A Closer Look At The Air Jordan 13 DMP

Jordan Brand is returning to the Defining Moments Pack with an homage to Michael Jordan’s last championship with the Chicago Bulls in 1998. This duo doesn’t add up to the number 23 like past DMP Packs, but it does pay tribute to the two signature models that held down Mike on the journey to his 6th championship with two premium gold accented Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 14 pairs.

Today we get a detailed look at the Jordan 13 DMP featuring a mesmerizing patent gold leather mudguard to match that holographic branding on the ankle collar. That’s not all, as a luxurious white leather base is accented by red Jumpman branding for a Chicago-themed touch on the tongue. A special two-pair box also features a message reading: “This Air Jordan Defining Moments Pack celebrates Michael Jordan’s final championship. Both the Air Jordan 13 & Air Jordan 14 were worn by MJ in the final championship series when he cemented his legacy as the greatest of all time.” Check out a better view below and stay tuned for the Air Jordan 13 DMP’s Release Date right here on Sneaker News.

While we recently provided a sneak peek at the forthcoming Air Jordan 13/14 Defining Moments Pack, a full reveal of the Air Jordan 13 in particular is now highlighted.

Sporting a white and gold colorway, this variation of the sneaker is essentially a homage to Michael Jordan?s sixth and final championship with the Chicago Bulls.

The pristine hue simply dominates its quilted leather upper, while metallic gold accents across the mudguard, midsole and collar section — as a nod to the Larry O?Brien NBA championship trophy — pronounces the overall profile. In addition, the distinctive hologram logo features the championship year ?98 with an image of MJ to cap off the respective theme.

Furthermore, a preview of the special packaging also reveals a graphic print of the iconic ?Last Shot? play that was drawn up by coach Phil Jackson.

Retailing for $250, the release is suggested for sometime during June 2017.

UNC Football Will Be Wearing Jordan Brand Uniforms Next Season

With Michael Jordan having played at the University of North Carolina during his college days, many people probably wonder why every sports program in the school is not sponsored by Jordan Brand.

The North Carolina Football team is currently licensed by Nike, but according to Inside Carolina, they will move to Jordan Brand uniforms for the 2017 season. An announcement from the school is expected in the near future.

Nike and UNC signed a 10-year contract back in 2009 that was valued at $37.7 million and included a premium royalty on the sale of merchandise carrying UNC logos. According to sources, UNC is currently negotiating a new deal with Nike.

The rumors are true – Nike and Jordan Brand are teaming up to release an atmos x Air Jordan Pack. The atmos x Air Jordan 3 also features translucent soles, Nike Air on the heel, and what appears to be suede uppers. The accompanying atmos x Nike Air Max 1 appears unchanged. First Look At The Air Jordan 3 Atmos From The Air Jordan 3 x Air Max Atmos Pack

Alright. It’s official. Things just got real. We knew the Air Max 1 Atmos was releasing. It was also being rumored that it could possibly be dropping alongside an Air Jordan 3 Atmos. We’ve already seen the Air Max 1 Atmos, but this is the first time Air Jordan 3 Atmos images have been leaked. The rumors appear to be true! Looking to celebrate Air Max Day 2017 with a big bang, here’s a first look at both pairs that make up the Air Jordan 3 x Air Max Atmos Pack.

Focusing our attention on the Air Jordan 3 Atmos, the shoe appears to come with a Black (possibly suede?) upper contrasted by Safari print in the areas we’re used to seeing the Elephant print (heel and toe). Another feature worth mentioning on the shoe is the fact that it appears to come with Nike branding on the heel done in a Clear Jade hue. Last but not least, it looks like they decided to give the shoe an icy translucent outsole.

Of course, the shoes will come with special packaging, but all we can see from these images is that the box is White. As of right now, the shoe is believed to be releasing on March 26th for the retail price of $400. Stay tuned as we’re pretty sure better images of both models will be releasing any day now.
