force 1 with Sail detailing on the Swoosh, midsole, laces, tongue patch, ankle strap and the Nike branding on the heel.
Set to arrive at select European retailers this weekend, stay tuned to Kicks On Fire to find out if and when these will be dropping stateside.
This pair would have looked better if the colors were switched around. White should have been the dominant color and Dark Concord should have been the accent color. I’m not really a fan of purple shoe.
This New Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue Has A Familiar Look To It
Were you a fan of the University Red colorway of the Nike Marxman that we showed you a couple of weeks ago? If you answered yes then you’ll probably be happy to see that there are more colors on the horizon.
One of those new options that will be arriving soon is this Stealth Grey pair that you see above. Stealth Grey dominates the leather upper and mesh tongue on this pair while Hot Lava provides a pop of contrast on the inner liner. Finishing details include a white midsole and grey outsole.
What are your thoughts on this Stealth Grey colorway of the new Nike Marxman? Cop or pass?
If I were to ever buy a pair of Nike Marxmans it would have to be a colorway that I fall completely in love with. I’m not a fan of this colorway so it’s an easy pass for me.
This New Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue Has A Familiar Look To It
Are you familiar with the Nike Mercurial R9 that released back in 1998? If you are then you may have noticed that this new silhouette that you see above has a strong resemblance to it.
Known as the Nike Air Max Mercurial R9, Nike has transformed what was once known exclusively as a soccer cleat into a lifestyle silhouette that is now part of the Nike Sportswear family. The Nike Air Max Mercurial R9 comes equipped with a Hyperfuse mesh upper done in Black and Reflect Silver. An all-white Air Max sole unit completes the look of the show while at the same time providing some contrast.
Available now at select Nike retailers for $130, is the Nike Air Max Mercurial R9 a cop or a drop for you?
Previously offered in an earthy variation, the Nike SB Trainerendor returns in another understated colorway for the season, this time in a traditional palette of black and white.
Essentially prominent across its entire composition, the low-top model is defined by a distinctive mid-foot strap which offers additional reinforcement and lockdown, aside from its lacing system. A rugged sole unit in pristine white solidifies the build, as well as providing perfect stability in various terrains.
You can purchase this simple two-toned pair at select Nike retailers overseas now, while a stateside release is expected very soon.
Following the release of its classic colorway in white/red/royal, the Nike Cortez ?72, which is essentially the original design of the iconic runner from 1972, is presented in another appealing finish this season.
Specifically listed women, this revived silhouette sports a pristine sail white leather construction with a classic gum sole unit. Accents of black are applied on the midsole to nicely complement the palette, while details such as a foam tongue, zig-zag edges, rubber toe cap and leather pull-tabs round out the overall build.
Finished off with subtle branding on the tongue labels aside from the recognizable Swoosh on its side panels, look for this latest variation at select Nike accounts overseas now.
I’m a sucker for runners and I’m instantly a fan of this pair. I like the retro look but I’m just biased because of the timeless colorway. It’s definitely suitable for men as well.

Top 10 Kicks To Watch For In May: Air Jordan 12 Flu Game, Nike Kobe 11 Tinker, Pharrell x adidas
By SoleInsider
Last night, we saw Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets fall to the Miami Heat in a grueling seven-game playoff series. MJ might be old and long retired, but you had to imagine that there was a big part of him that desperately wanted to suit up in the purple and teal to help his team beat the Heat, literally and figuratively. Sadly, those days when MJ wouldn’t even let his team get to a Game 7 are gone and all we have now are our memories and this awesome image of teammate Scottie Pippen surprising MJ at the owner’s suite and showing him some love in a tough time last night, kind of like when he was there for His Airness during the famous Flu Game.
Awww, man, all the feels, right? And those kicks, man, those awesome kicks. They’re coming back this month and as you might expect, is the highlight of May. But there are plenty of heat dropping this month that don’t have a Jumpman on them, so let’s take a look at our picks for the Top 10 Kicks To Watch For In May.

Air Jordan 10 GG Heiress
Nike
Release Date: May 7 Price: $150
The signature piece of the women’s exclusive Jordan Heiress Collection, this pair and another release later on in this countdown is going to have a lot of guy in their emotions. Not just because of the colorway, mind you, but the retail price. At $150, Jordan retros are once again within the realm of reasonable and if this type of pricing can creep its way into the Men’s sizes (it won’t because we’re suckers and we’ll gladly pay $190 for what we want), we will have the #ChicksOnFire to thank.
