Jordan Brand will be celebrating the upcoming March Madness tournament with a handful of Air Jordan 31 Lows that release next week. Now Nike has decided to join in on the fun, but with a much more versatile option.

The Swoosh has added a new feature on NIKEiD that allows you to customize a couple of their most popular silhouettes with the team colors and logos of 13 of the biggest Nike schools. The sneaker options include the Nike Air Force 1 Low, Mid, and High, as well as the Nike Dunk Low and High.

The 13 schools that you can pick from are Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oregon, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas, Villanova, and West Virginia.

Nike’s annual “Be True” collection supporting the LGBT community is looking very promising this year, as we get a first look at a colorful Flyknit Racer that will be included in the set. Sure to cause just as much if not even more of a stir than the Be True Sock Dart in 2015, the Flyknit Racer features a black and white upper similar to the OG black and white colorway for the shoe, but with the obvious addition of rainbow-colored Swooshes, as well as “Be True” logos on each tongue. Happy March! As busy as February always is in the sneaker release department, Nike Sportswear has been bringing the goods for the past couple of years with their Air Max Day celebration turning into an extravaganza for the entire month. This year marks the 30th anniversary of visible air since the release of Tinker Hatfield’s iconic Nike Air Max 1 creation in 1987. With that, Nike will be bringing both original colorways back in the near future with the Nike Air Max 1 OG Sport Red slated to arrive this Saturday, March 4th, 2017 for $140 USD complete with the original box and an additional sneaker bag to match.

The Air Max 1 OG Sport Red will be incredibly sought after given the historic implications of the pair, and the good news is a number of retailers worldwide will be stocking the icon in the near future. March is all about Air Max, as Nike plans on dropping a ton of appetizers in various forms leading up to the debut of the VaporMax on March 26th. There will most certainly be random surprise drops along the way, but this Air Max 97 for women has us scratching our heads…because it’s priced at $400. Officially dubbed the Air Max 97 LX, this new sneaker keeps it basic with an all-black upper built with nylon materials and a unique splatter treatment. The sole is nothing new, as Nike recycles the original Air Max 97 mold for this release. So what about this shoe demands a $400 price-tag? We really don’t know and these photos don’t make anything all that evident, but if you want ’em, UNDFTD is stocking them now.

The atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Retro is scheduled to release on March 18th in Europe. Retailers have confirmed this date as the official drop date for this historic Air Max 1. The shoes originally released in 2007 and after a huge voting event during Air Max Day 2016, Nike answered the call of the people and confirmed a release for 2017. A U.S. release date has yet to be confirmed, but for our readers in Europe, mark your calendars for March 18th.

Air Max Day 2017 is all about the Air Max 1. It makes perfect sense to honor the first-ever visible Air Max shoe this year, because this Tinker-penned design is celebrating 30 years of groundbreaking technology and cultural importance. Among all the must-have AM1 drops that are arriving from now through March 26th (the atmos Retro, the Masters of Air, and the OG bringbacks), Nike is dropping an Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 “Air Max Day” with the date of the made-up holiday placed on the tongue. These are reminiscent of the first-ever Air Max Day release back in 2014, when Nike dropped a volt-soled version of the OG 1s with 3.26 on the tongue.

The Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 “Air Max Day” is set to release on March 16th, 2017.

It’s going to be a big month for the Air Max 1, with not only this version with a black leather base and a greatest hits collection of colors and patterns wrapping the mudguard, but also the two most iconic original colorways in red and blue also hitting the shelves. Entitled, “Golden Age”, the iconic runner has been revamped with a breathable and formfitting flyknit construction in black/gold threading. Ladies, take a look at the brand new Nike Air Max Plus TN Ultra done in Glacier Blue. If you’re not too familiar with this model, it’s a modernized version of the classic Air Max Plus that made its debut back in 1998.

The Nike Air Max Plus TN Ultra manages to keep much of the design on the upper we’re used to seeing on the Air Max Plus. The only major difference is the swapping of the sole in favor of one with Ultra construction. The Ultra sole in return makes the shoe lighter and more comfortable than its predecessor. The mesh upper comes in Glacier Blue while the signature TPU overlays are done in a contrasting white. Miniature Black swooshes across the side panels round out the aesthetics of the shoe.
