Matte Silver Suede On The Latest Nike Air Huarache

If you’re a fan of Nike Sportswear (who isn’t?) then there’s probably a pretty good chance that you own a pair or two of Huaraches in your collection.

After seeing a plethora of colorways release the last couple of years, Nike has slowed down a bit as they shift their focus to other silhouettes. But that doesn’t mean that they’re abandoning the Tinker Hatfield-designed runner. One of the latest pairs to drop is this Matte Silver pair we see above which comes covered in a premium suede throughout the majority of the upper with neoprene detailing on the tongue/inner bootie. Down below we have a contrasting black rubber sole unit.

Is this Matte Silver colorway of the Air Huarache a cop or a drop? Let us know in the comments below.

Paul George Recently Wore A Brand New Colorway Of Nike PG 1

Paul George is the face of the Indiana Pacers franchise, which is why you should expect a handful of future Nike PG 1 colorways to rock the Blue and Gold motif. Earlier this week Paul George was seen wasting no time in debuting one of those said colorways.

This new colorway of the Nike PG 1 comes in Pacers team colors as the majority of the shoe comes in a Midnight Navy Blue upper offset by the Varsity Maize hits noted on the branding. Another feature on the shoe is the outsole that comes with a transparent overlay to cover the additional Yellow underneath.

Another thing worth mentioning is that this colorway of the PG 1 appears to come in a different construction compared to the 2K colorway we saw last week. Although it’s hard to tell from the images above, but it does look like this pair boasts a suede like upper. Thoughts on the new colorway? Stay tuned as more release info on the Nike PG 1 is sure to follow.

Official Images Of The Nike LeBron 14 Black Ice

LeBron James debuted the LeBron 14 in a win over the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day, and even though the Warriors got their revenge on Monday night in a blowout victory, LeBron and the Cavs didn’t seem too worried about it. Perhaps it’s knowing that there’s still half of the regular season to be played that made them shrug off the loss so easily – and that only means will be treated to more colorways of the Nike LeBron 14 on-court. Today we get a look at official imagery of the first retail release of LeBron’s latest signature sneaker with the introduction of the Nike LeBron 14 Black Ice due out on January 28th, 2017 for $175 USD.

The Nike LeBron 14 Black Ice is as simple a debut colorway as they come thanks to a seamless slip-on black base featuring the latest in Nike’s engineered laser perforation. A midfoot strap returns featuring a unique texture complete with Swoosh branding while the outsole makes use of maximum volume Zoom Air units. What results is a LeBron signature that sheds any extra weight, skipping out on the usual Posite technology that’s been such a strong asset in past LeBron releases. What do you think of the model?

Stay tuned for an official unveiling of the LeBron 14 Black Ice in the near future, grab your pair on January 28th, 2017 for $175 USD, and stay tuned for more of the latest LeBron updates right here on Sneaker News.

University Red Highlights This New Nike Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit

The successor to the Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit is introduced this year with an Ultra 2.0 edition.

Further modernizing the iconic runner, this particular rendition dons a breathable flyknit build draped in university red and black threading, while tonal black synthetic overlays are implemented on the mudguard and Swooshes. Additional black is utilized for the tongue and laces, as it’s all adhered atop a more comfy foam sole unit in white as well.

A bit leeker and more lightweight than its predecessor, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers overseas first, while a stateside release is imminent.

NBA 2K17 Kicks: Air Jordan 13 Black Cat, Nike Kyrie 3 vs. Under Armour Curry 3

This is Michael Jordan wearing the Air Jordan 13 Black Cat, this weekend’s noteworthy Jordan drop. Along with the shoe, His Airness was going to be the focus of this week’s edition of NBA 2K17 Kicks. We were going to talk about how cool it was that Jordan Brand was finally going to release a true murdered out colorway of one of their more iconic (note: I’m a noted Air Jordan 13 hater, but I still recognize it’s significance, no matter how baffling it might be to my brain) silhouettes and how The Black Cat moniker takes on an extra significance with the 13. But something weird happened along the way to making the shoe. Once it was time to take screenshots of MJ and the Black Cat 13s though, it felt flat, like we could be doing more this week than just posting an all-black pair of kicks…

So we did more. This past Monday on MLK Day, we had an NBA Finals rematch between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. That game featured two players in the year 3 of their signature shoe history in the Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry so instead of just focusing on the past with MJ we took a look at the league’s present and future with the Nike Kyrie 3 and Under Armour Curry 3.

For Kyrie, we didn’t want to go down a similar path with the Black Cat by just creating an all-black pair of Kyrie 3s so we did a little projecting and imagined what a potential Kyrie 3 Finals PE would look like. He’s worn similar treatments of Wine Red/Gold-White in the past two Finals. They look great in the shoe editor, but kind of miss the mark in the actual game because the metallic option doesn’t translate once again.

As for Steph, we tried to recreate the special Curry 3 “Back2Back Terms” PE that he wore in honor of his (STILL) President Barack Obama. As you might imagine, we couldn’t get the Presidential seal in the game, but other than that, it’s a close approximation of the real thing save for a few minor details.
