Flight has always been a theme for ‘Air’ Jordan models given Mike’s legendary high-flying ability in the earlier seasons of his illustrious career, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that the Jumpman eventually spread their respective wings and took off to the outer realms of the cosmos with this Air Jordan XXX. Fans of galactic graphics on basketball models will inevitably be reminded of 2012’s iconic All-Star Collection that featured the Galaxy Foams and here the Air Jordan 30 Cosmos does its best impression thanks to the limitless capabilities of the Flyweave upper. A black base sees speckles of distance stars and galaxies while a white patent leather toecap matches the ‘XXX’ heel cage. There’s still no release confirmation for this Galaxy-esque Jordan XXX but stick with us right here on Sneaker News for all of your Jordan release date needs.

Landing this weekend is the Air Jordan 2 Wing It, the other half of the Air Jordan Poster Collection along with the recently released Air Jordan 12 The Master. The Wing It colorway takes a simplified approach with white, black and grey adorning the silhouette. It’s a classy approach to a model that was originally conceived as a luxury basketball shoe and of course, the “Wing It” catchphrase that you can find on the the shoe’s heel adds a little bit of that Nike “Just Do It” attitude that was prevalent during their ’80s advertising campaigns.

When Nike launched their SNKRS Application during All-Star Weekend 2015, sneakerheads everywhere rejoiced that there might be a better chance to grab the latest Jordan retros in a more modern, time-friendly fashion. The SNKRS App proved that and then some, as the Swoosh decided to expand the SNKRS process to their full website in a section that requires one to login in order to snag exclusive pairs. The Air Jordan XXX “UNC” will debut through that method this Saturday, March 5th for $200. With March Madness at the end of the month, what better time than now for the Jumpman to roll out collegiate colorways of Mike’s latest signature silhouette? The bolstered Flyweave upper features a University Blue to White gradient throughout while the ‘XXX’ heel cage contrasts the Black lining in a smooth White. At 23-6, the Tar Heels shouldn’t have an issue getting into the big dance, but hopefully the latest Air Jordan 30 provides them with the added push to finish atop the ACC. In December, we learned of Marcus Jordan’s “Trophy Room”, a Jordan-centric sneaker shop inspired his father’s all-time achievements in the game of basketball. We presume that limited edition Air Jordan footwear and apparel as well as interactive consumer experiences will be part of this heady retail set-up, and we’re learning now that Trophy Room will be located at Disney Springs, an outdoor shopping/entertainment center located inside the Walt Disney resort in Bay Lake, Florida. The shop is set to open on May 15th, 2016, but stay tuned for more details regarding this retail venture by MichaeL Jordan’s eldest son.

New PE colorways of the Air Jordan XXX keep rolling in for Russell Westbrook, like the one we see here in an almost “Halloween” color scheme in white, black, and orange. Jordan Brand‘s Pinnacle Series was as well-received as a basketball shoe retailing for $400 could be. That’s not a knock at the premium style of the numerous Air Jordan 1s featuring actual 24K gold accents either. Diehard fans flocked to releases like the Hender Scheme-esque Vachetta Tan leather installment. Now the Jumpman is translating the look onto a different silhouette with the Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle. Both a monochromatic black and navy croc-skin has made its way onto the upper in brief previews while this Air Jordan 4 “Snakeskin” outlier is the most luxurious to date. If the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle told us anything, expect this premium synthetic snakeskin pair to demand a premium price point. Did you catch last night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder? If you happened to watch the game you were in for a treat as Stephen Curry once again proved why he will go down as one of the best shooters in the history of the NBA. Not only did he break his own record for most 3-pointers in a season, his game winning 3-pointed during overtime also tied the record for most 3-pointers in a game (12). Enough about Curry though, if you’re into sneakers as much as we are, you also probably noticed the shoes that were on Russell Westbrook’s feet, a never before seen version of an Air Jordan 30 PE. The shoe was done up in a black and white motif accented by the orange hits placed throughout the shoe including the Jumpman on the toe, laces and XXX branding on the heel. The Jordan Brand releases keep on coming and right before you know it you’ll be able to get your hands on a brand new retro. With the Air Jordan 12 The Master doing well (in terms of sales), the Air Jordan 2 Wing It looks to follow suit when it releases next weekend.

Also a part of the Air Jordan Retro Poster Collection, this Air Jordan 2 pays tribute to a Jordan Brand ad campaign that released at the same time as the first Air Jordan 2 did in 1986. The shoe comes in a white textured leather upper offset by the hits of black and dark grey placed all over the shoe. Without a doubt the most noticeable feature on the shoe is the “WING IT” branding placed on the heel of the shoe which is the same phrase found on the poster that shoe pays tribute to. Set to release March 5th for $190, is this a must cop?

Ever since December of last year, there’s been images surfacing suggesting that a premium version of the Air Jordan 4 was in the works. Last month, we got our first good look at what is currently being called the Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin, and today we get a brand new set of pictures of the same shoe that once again suggests that this exotic version of the Air Jordan 4 is in fact going to release.

Said to be a part of a future Pinnacle collection, the new pictures show the shoe’s upper coming in a python upper composed out of snake-textured cream leather overlays. The tongue and lining of the shoe come in a cream colored leather, while the side panels (where the netting is usually placed) along with the lower part of the tongue come dressed using a perforated leather. Metal hits are placed on the eyelets and heel, while cream colored laced, embossed branding on the tongue and a white sole unit complete the look of the shoe. No release date yet. I am not looking forward to picking up a pair. I like premium built sneakers, but not when they are as extravagant as the ones you see above. A little bit too over the top for me.

I know for a fact that the majority of us were hyped to hear that Jordan Brand is planning on releasing the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam this year. To many, the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is considered their grails and they can’ wait to get their hands on a fresh new pair. Beginning yesterday, rumors began surfacing that this year’s Air Jordan 11 Space Jam will not look exactly like the version from the past.  Earlier today, Twitter user @_PO2345 let the world know that this year’s version will happen to be the Jordan PE version.

What is the Jordan PE version? Well for those who may not know, the original Space Jam pair featured purple (concord) colored Jumpman branding on the shoe. So in reality, the original Air Jordan 11 Space Jam came with a purple Jumpman instead of a Royal Blue one.

If this ends up being the case, I’m curious to see how people are going to perceive this release. Will they like it more than the Royal pair? What do you think? Is this the “real” Air Jordan 11 Space Jam to you? Let us know in the comments below.

Initially, I was a bit bothered that the Royal Blue Jumpman was replaced by the Purple one, but now that I’ve had time to think about it, it’s kind of cool that Jordan Brand is giving us the OG PE version of the shoe.

Jordan Brand is not playing around this year, at all. In a matter of days we found out that Jordan Brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam, Air Jordan 3 True Blue with Nike branding and now we got word that they all plan on releasing the long awaited Air Jordan 12 OVO White!

First unveiled way back in 2014, the white version of the Air Jordan 12 OVO has been a shoe that many people have wanted, but Jordan Brand never pulled the trigger on. They’ve suddenly had a change of heart as @_PO2345 is reporting that the shoe you see above will be the next collaboration between Drake and Jordan Brand. Said to be releasing sometime in the Summer, we still don’t have a concrete release date for the shoe. Is this a must cop? Let us know in the comments below.
