The new Nike Air Huarache Ultra continues to receive more colorways this season, as the latest consists of the popular and iconic gym red/black finish.

While it stays true to its original design ethos, this particular take is updated with modern technology such as perforated foam and mesh throughout its upper, as well as a midsole-outsole combo for enhanced breathability and lightweight comfort.

Further detailed with the distinctive elastic strap and rubber cage on the heel to solidify its signature aesthetic, hits of jade are also found on the tongue, insoles and rear for a complementing contrast.

Topped off with a white sole unit, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers nationwide and online now for $120.

Although Kevin Durant was a member of the Texas Longhorns, the Duke Blue Devils has received a special variation of the Nike KD 9 PE for the upcoming season.

Essentially covered in the university’s signature colors — black dominates its flyknit upper, while royal blue accents are prominent on the inner lining, laces and midsole unit. Finally, contrasting white accents adorn the Swoosh and KD logos, as more respective branding is seen on the heel pull tabs.

It’s uncertain if this rendition of the silhouette will be available to the public, but, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for more updates.

Lifestyle images of the newly-introduced Nike Air Max 95 Ultra SE in gym red/black are now showcased, as the revamped runner has now arrived at retailers.

Defined by foam and mesh build across its seamless upper to promote a more lightweight and comfortable profile, the silhouette is also punctured with perforations along its eye stays for sufficient ventilation as well. An exposed flywire system in contrasting black evokes a deconstructed vibe, as it all rests atop a full-length black sole unit.

Select Nike retailers overseas have this pair available for purchase now, but, its arrival stateside is expected very soon.

Nike Brings Triple Black To The Lunar Flow Leather

The Nike Air Flow was as futuristic a release as any when it first dropped back in the late-80s. The neoprene mesh construction was ahead of its time and as relevant as ever once it got the patented Tier Zero retro treatment back in 2012. What many didn’t expect was for Nike Sportswear to revamp the iconically vibrant offering with a modern Lunarlon tooling known as the Nike Lunar Flow. Premium lifestyle renditions even hit retailers featuring a perforated leather upper that fit more in-line with office dress codes than athletic wear.

The added comfort was a hit and flawlessly blended retro sensibilities with the latest Nike running technology. Today we get a look at the latest Lunar Flow Leather edition in the ever-popular “Triple Black” colorway. The simple yet ominous vibe pairs a perforated synthetic leather with tumbled leather overlays to add some quality control for those paying attention. The perforations might add some ventilation but this pair won’t compete in the breathability department when compared to the original. What does stand out though is the Lunarlon cushioning paired with a luxurious leather upper.

Expect this all-black-everything Nike Lunar Flow release to drop in the coming weeks.

It’s Elephant print to me! Haha. Whatever it is, it’s cool. If these drop in price closer to $60, I’d be down to pick up a pair.

It’s a clean colorway for the Summer and for the Fall season. It’s a bit bold, but the accent colorway tones it down a bit.

Author’s Take

It’s a good-looking Kobe 11. A few changes I’d make on the shoe would be to make the embroidery on the heel a contrasting color, while also doing the same thing for the Kobe logo on the tongue.

Nike Made Ken Griffey Jr. Custom Dress Shoes For Hall of Fame Induction

Along with Ken Griffey Jr.’s heartfelt speech, one of the most memorable aspects of the legendary player’s recent Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony was his custom made suit. Griffey was styling like no Hall of Famer before him with a specially made outfit for the occasion, featuring “Hall of Fame Class Of 2016” text forming pinstripes down the suit and a golden tie complete with his Swingman logo stitched in. With a recent share on his Instagram account, we now learn that there was even more happening with his Hall of Fame outfit that day, as Griffey shows off his custom Nike dress shoes. Looking like any old pair of brown leather dress shoes from afar, you can see they actually feature Swooshes embossed on each toe and Nike logos on each insole. We assume these will remain exclusive to Griffey himself, so good luck for any of you hardcore fans hoping to score a pair.

Welcome Back The Nike Zoom Flight 96 Carbon Fiber

After releasing the OG Olympic colorway of the Nike Zoom Flight 96 last month, Nike continues to give us more colorways of the retro hooping sneaker.

Making its return next is the colorway that we see above which many people refer to as the Carbon Fiber pair. Last seen in 2014, this colorway of the Zoom Flight 96 features a Black nubuck upper with carbon fiber panels, white accents on the branding and midsole, and an icy blue translucent outsole.

The carbon fiber panels are a nice touch on this colorway. I think I like this pair better than the OG Olympic version.

The Nike Air Max Plus Satin Pack has been unveiling colorways from the pack over the last few weeks. The latest version to be added is the all-Blue colorway you see above. Let’s take a closer look at the shoe.

Just as the name of the pack suggests, the shoe is constructed out of a Satin material to help distinguish itself from the mesh and plastic overlays we’re used to seeing on this model. A tonal Nike Swoosh appears on the side panels,  embossed detailing and tonal stitching also appears on the upper. In addition, the shoe also comes with an off-White midsole and gum bottom outsole. This women’s colorway of the Air Max Plus is now available internationally. Cop or not?

Author’s Take

The satin construction looks good on the shoe. I know it’s a “women’s” colorway, but I’d be down to pick up a pair.
