Author’s Take

This is a simple and clean colorway of the Air Jordan 1 but it’s not a pair that I would be willing to pay retail for. If these fall in price then I may grab them down the line.

Check Out This Incredible Air Jordan Display At The Jordan Bastille Store

Jordan Brand is preparing to open its doors at Jordan Bastille, the first-ever standalone Jordan retail store in Paris. As part of the celebration, the brand hosted a special launch event with special guest Ray Allen, who gave a Q&A while wearing the upcoming Space Jam 11 release. A big draw of this new spot, in addition to the top-shelf product and release, is this awesome Air Jordan display that features the championship-winning silhouettes dipped in gold. Curious as to why the Air Jordan XIV was left out of this gilded distinction, but the display is incredible nonetheless.

The Jordan Bastille store officially opens on November 24th; check out a video of the display just ahead.

A New Air Jordan 31 Covered In Snakeskin

AIR JORDAN 31 1 AIR JORDAN 31 2

What do we have here? A brand new luxurious colorway of the Air Jordan 31.

Jordan Brand employee Frank Cooker decided to stunt on the gram a bit and posted this never-before-seen Air Jordan 31 which features a grey suede upper with snakeskin detailing on the Swoosh, ankle, and tongue. The Jumpman that is usually seen on the ankle has been removed and replaced with the Jordan Wings logo instead. Down below we have a white midsole and outsole to finish things off. No word on whether or not these will be releasing to the public, but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

I like it. The snakeskin detailing looks real clean. Hopefully these actually release to the public.

The Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy is slated to release on December 22, 2016. That means we’re exactly one month away from this highly anticipated drop. To hold you off until then, here are Nike’s official images of the upcoming Jordan 16.

The Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy is an OG colorway that made its debut back in 2001 and has not retroed since 2008. If you’re in need of a fresh new pair, you won’t have to wait that much longer to pick one up. Coming in a White and Midnight Navy color scheme, the Air Jordan 16 is done in a full-grain White leather and shroud accompanied by the glossy Navy leather finishes on the toe and tongue. Additional Navy can be found on the heel and lining to give the shoe a bit more of a balanced look. Priced at $250, is this a holiday release you’re looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below. Be sure to visit out Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy hub page for additional images and info regarding this drop.

Author’s Take

I think the $250 price tag is going to push some people away from purchasing a pair. Just like the 17s that dropped this year, there’s a good chance these end up in the clearance aisle pretty quickly.

Take A Look At The Original Air Jordan 3 True Blue From 1988

Air Jordan 3 1 Air Jordan 3 2 Air Jordan 3 3

Black Friday will be bringing us the return of the Air Jordan 3 True Blue in a look that mimics the OG pair from 1988.

Today we give you a look at an actual pair that Michael Jordan wore and signed pair from 1988 along with the 2016 version for comparison. For the most part the two pairs are identical, including the Nike Air branding, the red inner tongue, and the Nike branding on the insoles and outsole. A couple of the very minor differences are the that the 2016 pair has a slightly lower cut at the ankle as well as a darker elephant print.

Will you be picking up your pair come Black Friday? Let us know in the comments below.

Michael Jordans First Retirement Shoe Returns On December 3rd

It’s understandable that these are being overshadowed by the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” this holiday season, but every hardcore Jordan sneaker collector knows that this OG Air Jordan 9 is an essential pick-up, as well. Sure, the iconic white, black, and red colorway of the Air Jordan model that MJ never actually wore in an NBA game has dropped numerous times before, but the smart move by the brand to drop the “other” Space Jam shoe as part of the 20th anniversary celebration for the beloved film actually seems to make it more appealing than ever?especially when you factor in the “remastered” attention to detail and quality.

Still on the fence about whether or not you need to pick up this Air Jordan 9 with the insane amount of other big sneaker drops this holiday season? Perhaps this latest set of detailed photos can help you decide. Study up, and don’t forget that they’ll be in stock at Jordan retailers around the globe on December 3rd.

The Air Jordan 3 True Blue is not supposed to officially release until November 25th, but it looks like there are several ways to get a pair a few days before that. Yesterday, Nike gave some of us access to pick up and secure a pair a bit early. Now we got word that Finish Line pulled a quick one on us and dropped the the Air Jordan 3 True Blue on their site this a.m.  Early reports suggest that people were able to add to their cart and complete payment, which lead us to think that this was planned ad not an error. Time will tell if the shoes end up shipping before the release date. Did you manage to pick up a pair this morning? If not, don’t worry, you will have another chance when the shoe officially dropn on November 25th for $220.

