The Nike Aptare Essential Is The Latest From The Swoosh

NIKE APTARE ESSENTIAL 1 NIKE APTARE ESSENTIAL 2 NIKE APTARE ESSENTIAL 3 NIKE APTARE ESSENTIAL 4

Nike is proud to introduce their brand new silhouette. Dubbed the Nike Aptare Essential, has that same laid back, casual style and feel that worked so well for the Roshe Run a few years ago. Let’s get a closer look at this upcoming model.

The Nike Aptare Essential opts for a laceless design consisting of a drawstring lacing enclosure essentially making it a slip-on sneaker. The shape is very similar to a Roshe, while the toe  box appears to be inspired by the Sock Dart as the mesh constructed upper comes equipped with a synthetic strip for added protection and durability. Branding-wise, a “NIKE” hit is imprinted on the heel cage in tonal fashion. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

It kind of looks like a swimming shoe, don’t you think? It’s a cool idea, but I really don’t see myself wearing these at any time.

The Nike Metcon 3 is the latest version of one of Nike’s most beloved trainers that they have to offer. This time around, Nike will release two different versions of the shoe: The Nike Metcon 3 and the Nike Metcon DSK Flyknit. Based off the name alone, it’s safe to say that one will come with a Flyknit upper and the other won’t.

The regular Nike Metcon 3 is lighter and more flexible than ever, an ideal design for strength drills and high intensity cardio sessions. The Flyknit is also just as good, the only difference is that it comes equipped with the aforementioned woven upper. Both pairs will have features such as a dual-density outsole, an elevated 4mm offset (Nike Metcon 3) or 6mm offset (Flyknit version), and a drop-on articulated cushioning system that adds comfort while working out.

Release details are as follows. The Nike Metcon 3 will debut on NIKEiD on December 19th, and release on January 5th. The Nike Metcon 3 DSX Flyknit will release on Nike.com on January 2nd.

Previously expected to drop later this week, the release date for the Nike Air Foamposite One Royal has been pushed back to 2017.

This makes plenty of sense since the silhouette won’t officially celebrate its 20th anniversary until next year, so pushing the release back a few weeks would be a proper way to celebrate. The new release date for the OG Royal Foamposites is now scheduled for January 13, 2017. Retail price will be $230. This will be a great way for Nike to kick off the 20th anniversary of the Foamposite One, with the pair that started it all.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Is Back In A Classic Combination Of Black/Gum

With all of the technological advancements that Nike Skateboarding is championing on the likes of their latest batch of signatures (think the Nike SB Koston 3 Hyperfeel, for example with all of its Flyknit and lifestyle touches throughout) there’s still nothing quite like a classic. What exactly is the blue Ribbon Studio, you may be asking? Nike Air Foamposite One XX Royal Releases Next Month

Those of you hoping to grab the Nike Foamposite Royal 20th Anniversary edition this weekend will have to wait just a little while longer, as the release date is now January 13th, 2017 for $230 USD. Perhaps Eric Avar’s most profound basketball design, the Nike Air Foamposite One was made famous by Penny Hardaway and a college Mike Bibby (he broke them out during his NCAA March Madness run in 1997 despite the Royal Blue shade being a bit lighter than his Arizona uniform).

The Nike Air Foamposite One XX OG “Dark Neon” has been a groundbreaking release in the past with a cult-following in certain cities – just listen to basically any Wale song to hear the DMV native talk about the model’s importance throughout Washington D.C. The Nike Air Foamposite One will see a number of other OG colorways release throughout 2017 in honor of the model’s 20th Anniversary, so what other pairs do you want to see hit retailers? Check out more detailed shots below and head over to our Release Dates page for an updated look at all the coming attractions.

The Nike Air Footscape Woven NM returns in a vibrant autumnal finish of desert ochre/gold dart this season, which was last featured in a more traditional palette of black/white.

Defined by its deconstructed upper that exudes lifestyle appeal, smooth suede dominates the majority of its profile alongside the distinctive woven textile overlay encompassing the silhouette’s entirety. Finally, a crisp white natural motion sole unit with black accents on the heel round out its overall build.

You can find this pair at select Nike retailers overseas now for $180, while a stateside release is imminent.

Official imagery of the Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 Urban Haze has released, and it’ll also be seen on the upcoming Air Max Uptempo and Air Max Uptempo 2 silhouettes.

As with all variations, the classic basketball sneaker is essentially defined by its dark olive hue across its smooth suede and mesh upper. The militaristic-inspired color scheme is juxtaposed against a sail white-colored rubber sole unit with its signature design details, and air-bubbled enhanced heel unit to solidify as well as complement its overall composition.

Look for this pair to debut at select Nike retailers very soon.

Nike Air Footscape Woven Desert

The Nike Air Footscape Woven turned heads over the summer when two classic “Rainbow” renditions released showcasing the unique woven side panel in a vibrant array of primary colors. Nike Sportswear isn’t done with the strange retro silhouette either, as a new Nike Air Footscape Woven Desert colorway is now available at select international retailers featuring a monochromatic mustard-esque yellow perfect for Spring 2017.

The Nike Air Footscape Woven has always benefited from touches of premium suede throughout, and here the ribbon ties get a matching Desert Ochre accent while retro ‘Nike’ branding is scribed in black cursive on the heel. The natural motion-esque outsole unit is hit with an off-white Sail hue to keep the lifestyle look intact.
