Michael Jordans Final NBA Championship Celebrated With DMP Pack Release

On June 14th, 1998, Michael Jordan won his sixth NBA Championship with the Chicago Bulls, taking down the Utah Jazz with the magical “last shot” to seal the victory. On the 19th anniversary of this event, Jordan Brand will commemorate the shoes worn by Michael with an Air Jordan DMP Pack consisting of the Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 14.

During the 1998 NBA Finals, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 13 through the second half of Game 5; from that point on, the Air Jordan 14, which had yet to release to the public, touched the hardwood and was forever enshrined in basketball lore.

The Air Jordan 13/14 DMP Pack features golden accents reflecting the Larry O’Brien trophy, with additional details nodding to Jordan’s impeccable performance during that series. This set, which retails for $500, will officially release on June 14th at select retailers such as Feature in Las Vegas.

Author?s Take

Juan Carrillo, Editor: Very nice. All three colorways are very clean. If I had to pick one from the three, I’d probably go with the Purple/Violet one. I appreciate the fact that they kept the same aesthetics on these as the one that dropped back in 2015.

The Latest Images Of The Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit has been greeted with mixed reviews, to say the least. Some people have a “why fix something that’s not broken” mentality, while other are open to the modern change. I happen to fall on the latter group. I mean, why can’t we like both? No one’s making us choose, right? It’s perfectly okay to rock the OG Bred on Monday, and the Flyknit version on Tuesday. Today we get out latest look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit in the recently previewed Bred colorway, as well as the brand new Royal colorway.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit is a modernized version of the Air Jordan 1 High. The usual leather upper is replaced by a Flyknit woven construction, which will inevetiably make the shoe lighter and more comfortable. Both options rock the same color scheme and color blocking as the leather Breds and Royals. The knit woven upper also comes with additional features such as the Swoosh and Jordan branding done in a sewed-on leather, and yes, Nike Air is on the tongue. A White midsole and Red (or Blue) outsole complete the look of the shoe. Said to be releasing during the month of September for $200, let us know what you think about the Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit? Are you willing to give it a try?