The Air Jordan 3 True Blue is on most people’s short list of the greatest Air Jordans ever made. Despite having been brought back a few times through the years by Jordan Brand, the anticipation for each comeback is welcomed by sneakerheads, Jordan fans and hypebeasts alike. The sneaker landscape is much different in 2016 than it was the last time the True Blue made a return to stores; competition from other brands and changing tastes have all but rendered only the most limited or hyped Js relevant. Despite the shift (and the True Blues $220 price tag), we don’t think Nike will have any problems selling these this Black Friday and through the weekend.

A Detailed Look At The Air Jordan 16 Retro Midnight Navy

The Air Jordan 16 has been back in the spotlight as of late due to high-profile collaborative editions from the likes of SoleFly and Trophy Room, but for the first time since 2008, it’s back in an original colorway. Retroing in an OG look for only the second time since the black and red colorway appeared in the 7/16 Countdown Pack, Michael Jordan’s sixteenth shoe is hitting the shelves for a special Christmas treat for its appreciators in the white and Midnight Navy color scheme. Replicating the original release from way back in 2001, the “Midnight Navy” retro comes complete with a full-grain white leather upper and shroud and a glossy navy finish for the signature patent leather toe cap.

Get your latest detailed look for the return of the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 16 here, and mark your calendars (or put them on your list to Santa Claus) in preparation for the December 22nd drop date.

With the AJ 3 True Blue releasing this weekend, another notable Jordan silhouette with the Air Jordan 1 High Top 3, will follow days after to cap off the month of November.

Each respective palette is prominent on a particular portion of the silhouette?s premium leather composition for a unique build. Three sets of matching laces also complement the aesthetic.

Furthermore, the three colors utilized is in reference to Michael Jordan?s draft placement in the 1984 NBA Draft.

This ?What The?-inspired theme on the sneaker came out solid and I like how three colorways were only utilized. I?m a fan.

Jordan Brand Employee Reveals A Never-Before-Seen Air Jordan 31

The luxury-themed trims of the Air Jordan 31 continue to surface as we get a first look at an Air Jordan 31 “Snakeskin”, revealed by a Jordan Brand employee through Instagram. Featuring a grey suede and greyscale Snakeskin upper, this Jordan 31 replaces the enlarged Jumpman on the heel with the classic Wings logo on the ankle section of the shoes. Like the Air Jordan 31 Lux that was revealed at Complex Con earlier this month, this Jordan 31 doesn’t make use of the Flyweave upper. A retail release hasn’t been confirmed yet.

The Air Jordan 1 Storm Blue Releases On December 23rd

Jordan Brand has one last Air Jordan 1 OG colorway planned to release before the end of 2016 with the Air Jordan 1 Storm Blue dropping at nationwide retailers on December 23rd for the perfect unexpected Holiday 2016 offering.

The Air Jordan 1 “Storm Blue” is one of those rare Jumpman pairs that’s never seen an actual retro release. While the Holiday 2016 slate will undoubtedly revolve around the likes of the Space Jam 11s and the True Blue 3s, Jordan Brand was kind enough to include one last OG installment before we head into the new year. Strangely enough, the GS size run has already released in Europe, but for those of you hoping to get your hand on this White/Storm Blue installment, you won’t have to wait that much longer.

Are you excited about the Air Jordan 1 Storm Blue returning in the near future? Check out more detailed shots below and stay tuned updated on the latest Jumpman plans via our Jordan release dates page.

Were One Week Away From The Air Jordan 1 High Top 3

We’re only one week away from the Air Jordan 1 High Top 3 releasing. I had convinced myself that this was not a Jordan 1 that I felt I “needed” in my collection. Now that I’ve come across these latest images of the shoe, I’m having second thoughts cause the be quite honest, they’re looking pretty good right about now. If you happen to be in the same predicament, I’m pretty sure looking at these new images will also make you have a change of heart.

At first I thought there wasn’t enough contrast between the two pairs, but now that I see the shoe in different angles, I feel like it has just enought differences from the left and right shoe to give it a unique look. Although I would have prefered that Jordan Brand use a different (better) type of leather, perhaps one with more texture (kind of like the Breds), it’s still dope enough to be a shoe I’d consider picking up, even if it’s just to put on my self. Being that it utilizes some of the best colorways of the model, it’s truly of work of art. Set to drop in adult sizes as well as kid (GS) sizes, you will be able to get your hands on a pair beginning November 29th (Cyber Monday). Click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top 3 launch page now for more images, the latest info and release details.

I think I need a pair now. Damn, man. I promised myself I wouldn’t go crazy this holiday season when it came to sneakers. Jordan Brand is making it hard with some of their releases.
