Nike Mag Sells For $200,000 In NYC Auction
By SoleInsider
The final Nike Mag auction came to a close in NYC, with the final bid garnering a whopping $200,000 at the Michael J. Fox Gala. The first live auction in Shanghai ended at $105,000, while the second auction in London brought in roughly half that amount at $56,000. We expected this auction to sell for high amounts given the fact that this was the last of three live auctions of the self-lacing shoes. Some of the 89 winners who won pairs through the Nike Drawing have sold their pairs on eBay, with some units going for as high as $52,000.
While its release date online at Nike is set for later this month, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 in a Wheat/Flax theme has been arriving at select retailers nationwide ahead of schedule.
Elevated with more lifestyle appeal, the sneaker?s entire suede upper has been doused in a tan finish, while it?s offset against a crisp white rubber sole unit to create an aesthetically pleasing two-tone color scheme overall. Distinguishable details include a signature ankle strap for additional support, as well as displaying Ken Griffey Jr.?s jersey number ?24?, which reflects his tenure with the Seattle Mariners.
Priced at $150, you can buy a pair at select Nike stockists now.

Nike N7 Honors Native American Heritage Month On The Hardwood
By SoleInsider
Alongside the Spirit of Protection Collection, Nike N7 continues to celebrate Native American Heritage Month by partnering with nine colleges (across men’s and women’s programs).
During select men and women?s basketball games throughout November and December, Florida State, Gonzaga, Haskell Indian Nations University (the only all-native school in the country), Nevada, New Mexico, Marquette, Oklahoma State, San Diego State and Stanford will each wear N7-inspired turquoise uniforms.
In case you were not aware, the color turquoise represents harmony, friendship and fellowship in Native American culture.
Each school will also initiate its own outreach to local Native communities, including basketball camps at Gonzaga, Marquette and Nevada; a Native youth spring field day at Oklahoma State; and Seminole Tribe of Florida youth programs with Florida State.
San Diego State works with N7 Fund grantee Inter Tribal Sports to highlight its Native youth sports program, hosting a basketball camp in the spring. Additionally, the New Mexico men?s and women?s teams auction their uniforms, with the proceeds going to local Native American youth organizations.
The Nike N7 initiative essentially inspires fellow Native American and Aboriginal youth in North America to participate in sport and physical activity, raises awareness and demystifies stereotypes about Native American culture, as well as to encourage resilience against adversity.

The performance basketball sneaker flaunts the stealthy black hue across the majority of its upper, distinctive strap system and midsole unit, while the focal point is directed at its red suede toe box. The vibrant hue is further applied on the entire outsole, along with accents on the tongue and heel via branding to cap off the respective theme.
Topped off with reflective swooshes, this pair is suggested to debut at select Nike retailers starting December 3 for $130.
One of the best colorways on the silhouette this season. This style has been receiving solid iterations as of late, but, you can?t go wrong with this classic palette.

By SoleInsider
More colorways of the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility are on the horizon as the new sneakerboot from Nike made its retail debut in a handful of colorways last week.
One of those colorways that we can expect to release in the near future is this tan pair which comes covered in a water-resistant material all throughout upper in the aforementioned hue. Ladies can look for this colorway of the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility to arrive at select Nike Sportswear retailers in the near future.
The Air Presto Mid Utility has my attention. I’d like to see these in person and try them on to find out how they feel on-feet. I’d consider picking up a pair in the right colorway.
This LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 has taken the tonal route and comes covered in Midnight Navy all throughout the mesh upper as well as on the suede detailing on the toebox. The Swoosh logos on the ankle and the LeBron logo on the midfoot strap have both also been done in Midnight Navy. Subtle hits of Game Royal complete this colorway along with an icy blue translucent outsole.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Midnight Navy at select Nike retailers beginning on November 15th for $140.

Make the branding on the upper a different color like white or gold and these would have looked much better. There’s just too much blue.

The next sneaker in the Nike SB Dunk shoebox series has been unveiled with the Nike SB Dunk Low Pink Box.

This colorway of the popular SB Dunk Low features a pink upper that has reflective 3M qualities all throughout with White accents on the laces, inner liner, and midsole. Lots of great SB Dunk released when this pink box was around so I expect hardcore SB fans to pick up this pair. I’m not a hue fanof pink sneakers so I’ll pass on these and wait to see what the next pair looks like.
The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 will always be the certified GOAT of baseball cleats turned athletic sneakers. To be honest, it has a cap hold on that market because of Griffey’s “The Kid” persona dominating the sport throughout the 1990s. We probably won’t see another baseball star with the charisma and marketing appeal that Jr. Griffey had. His famous first model to make its way to retail shelves in the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 has received a number of retro offerings throughout 2016 thanks to the legendary Swingman model’s 20th anniversary coinciding with Griffey’s Hall of Fame induction. Now the autumn-themed Nike Griffey Max 1 Wheat is available for purchase today. What do you think of the Flax Griffey 1? Grab your pair today via Politics for $150 USD.
Nike continues to push the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 as LeBron James has been wearing the sneaker ever since last season’s playoffs.

This colorway of the LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 features a White mesh on the majority of the upper with Hyper Cobalt detailing on the ankle strap, Swoosh branding on the medial and lateral ankles, the LeBron logo on the midfoot strap, and the speckling that is seen on the bottom two straps. It’s surprising to see how Nike continues to push the LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 instead of the LeBron 13. I’m sure none of us could have even imagined this would happen.
Nike Skateboarding’s shoe-box inspired Dunk series continues with perhaps the most anticipated of the bunch. The pink box from 2005, widely considered one of Nike’s most stylish shoeboxes ever, has transformed itself into the SB Dunk Low, with a reflective pink upper, black swooshes, and the shoe-box logo debossed into the heel. These are said to release on Black Friday, so check out additional photos below and let us know if these are the best of the shoebox Dunks.
The ACONRYM Nike Presto Utility was perhaps Nike Sportswear’s best collaborative effort of the year thanks to the conceptual design that we’ve come to anticipate from the German imprint. For those of you that missed out on the limited run, Nike Sportswear still plans on dropping new general release colorways of the Nike Air Presto Mid Utility throughout the Fall/Winter 2016 season and beyond with a new women’s exclusive colorway.
This Nike Presto Mid Utility features another monochromatic option in a tan shade known as “String” while Reflect Silver elements land on the tongue and heel tabs. Of course, the additional ankle support is accompanied by a new zipper for easy slip-on access for that ACRONYM-like look while a weather-resistant upper and traditional cage overlay bring a new spin on the retro classic with functional waterproofing. Check out more details below and be on the lookout for this women’s exclusive Nike Presto Mid Utility to arrive at retailers in the near future.
