By SoleInsider
Have you had the chance to check out the adidas Tubular Shadow in person yet? If you haven’t found a color that has convinced you yet, take a look at the adidas Tubular Shadow Pirate Black that recently arrive stateside.
This version of the adidas Tubular Shadow comes in a perforated leather paired up with woven mesh paneling noted on the heel tab and medial section that ends up giving the shoe a unique and a dynamic finish. The tonal look of the shoe extends on to the laces, lining and sole unit, resulting in a very versatile motif. Out now, pick up this clean pair of Tubular Shadows for $120. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
Adidas has just released a new colorway of the Campus silhouette which will definitely turn a few heads.
Fall may be over, but sneakerheads love them a nice olive sneaker during any time of the year. As you can see, this Campus comes covered in a full suede upper with leather detailing on the three stripes branding, tongue, heel tab, and inner liner. Pops of color have then been placed on the tongue and heel tab for contrast along with an off-white sole unit.
You can grab your pair now at select adidas retailers for $90.
Just like the original off-white colorway, this black version of the adidas Yeezy 750 Cleat features a premium nubuck upper with a strap on the midfoot and a Quckframe plate on the bottom of the shoe to make them football-ready.
No release date has been confirmed at the moment but you can look for these to release sooner rather than later. Make sure you stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.
Considered by many the best rookie in the NFL this year, along with teammate Ezekiel Elliot, this is the first time that a player wears the Yeezy 750 Cleat to play in the actual game as opposed to wearing them during pregame warmups.
Check out a few action shots above of Prescott rocking the cleats against the Lions. Do you like the 750 cleats better than the 350s?

Seen above is a women’s pair of Superstars which features a smooth black leather upper with a spiked 3D metal shell toe. The toe almost looks like pieces of shattered glass or crystal which give off a nice shine. Other details include tonal branding, a leather inner liner, and a white sole unit.
What are your thoughts on this 3D spike Superstar? Let us know in the comments below and look for them at select adidas Originals retailers this Winter.

The adidas NMD was everywhere in 2016. You saw it on hypebeasts, you saw it on nomads (get it?), you saw it on your grandmother, you saw it everywhere. While the Yeezy may have been a big factor in getting a lot of eyes on adidas it was the NMD and the Ultra Boosts that kept them coming back, because you could actually buy them without too much hassle. Well, you can buy some of them because there was a stretch there where even the most “general release” of NMDs was a pain to find, including many of the pairs that you’ll find on these lists. We didn’t put them on here because they were exclusive, but because they signified the best of 2016. Enjoy our countdown of the Top 10 adidas NMD colorways as part of #KoFBestOf2016.
adidas NMD Tri-Color
adidas
Yes, I’m going to be petty as f**k that I didn’t cop them this past Monday because they are that good. The Tri-Color is something that amazingly opens up the silhouette and all it really is ostensibly the Glitch pattern – something we’ve already seen before – with three different colored stripes. It’s part of the conservative approach that Originals has taken with the NMD and will serve them well moving into 2017.
adidas NMD Olive
Hypebeast
Looking for a pair of kicks to go along with your Yeezy gear? How about something that goes well with just about anything that makes it look you just lived through a game of Fallout? The Olive colorway, which came in many iterations this year, was the NMD colorway of choice for many from the fashionable set. Now if only there was a true camo version that made this list. Hmmm…
Nice Kicks x adidas NMD
Nice Kicks
We saw adidas work with a number of brands this year and Nice Kicks (the store) was one of the first out the gate with a splattered rendition that had sneakerheads itching to cop. The secondary market demand for these is off the charts, proving the old adage that you can never have too many red, black and white sneakers out in the wild. It just works, dammit..
adidas NMD NYC Red Apple
adidas
See what we mean? Although the hype for this has more to do with there being only 200 pairs total out there, it still represents the tried and true colors that we demand in our kicks. And just for the record, adidas Originals, a Kicks On Fire x adidas NMD would be also be pretty cool. Hint, hint, hint…
BAPE x adidas NMD
adidas
I know we all cursed the moon when alleged backdoored pairs started making their way to the Internets, but congrats if you were able to score a pair to actually wear out at retail. While I bristle at the thought of camo still being relevant in this day and age, I’m happy to see early 2000s staples like BAPE still maintain relevance this decade. Bringing them together with the adidas NMD was a masterstroke of marketing on both sides.
White Mountaineering adidas NMD City Sock
Packer Shoes
You might think the adidas City Sock is a little too simple for it’s own good, but think of the blank Primeknit upper as just that, a blank canvas where anything is possible. But as expected, adidas is taking a more sedate approach with collabs like this one with White Mountaineering where the branding might be all over the place but it’s still “classy” enough to pull off that it’s not overwhelming the shoe. Although some might say it could the silhouette could use some of that.
Packer Shoes x adidas NMD
Packer Shoes
Well, that’s certainly different. Modeled after classic 80s style with bright hues that look like something out of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the Packer Shoes collabs is a glimpse into the future of the NMD and just how much untapped potential there is still waiting to pop out. That blue and teal color combination is just money every time and it works so well here.
Pharrell x adidas NMD Human Race
@adidasOriginals
Save for Yeezys, this might be the most bootlegged adidas sneaker this year so it only made sense that I pull a picture from adidas Originals’ Snapchat where this particular colorway of the NMD Human Race was on the feet of on Pharrell Williams. Reaction for this slate of drops has been mixed, but those who are fans are no doubt repping hard for these, thanks to the bright colors and limitless ways you can lace them up thanks to the cage system that we’ve seen since on other NMDs.
adidas NMD Pitch Black Friends And Family
adidas
Spoiler: we keep it simple for the top 2 NMDs. First up is this ultra rare friends and family Pitch Black colorway that features the much-desired black Boost cushioning and a raffle that had everybody on their phones for several hours hoping to be among the lucky ones to score a pair. Not bad for what is essentially a blackout colorway. One of the greatest achievements of adidas current string of hits is how they have managed to help make simple colorways such as this cool again.
adidas NMD PK White
adidas
Case in point. This is basically white version of the OG NMD with black Primeknit switched out with white. This super clean drop might carry with it the same problems as any white Primeknit release (read: dirt traps) but you definitely enjoy them while they’re clean. And considering I’ve seen so many of these being worn in Southern California this fall, I’m also glad we’re over that stupid “dont’ wear white after Labor Day” rule.

