The Epic Kobe x Jordan Retros Are Up For Sale A Year Later

Remember that epic Kobe x Air Jordan Pack featuring Lakers-themed takes on two classic retros featured on the feet of the Black Mamba during his brief sneaker free-agency? Kobe left adidas after he was dissatisfied with their more avant-garde approach to his signature sneakers. While Kobe was figuring out his contract with Nike Basketball, he switched things up and even received some special packages from Jordan Brand in the form of the Air Jordan 3 Kobe and the Air Jordan 8 Kobe. Each PE resurfaced again in extremely limited numbers last year right before the celebration of Mamba Day, as Kobe said farewell with one last monster scoring performance, scoring 60 against the Utah Jazz in a win at Staples Center. Select celebrities showed up in the pairs, like Jay-Z’s courtside appearance. If you’re the ultimate Kobe stan, you’ll have to shell out $30,000 today via Stadium Goods.

Could An Air Jordan 1 Royal Satin Be Releasing

Back in October of last year Jordan Brand opened a pop-up shop in New York in celebration of the Air Jordan 1 Banned. If you happened to be in attendance, you were one of the few lucky ones who were got a slim chance at purchasing the exclusive and limited Air Jordan 1 Satin Banned. Limited to 501 pairs, the shoe sold out instantly. If you have a pair, consider yourself lucky.

Now we’ve come across another Air Jordan 1 Satin, this time around done in a Royal color scheme. The Air Jordan 1 Royal Satin was spotted at the Agenda shoe in Las Vegas on the feet of a Jordan Brand employee. We’re unsure whether these are 1-of-1 exclusives or a potential upcoming limited release since the Air Jordan 1 High Royal release is just around the corner. Regardless, stay tuned to KoF and we’ll make sure to keep you update.

Check Out The Sneaker Birthday Cake Michael Jordan Got For His Birthday

Michael Jordan turned 54 a few days ago. What do you give a man who already has everything? A cake shaped like the Air Jordan 11 of course!

Jordan was celebrating his birthday with Jordan Brand in New Orleans last night and one of his gifts was the Air Jordan 11 Bred (no pun intended) cake you see above. In addition to the sneaker cake, the rest of the cake consisted of Jordan home Chicago Bulls jersey placed on top of the basketball-filled birthday cake. Pretty dope right?

The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Alternate Royal Is Now Arriving At Retailers

The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Alternate Royal is the latest colorway of the model to drop. Above you will see the grade-school version of the shoe. Let’s get a closer look.

The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air is a version of the Air Jordan 1 that switches things up by utilizing different type of branding. For starters, the Jumpman on the tongues come with ‘Rare’ and ‘Air’ on them. The heel comes with nice-sized tonal Nike Air branding on it. The Wings branding on the collar is replaced by the ‘AIR JORDAN’. All these subtle changes result in a new ‘feel’ to the shoe. Soar, White and Black is the official colorway, but if you ask me, it looks like a Royal-Fragment creation. This particular pair is the GS version and can now be found at select retailers for $95. Cop?

How about a Air Jordan 1 High OG University Red? What you see above is a teaser image of a brand new colorway of the Jordan 1 High. The teaser images do not show the entire shoe, rather just the Wings branding and the Swoosh that appears to be possible made out of a patent leather. It may not be an OG colorway, but it appears to have that look and feel to them, right? No word on when these will be dropping, but early reports suggest that they will do so sometime this Summer with a retail price that we assume would be $160. Does this colorway catch your attention? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