After the shocking sell out of the Air Jordan 4 PRM Black, it appears that Jordan fans don’t appear to have any limits when it comes to price ceilings. The snakeskin will not have the same broad appeal of a black and white AJ4, but it will have its fans so expect the same result as these kicks will not last long in stores.
Let’s all just hope that Steph is healthy enough to rock these on Mother’s Day like he says he will be. Or he can just rest until the Western Conference Finals and make sure he’s ready for the Spurs. What? You really think Portland or OKC have a chance at this point?
The cool blue of this City Collection release captures the spirit of Los Angeles so well that you almost want to get on your ride and head down to Santa Monica right this moment. Of course, you realize that would take a two hour drive if you’re lucky because traffic is terrible any time of day to Santa Monica and you think better of it. But yeah, Los Angeles!
Arguably the most popular Flyknit Racer style besides last year’s 2.0 release and the original that dropped a few years back, the grey tongue is really the obvious thing that will distinguish which pair you have. Is that key difference a hindrance or not that big of a deal in the long run?
Nike Kobe 11 EM Carpe Diem
Shoe Palace
Release Date: May 21 Price: $160
It’s been a long time since we had a “Carpe Diem” Kobe colorway, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be welcomed back warmly. Now if only it had the same patch as the original on the Kobe 4 had once upon a time…
Pharrell x adidas Elastic Lace-Up
adidas
Release Date: May 5 Price: $105
Hmmm, it’s got the Pharrell co-sign, it looks reminiscent of the Stan Smith and the price and hype are not super high in comparison to say, a Kanye release. With apologies to the ClimaCool 1, this could be the next big thing from adidas Originals. Expect a headline in the future that talks about Pharrell being credited with adidas’ turnaround and Kanye is just for the hypebeasts. Like we didn’t know that already, geez…
Air Jordan 12 GS University Blue
Release Date: May 21 Price: $140
Sorry, guys, but we can’t win them all as this pair are only dropping in smaller sizes. Between this release and the Air Jordan 12 Dynamic Pink earlier this year, the #ChicksOnFire and the kids have been getting plenty of love from Jordan Brand.
Yeah, s**t just got real. Along with the Air Jordan 3 True Blue (Black Friday) or Air Jordan 11 Space Jam (Holidays) that will be dropping later this year, this is one of the must-have retro of 2016. Worn by Michael Jordan during arguably his finest moment sans nubuck and emojis, here’s hoping Jordan Brand made a few million pairs of these so that anybody that wants them can cop them.
Nike Brings Floral Prints To The KD 8 EXT On Mothers Day Weekend
By SoleInsider
Kevin Durant‘s signature Nike Basketball models have always flourished in floral graphics thanks to his Aunt Pearl homages. While KD’s currently lacing up the Nike KD 8 Elite during the postseason’s second round, the Nike KD 8 EXT is wrapping things up nicely with a brand new black and red rose floral printed pair for May 7th. What could be one of the silhouette’s final colorways, the Red Floral aesthetic utilizes a seamless canvas upper, luxurious contrast leather branding, and a clean whie midsole for a simple yet refined look. What do you think of KD’s latest? Check out a detailed look below and stay tuned for more release date updates right here on Sneaker News.
Check out this brand new colorway of the Nike Kobe 11. Dubbed the Nike Kobe 11 Tinker, the colorway of the shoe is created by Tinker Hatfield, the inspiration behind the shoe is said to stem from a certain Air Jordan model we all know and love, the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement. Kobe Bryant has said that it is his favorite Air Jordan ever. Reassuring us that this is in fact a colorway created by Tinker is the dual collaborative signature branding placed on the inside of the tongue.
Juan Carrillo: This will definitely be one of the most talked about colorway on the Kobe 11. I’d like to see more images of the shoe, but from this angle it looks pretty good.
Even More Canvas Nike Air Force 1 High QS Colorways Are Releasing
By SoleInsider
The Nike Air Force 1 High is back in canvas for the perfect springtime installment. Usually, when you think of the warmer months, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic basketball creation comes equipped in the low top iteration, but Nike Sportswear is testing the limits of the high-top tooling for good measure. A classic Concord shade lands on the canvas construction throughout while a pre-aged vintage Sail shade lands on the ankle strap, branding, and midsole for an almost weathered look. Throw in a splash of Team Orange branding on the collar and you have one of the more unique Air Force 1 releases in recent memory. What do you think of the pair? Check out a detailed set of images below and we’ll keep you updated on a stateside release right here on Sneaker News.
