NBA Kicks On Fire: Draymond Green Leads The Way In A Nike HyperRev 2016 PE

The Golden State Warriors are two wins away from repeating as NBA Champions and somehow two-time reigning MVP Stephen Curry has zero chance right now of becoming the Finals MVP. Last year, it was Andre Iguodala who proved to be the difference for the Warriors as he helped curtail enough of LeBron James’ dominance. This year, Draymond Green might be the guy that takes the title away from Steph and fellow Splash Bro Klay Thompson thanks to his brilliant all-around play. In a season in which seemingly every analyst had a hot take on Green’s importance on the Warriors – he’s either underrated or overrated depending on the time ot day – the first-time All-Star has maintained his championship confidence.

Nike seems to believe in Draymond quite a bit, as evidenced by his Nike HyperRev 2016 exclusives. As for the rest of the night in kicks, Steph finally returned to his Under Armour 2.5, Kyrie Irving brought yet another Nike Kyrie 2 exclusive and LeBron James broke out the Nike LeBron 13 Elite.

The Nike Air Max 1 is yet another NSW model to rock the big bold branding on the heel look. Releasing in a few days, let’s take a look at the shoe’s official images.

The shoe comes constructed out of a White leather upper. The White leather is gently contrasted by the Beige and Black hits placed throughout the shoe. The most noteworthy feature on the shoe is without a doubt the large ?8? on the left heel and ?7? on the right heel that represents the year that Nike Air Max 1 released. Slated to drop June 8th for $120, is the Nike Air Max 1 87 a release you’re looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

Again, the bold and large lettering on the heel is not really my style. This is also a shoe I have no interest in.

The Nike SB Blazer Paris Metro Is Now Available For Purchase

NIKE SB BLAZER 1 NIKE SB BLAZER 2 NIKE SB BLAZER 3 NIKE SB BLAZER 4 NIKE SB BLAZER 5 NIKE SB BLAZER 6 NIKE SB BLAZER 7

Teal colored sneakers are a great choice to rock during the warm weather? Are you in need for a fresh new pair? Take a look at the Nike SB Blazer Paris Metro.

Said to be inspired by the colors used on the Paris Metro trains, the shoes upper is made out of a Hyper Jade suede upper. The tonal look of the shoe is broken up by adding hits of White placed on the laces, Nike Swoosh (patent leather) and sole unit. A little bit of Silver is placed on the heel tab to give the shoe some added pop. The shoe also comes with an extra set of Hyper Jade to switch up the look a bit. Available now, pick up a pair of your own at select Nike SB retailers for $100.

Author’s Take

I dig the color scheme, I’m just not the biggest fan of the high-top SB look. It may even look better on a Blazer Low.

Our First Look At The Nike Air Max Pendleton Collection

The pendleton theme once again makes its way to select Nike models. This time around the shoes rocking the pendleton look are the Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Air Max 90. Let’s get a closer look at the upcoming Nike Air Max Pendleton Collection.

Dressed in similar fashion, both models will come with a Black suede and leather upper. The focal point on the shoe is without a doubt the pendleton pattern utilized all over the shoe. Coming in Black, Grey and Brown, the textile pattern beautifully contrasts the tonal look of the shoe. The AM1 comes with the wool pattern on the toe and side panels, whil the AM90 rocks it strictly on the mudguard that goes all around the shoe. Adding a premium touch to the shoe is the Vachetta leather placed on the inner lining. Available now internationally, we will let you know once these arrive in the states.

Author’s Take

I’ve never gotten a pair of sneakers done in a pendleton theme. I really like the look, so I think one of these is going to be my first pair. I’m thinking the AM1 will be the one I’d go with.

The Nike Air Max BW Premium is the latest Nike model to rock the big lettering on the heel. If you’re a fan of that style, the shoe’s official images will give you the shoe’s best look yet.

Coming in a simple White and Black colorway, the shoe is constructed out of a full leather upper nicely offset by the Black hits placed on the Nike Swoosh and the bold branding on the heel. In regards to the heel, a large “B” and “W” is placed on it to represent the name of the model. Suede accents are used as overlays to give the shoe a nice added touch. Releasing on June 8th for $120, is this release on your watch list?

Author’s Take

Not a fan of the large branding on the heel, regardless of what model utilizes it.

More Images Of The Highly Controversial Nike KD 8 SE What The

NIKE KD 8 SE 1 NIKE KD 8 SE 2

To put it mildly, it looks as if the Nike KD 8 SE What The is set to be one of the most talked about sneakers in quite some time. Only problem is that it’s currently being talked about for all the wrong reasons.

