Yesterday, Paul George’s Nike PG 1 signature sneaker finally made its debut beginning with the Nike PG 1 Pre-Heat (Shining) you see above. This particular colorway was said to be limited to only 12,000 pairs. Foot Locker and Nike sold out, were you one of the lucky ones who were able to get a pair?

Coming in an all-Black (almost) upper, the low-top, Zoom Air equipped basketball sneaker has a design in which the forefoot comes with a mesh build that makes it very unrestricted, whereas the rear section appears to be more supportive and structural as materials such as nubuck take care of the region. Voted winner of Nike’s 2016 ?Vote Back? campaign, which essentially allows fans to vote and bring back one iconic Air Max silhouette from the past 29 years — official images of the exclusive Nike Air Max 1 Atmos Elephant is now revealed.

With its distinctive style helmed by atmos head designer, the classic runner was originally seen back in 2006 as part of a “Zoo Pack”, and this forthcoming variation will essentially stay true to its original aesthetic. A palette mixed with black, clear jade and white dominate its composition, while the focal point is directed at the collar section and mudguard with elephant print overlays, in addition to jade branding on the tongue and side panels.

While a release date has not been confirmed yet, the sneaker is suggested to debut on Air Max Day (March 26) or earlier.
