The New adidas Ultra Boost ATR Is Built For Fall

adidas Ultra Boost ATR adidas Ultra Boost ATR 1 adidas Ultra Boost ATR 2 adidas Ultra Boost ATR 3 adidas Ultra Boost ATR 4 adidas Ultra Boost ATR 5

The ever so popular adidas Ultra Boost continues to receive new enhancements throughout the season, as this forthcoming pair is built specifically for the colder months ahead.

Consisting of an ATR rendition, or essentially All-Terrain, the silhouette is upgraded with a much sturdier and durable construction, in addition to receiving a water-resistant layer to help keep your feet dry against the elements.

Furthermore, the model flaunts a slight taped-off build for a sleeker profile, while its signature caging system, heel counter and white boost midsole unit are retained to maintain its recognizable design language.

Showcased in two colorways, look for this style to debut at select adidas retailers sometime later this Fall 2016.

Author’s Take

I’ll be an advocate for this silhouette no matter what. The new build seems solid and these colorways are appealing options. You can wear this style all-year.

Upcoming Releases Of The adidas Ultra Boost ATR

The adidas Ultra Boost is about to get a bit more climate-ready as we approach the colder months and the harsher elements they bring. The adidas Ultra Boost ATR features a taped-off toe-box that is certainly much more durable than Primeknit, and also acts as a shield against water and other junk that may fly around during trail runs. ATR stands for All-Terrain, so rest assured that these Boosts are fit for any surface. Two more colorways are previewed here, so get a look below and let us know if you like the ATR style compared to the classic all-Primeknit versions.

First Look At The adidas Crazy Explosive Low

The adidas Crazy Explosive was officially unveiled during a special media event in Las Vegas back in July, but it looks like its low-top brethren isn’t too far off from an official unveiling as well. Today we get a first look at the low-top Crazy Explosive with a purple upper and icy blue outsole that shrouds the Boost cushioning. We expect adidas Hoops athletes such as Andrew Wiggins to wear the Crazy Explosive Low along with the Mid version throughout the season, but we’re left to wonder if this was also John Wall’s signature shoe, given that an early sample of the Explosives was leaked with J WALL 3 written on the tag. Release information for the Crazy Explosive Low hasn’t been revealed just yet, but its possible a release later winter as the 2016-2017 NBA season begins can happen.

We’ve already seen a handful of colorways of the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged arrive at retailers, but you can bet that the lightweight runner will not be slowing down any time soon. With Fall quickly approaching we can expect to see more colorways release.

One of those colorways that will be releasing during the Fall is the Triple Black version that we see above. This pair comes equipped with a black and dark grey Primeknit upper, a blacked out Boost midsole, black heel cage, and a black Continental rubber outsole. There is no confirmed release date for the adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged Triple Black yet but we do know that they will retail for $180.

Check out the official image above and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for release updates.

Author’s Take

If I were to pick up a pair of the Ultra Boost Uncaged it would be something with color like a burgundy or olive pair. I’m not a fan of the all black colorway.

The adidas EQT Support ADV Is Going To Have A Busy September

ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 1 ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 2 ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 3 ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 4 ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 5 ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 6 ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 7 ADIDAS EQT SUPPORT ADV 8

The adidas EQT Support ADV is without a doubt one of adidas‘ best new EQT inspired models. The perfect blend of classic look and modern feel is what makes this model one of the most sought after. The first colorways dropped not too long ago and managed to sell out pretty quickly. Now we got word that even more colorways are on the way.

The advanced (ADV) version of the classic EQT Support is shown in four new colorways. The first pair has the shoe come in Red, Black and Grey, making it one of the boldest versions yet. The second pair comes in a much more tonal Black upper with a White sole. The third pair comes with a Grey and Black upper while sitting on a predominantly White sole unit. Lastly, and my favorite is the Olive and White pair. The mesh upper assures that the shoe will be comfortable, while the EQT sole makes sure you have plenty of support under your feet. Stay tuned as release dates are sure to follow.

Author’s Take

I’ve yet to pick up a pair because I’ve been to slow in jumping the gun. I love the model. It’s sleep, modern-looking and the shape is dope! I’m eyeing that Olive colorway! Really happy to see more colorways release!

Our First Look At The UNDFTD x adidas Busenitz Collaboration

UNDFTD x adidas Busenitz 1 UNDFTD x adidas Busenitz 2

UNDFT and adidas are linking up for a brand new footwear collaboration. The sneaker shop implements its military aesthetic on none other than the adidas Busenitz. Today we get out first look at the UNDFTD x adidas Busenitz.

The UNDFTD x adidas Busenitz dons a tonal motif as a sandy hue takes care of the entire shoe from tongue to sole. The shoe is constructed out of leather, suede and a little bit of ripstop nylon. The nylon is what helps give the shoe some of that military feels that UNDFTD is known for using. UNDFTS branding appears on the paneling, on one of the two tongues and on the insoles to help give it that collaborative feel. Thoughts? Stay tuned to find out when these drop.

Author’s Take

It’s fairly simple but it works. The color uses along with the materials give this shoe a clean look for the Fall season. I dig it.

adidas And James Harden Pay Tribute To Arizona State With Crazylight Boost 2016

James Harden and adidas are celebrating the start of Arizona State University’s football season with a brand new adidas Crazylight Boost 2016 inspired by the Sun Devils. James was a consensus All-American during his two seasons there before turning pro, and while he didn’t have the Crazylight Boost 2016 to lace up while he was there, the model has been frequently featured on Harden’s feet over the past year.

The Crazylight Boost 2016 features a light grey jacquard woven upper, maroon accents throughout the lining and midsole to match ASU’s signature color, and light touches of yellow on the tongue where James Harden’s number 13 is stitched. The full-length Boost cushion system made this one of last year’s best basketball models especially given the $130 USD price point.

“Arizona State helped mold me into the man I am today and this is my chance to show love, respect and how much they mean to me,” Harden said. “I’ve been up there practicing this summer and it’s one big family. You find certain things in life, and you get attached to them. It’s no different with ASU.”

The adidas Crazylight Boost 2016 “Arizona State” PE will be available tomorrow, September 2nd and the three stripes will even partner with ASU’s 942 Crew to host a tailgate experience ahead of the Sun Devils’ first home opener on Saturday. Students will have the opportunity to purchase their pairs there. They’ll also get a chance to win tickets when the Suns take on the Rockets this upcoming NBA season. For more Harden updates, check out the adidas JHarden 1 here.

Author’s Take

This hue has been trending for a while and I’m not complaining. I’m biased towards the colorway and the silhouette overall, so these should garner the attention it deserves (especially the full olive pair).