Set to release later on this month, the Nike KD 8 is the latest Nike Basketball shoe to get the What The treatment, and it truly has most of us saying “What The”!?. While we still don’t know the theme or “inspiration” behind the shoe, early indications show that the majority of us really don’t like the shoe. It may be the angle of the pictures, or even the lighting, but for the most part the shoe looks as if it was rushed. An array of colors, prints, textures and materials are all used on the shoe to give it the What The theme, but all in all I just feel like there’s no fluidity to the shoe. Whether you like it or not, the shoe is slated to release on June 18th for $200. Is this a cop or drop? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I know it’s a What The themed show, but I just don’t see any continuity or flow on the shoe. I’m very disappointed and I know I’m not the only one.

Rumors Suggest That The Nike Kobe 12 Will Release On January 2017

As we all know by now, Kobe has retired, but his legacy will live on through sneakers. We also know that his signature line of sneakers will continue to release although he won’t be stepping foot on the court. The Nike Kobe 12 would be his next signature and it looks like we know when that shoe will release.

Release info recently leaked suggesting that thet Kobe 12 is expected to arrive at the beginning of January of 2017. Debuting colorways include a Triple Black and a University Red/Black-Total Crimson offering. Also dropping in February is a Paramount Blue/Black-Chlorine Blue pair along with a Green colorway in March. Of course, there are no leaked images yet, but the way things get leaked nowadays, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see them sooner rather than later.

Had these dropped 3 years ago, I’d be all over them. It’s just a matter of a right shoe at the wrong time. I already have way too many Roshe Runs in my closet.

LeBron James once again brought out an older signature model of his as he was recently seen getting ready for Game 2. During yesterday’s practice, LeBron James was spotted rocking a Nike LeBron 4 PE coming in an all-Red colorway done in metallic fashion. The fact that we haven’t seen this shoe for quite some time and that it comes in an all-Red colorway makes this shoe a head turner. Do you think he’d wear these during an actual game? What other retro model do you think he will bust out for future practices? Let us know your prediction in the comments below.

First Look At The Nike Kyrie 2 4th of July

Prepare yourselves, with 4th of July less than a month away, a plethora of patriotic sneaker releases are on the horizon. Nike Basketball is getting in the mix this year and one of the first shoes being shown is the Nike Kyrie 2 4th of July.

The USA-themed colorway comes in a White upper accompanied by the Royal cross-strap and hits or Red placed on the tongue tag and Nike Swoosh placed on the White midsole. The model you see above is said to be that of a GS variant, so there’s a good possibility that the men’s version may be slightly altered.  Said to be dropping on July 2nd for $120, stick with us as more information on the shoe is soon to follow.

Author’s Take

Not too bad for a 4th of July shoe. If it was up to me, I’d get rid of the White upper and make it either Red or Blue. That’s just me though.

Draymond Green isn’t the only Warrior with a Nike PE. Iggy was also recently blessed with his own two colorways of the Nike Hyperlive. Let’s take a look at both iterations of the Nike Hyperlive Andre Iguodala PE.

The low-top sneaker comes in two different colorways resembling the home and away colors of Iggy’s Golden State Warriors. Giving the shoe its “PE” touch are the “AI” logo hits placed on the tongues. Author’s Take

Dope to see Iguodala get his own PE, but I’m not a big fan of the silhouette. Regardless, I think this is the closest Iguodala will ever get to having a Nike signature sneaker.

Nike Olympic Runner Doesnt Want To Stop Wearing New Balance Sneakers

Olympic runner, Boris Berian had a contract with Nike that made him an official Nike athlete. This exclusive endorsement agreement prevents the runner from wearing New Balance sneaker or any other brands that aren’t Nike. The issue here is that the potential U.S. Olympican prefers to wear New Balance sneakers over Nike sneakers.

The Nike deal started last June and was meant to last until December of 2015. The issue here is that the deal gave Nike the opportunity to start a new deal with Berian if it was able to match a competitor’s offer. This January New Balance linked up with Berian and made him an offer he could not refuse. Problem is that Nike ended up matching the deal. Things got messy when Berian’s agent said that Berian “expressed an interest not to resume a relationship with Nike, but was also willing to entertain a revised offer.”

On late January, Berian was seen wearing New Balance sneakers to more then a few events and even started using “#NBrunning” hashtags on his social media platforms. Of course, Nike took notice of this and is now stating that they will “suffer irreparable harm” if Berian is allowed to wear New Balance during major upcoming events like the upcoming Olympic Games. How do you think this is going to end? What will Berian be wearing at the Olympics? Keep your eyes peeled!
