Following the successful re-release of its French Blue iteration, as well as the extremely limited edition Wings, this iconic colorway of the Air Jordan 12 is set to arrive soon.
Originally seen in 1997, this particular palette garnered its fame during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz, as MJ wore the pair while playing with flu-like symptoms.
With its last retro being in 2009, that previous pair strayed from its original build, while this forthcoming variation is essentially a remastered edition of its 1997 counterpart.
Composed premium tumbled leather, black graces the upper, tongue and inner lining, while bright red is implemented on the forefoot, outsole and rear portion. Additional red accents are evident on the tongue with more branding as well as on the pull tabs.
Retailing for $190, this standout pair at scheduled to drop at select Nike and JB accounts on May 28th.