Late last night we got word that a number of new adidas Ultra Boost colorways would be ushering in the New Year with a surprise January 1st release at a number of retailers. (You can read more on that here.)
Today we get a look at the new adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Mystery Grey, a tonal marbled greyscale colorway perfect for any occasion with that updated Primeknit 3.0 construction and semi-translucent three stripe cage overlay. Unfortunately, this adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 pair won’t be available with the batch of other Ultra Boosts releasing on January 1st, but a Release Date is coming in Spring 2017.

adidas started the 2016 NFL season off with a bang by outfitting their athletes with Yeezy 750 cleats. Dak Prescott kept the buzz alive by wearing them last night against the Detroit Lions, and today adidas unveils official images of a triple-black colorway that mimic’s last October’s Yeezy Boost 750 release. While a release of this latest adidas Yeezy shoe hasn’t been confirmed, we wouldn’t be surprised if the brand dropped these during the Playoffs. Get another look just below and we’ll give you a heads up if we learn of a retail release.
Is The adiZero Prime Boost The Next Big Thing For adidas
By SoleInsider
The winning combination of Boost cushioning and Primeknit uppers won’t stop anytime soon. adidas will pump out new models to surround the uber-popular Ultra Boost and NMD line-up that has dominated 2016, and the adiZero Prime Boost has what it takes to be that third model to really break ground for the brand. Although the shoes are pretty much another iteration of the Uncaged Ultra Boost, consumers are still eating up what adidas is putting out, so long as the Boost/Primeknit one-two punch is involved. This new “Tech Earth” colorway of the adiZero Prime Boost is about to hit stores like Up There Store in Australia; does this silhouette have what it takes to reach the success of the Ultra Boost?
A Closer Look At The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Triple White
By SoleInsider
Another day, another look at an upcoming adidas Yeezy pair. Kanye had quite the busy 2016 between his Saint Pablo Tour, his Donald Trump co-sign and the subsequent fallout of both, but there was one thing that you could count on – more fire in the form of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350. Four colorways of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 closed out the year for another strong Yeezy release slate, and today we get detailed shots of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Triple White courtesy of prolific Instagram user Sneakerpropet.
What we can tell from these detailed shots ranges from an updated heel tab, new Primeknit patterns, faint hints of the coveted side panel stripe despite the Triple White aesthetic, and more. We already know that this Yeezy Boost 350 Triple White has been previewed in both adult and kids size runs, but what we don’t have locked down yet is a Release Date. Check out more of the latest adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorway offering below and we’ll keep you updated on release info right here on Sneaker News.
The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Receives More Colorways To Welcome 2017
By SoleInsider
A variety of colorways of the newly-introduced adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 just released earlier this month, and to welcome the new year, additional pairs are expected to debut once more.
Featured in tonal finishes of navy, olive and maroon — the sleek silhouette is complemented with a white boost midsole unit and black continental outsole to cap off the sneakers’ profile altogether.

The Shoe Gallery x adidas Climacool 1 Flight 305 Arrives Next Week
By SoleInsider
Florida-based sneaker retailer, Shoe Gallery, aligns with adidas to reinterpret its classic Climacool 1 silhouette to cap off the year strong.
Dubbed ?Flight 305?, the story begins on Ocean Drive, the long road which runs along the South Beach waterfront, lined with the city?s now iconic art deco buildings. Painted in a variety of pastel shades, by day, these buildings are architecturally striking, but by nightfall – under the illumination of multicolored neon signs ? colors begin to warp and blend into one another.
These buildings serve as the inspiration behind the silhouette’s dynamic aesthetic, as it flaunts a stealthy black makeover, but in light, and with movement, the shoes? stunning effect is revealed. Beneath the dark outer mesh lies a XENO film membrane that mimics the multi colored shimmer of snakeskin.
Furthermore, the retailer has also joined forces with DroneNerds and Miami-based Grammy Nominee producer, Cool on this model.
The execution is a playful nod towards unmanned flying vehicles with stealthy black bodies accented by the shimmer of their propellers. Shoe Gallery envisions such drones as the future of footwear delivery.
With this limited edition pair retailing for $150, you can expect to find it at select adidas Consortium accounts starting January 7, 2017.
The distinctive woven Primeknit upper is simply covered in marled green and olive, while light green is utilized for its signature three stripe motif across its side panels. A sock-like collar provides a secure and comfortable fit, as it’s all adhered atop a crisp white BOOST midsole fitted with torsion mid-foot and a continental rubber outsole in black.
Retailing for about $200, you can purchase this pair at select adidas retailers overseas first starting December 28th.
