NikeLab Chicago Opens Today
By SoleInsider
Tokyo?s new NikeLab MA5 just opened its doors yesterday, which consisted as the seventh NikeLab flagship worldwide.
Now, the eighth location is situated on the top floor of Nike Chicago. The new NikeLab CHI store opens with the highly anticipated release of the NikeLab ACG outerwear collection.
Drawing inspiration from the ACG collection itself, the interior of the retail store was specifically designed to showcase sport style in the Windy City. Hanging display racks open up the space and nod directly to the strap systems of the NikeLab ACG Alpine Jacket, System Blazer and Funnel Hoody.
If you’re near the area, visit NikeLab CHI starting today, December 2 at 669 N Michigan Ave.
Last offered in 2009, the Nike Air Zoom Tallac Lite has been resurrected to suit the harsh winter season ahead.
Defined by its hybrid utilitarian design which combines the rugged construction of a hiking boot and responsive cushioning of a dynamic shoe — the model bears an injected TPU and textile upper that offers superb comfort as well as support.
Draped in an official palette of Pure Platinum/Blue Lagoon/Black/Deep Night — the model is further detailed with a gusseted tongue that sits comfortably at your ankle, pull tabs at tongue and heel, a rubber outsole for durable traction.
Retailing for $180, you can purchase this latest iteration at select Nike retailers and online now.
I’ve always liked the blended design. The utilitarian aesthetic is appealing in general and the model is functional as well as stylish. It’s nice to see it being offered once again.
Bluecap Highlights This Latest Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Essential
By SoleInsider
To kick-off the last month of the year, the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Essential is offered in a new colorway of Light Bone/Bluecap.
Unlike its traditional counterpart, the modernized runner inherits a no-sew synthetic upper that is covered in light bone, while a patterned bluecap overlay along its mudguard complements the overall profile.
Additional contrasting elements are black swooshes and gold leaf gracing the inner lining and branding on the rear. Finally, a clean white midsole unit and floral printed insoles finishes off its design.
You can find this pair at select Nike retailers now for a price tag of $120.
Recently offered in camo iterations and with the Linen now returning, more exclusive variations of the classic Nike Air Force 1 Low continue to revealed.
The latest women’s AF1 has been updated with faux pony hair upper detailing and a durable outsole for a sleek, yet lifestyle-inspired look. Draped in the ubiquitous triple black color scheme to suit everyday wear and overall versatility, the model is topped off with tonal leather branding for the swooshes and tongue tab.
Retailing for $160, you can purchase this blacked-out pair at select Nike retailers and online starting today.
You really can’t go wrong with this silhouette. It’s definitely suitable for all genders even though it’s officially listed for women. I’m a fan of the stealthy makeover.
The last time we covered any kind of information regarding the Nike LeBron 14 was a couple months ago when we let you know that the 14th Nike LeBron signature shoe would be making its debut sometime during the month of January (2017). We’re now one month away from the new year and the info on the shoe is still at a minimum.
This is what we know so far.
The Nike LeBron 14 will release in January
It is being reported that it will retail at $175
That’s about it. We had initially thought that this was the Nike LeBron 14, but this latest info coming out of ESPN proves that that is not the case.
Dave McMenamin from ESPN recently reported that LeBron James was warming up in an all-black pair of LeBron 14?s during a shootaround in Cleveland this morning. As soon as LeBron saw the reporters he was quick to take off the shoes before any kind of pictures were taken. McMenamin stated that the shoe LeBron was wearing was not the shoe we initially thought was the LeBron 14. Reason being, the one he got glance at came with a strap. Being that LeBron favors his strap-equipped LeBron Soldier model, it would not be a surprise to see that the LeBron 14 could also come equipped with a strap.
This is what McMenamin had to say about what he saw.
?LeBron James wore an all black pair of the yet-to-be-released Nike LeBron 14 to shootaround Thursday but took them off before talking to the press so reporters couldn?t snap photos of them. They don?t look like the images that leaked in August at all. James let ESPN.com inspect them, as long as we promised not to take a photo, and they are very sharp. One clue to what to expect when they drop in January: strap.?
Tokyo?s new NikeLab MA5 store opened its doors for the first time today. This was Nike’s seventh NikeLab flagship location. As of right now, it’s the newest Nike premium sub-branch that offers the latest product innovations and collaborative collections, but it won’t be for long since a NikeLab in Chicago is also in the works.
Set to be the 8th location since NikeLab launched back in June 2014, it is being reported that the grand opening will actually be tomorrow, Friday, December 2nd. Just like all the other NikeLab stores, it will be home to all things NikeLab. Details are currently kept at a minimum, but we suggest you tune in to Nike Chicago?s Twitter feed for more info on the stores grand opening.

Heres An Official List Of The 2016 Nike Mag Winners
By SoleInsider
The winners of the 2016 auto lacing Nike Mag were announced in mid-October and if you entered the raffle you were probably glued to your phone for a couple of hours that day awaiting that notification on the Nike+ app. But unfortunately very few people received good news as there were only 89 pairs made available. Three pairs were auctioned off to charity, so that means that there was supposed to be 86 pairs won through the raffle system.
The company that ran the raffle through Nike’s The Draw is required to make the list of winners public and we have the names of the winners here for you. The strange thing is that there’s only 81 names, so there’s five pairs that are unaccounted for. Here is the official list of winners.

This year Nike ACG introduces one of their most advanced and beefiest boots ever, the Zoom Tallac Flyknit. Since it’s inspired by the original Zoom Tallac Lite, it looks like they’ve decided to bring the OG model back, as well. Originally released in 2008, the once popular ACG model that’s faded into obscurity a bit gets a whole new life this winter with the return of the OG as well as the impressive new Flyknit version.
The Zoom Tallac Lite OG in Pure Platinum, with black and blue accents is available now at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com.

Not much information is available yet when it comes to the colors or theme of the Kyrie 2 What The, but more details should be unveiled as we near the December 12th release date. What are your early thoughts on the Nike Kyrie 2 What The? Let us know below and stay tuned for updates.
Classics Unboxed: Parras Nike Air Max 1 Amsterdam Paid Homage To The Citys Infamous Underbelly
By SoleInsider
Dutch artist Parra’s Nike Air Max 1 “Amsterdam” collaboration remains one of the most sought after collaborative renditions of Tinker Hatfield’s iconic 1987 visible air runner. Sure, the Parra x Patta x Air Max 1 may be a league above Parra’s individual pair, but this Burgundy, Pink, and Turquoise Blue banger displays Parra’s unique sensibilities and remains to be a true classic.
Initially, this pair was supposed to be inspired by Amsterdam supermarket chain Albert Heijn, until a simple rebrand forced the Dutch self-taught illustrator to ditch that theme for a more vague homage to the city’s infamous nightlife scene and the Red Light District.
Every Thursday we’ll be bringing you new Classics Unboxed heat to bring back some of our favorite collaborations, unearth untold stories about some of the craziest campouts before the days of online launches, and focus on the never before seen details of your holy grails.
Check out our latest installment featuring the Parra’s Nike Air Max 1 “Amsterdam” from 2005 and stay up to date on the latest and greatest right here on Sneaker News.
