The adidas EQT Support ADV In Core Black

The adidas EQT Support ADV made its debut in 2016 and it appears that adidas has big plans for the retro-inspired lifestyle runner in 2017as we continue to see new colorways.

One of the latest pairs that is making its way to shelves right now is this new Core Black/Utility Black-Grey pair that is seen above. The mesh upper features a couple of different shades of black while subtle white accents can be seen on the three stripes branding on the midsole. Lastly we have a 3M heel tab done in grey that provides a nice pop.

This dark colorway of the EQT Support ADV can be found at select adidas retailers now for $110.

Adidas Has Made The Tubular Shadow For Infants

The adidas Tubular Shadow has been one of adidas’ most talked about sneakers since its release in late 2016 due to how similar it looks to the Yeezy Boost 350. Some people have praised the shoe because it’s an affordable alternative to the Yeezys that most people can’t buy. And others bash it calling it a “fake Yeezy.”

Whatever your opinion may be, it seems like the shoe is doing fairly well because adidas has decided to design the Tubular Shadow in infant sizes. Just like adidas did with the Yeezy 350, you can now purchase a pair of baby Tubulars for the little one in your life. Look for them to arrive at select adidas retailers in the near future.

Tactile Green Highlights The Next adidas Climacool 1

Following its collaboration with Shoe Gallery, the adidas Climacool 1 continues to receive more colorways to welcome the new year.

Originally seen during the early 2000s, this latest variation dons an understated palette dominated by midnight grey/navy and black.

Defined by its breathable upper comprised of mesh, which provides the wearer with a temperate feeling during warm, humid days – the model is further punctuated with tactile green accents located on the side panels via its three stripe motif, TPU component on the forefoot for additional reinforcement, as well as the heel unit. Finally, matching sole unit finishes off the overall profile.

You can purchase this pair at select adidas retailers overseas first, while a stateside release is imminent.

adidas Made Their Yeezy Look-alikes In Infant Sizes Too

Even if adidas might never admit it, there’s no doubt that the Tubular Shadow was meant to replicate the look of the YEEZY Boost 350. Now the Three Stripes have even given the latest Tubular model the sized-down treatment for infants, furthering their relation to the infamous Yeezys even more. If your toddlers on a budget and can’t afford the resale price of the baby adidas Yeezys, then perhaps these will be a suitable substitute. Find them arriving at select international adidas Originals retailers now.

A Bred adidas NMD XR1 Is Coming Soon

All of the attention for adidas at the moment is focused on the adidas NMD R1 and the Ultra Boost, but the three stripes quietly continues to release new and impressive colorways of the NMD XR1.

One pair that will be arriving at retailers in Europe (for now) during the Spring season is this “Bred” rendition that we see above. Covered in a Core Black Primeknit throughout the entire upper, white speckling can be seen on the upper as well as on the laces. The “Bred” name comes from the bright red EVA insert that can be seen on the blacked out Boost midsole as well as on the the heel pull tab.

There is no confirmed release date yet for this new colorway of the adidas NMD XR1, but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

More Images Of The Upcoming adidas EQT Support Ultra PK

I’m not a betting man, but if I was I’d say that adidas Boost will continue to rule the sneaker game in 2017. Aside from the Ultra Boost, NMD and Yeezy offerings, I’m pretty sure adidas will also release even more of their classic models utilizing good ol’ Boost. A brand new model people seem to be interested in is the adidas EQT Support Ultra PK you see above.

The adidas EQT Support Ultra PK is a new modern take on the original adidas EQT model. What makes this model so special is the fact that it comes with a Primeknit upper and a Boost sole unit, something you rarely see adidas do when it comes to modernizing their classic silhouettes. The shoe comes dressed in a Vintage White, Footwear White and Core Black color scheme. As mentioned above, it features a full Primeknit upper dressed in White contrasted by the hits of Black throughout. The Three Stripes on the sides appear in ribbon construction, while a plastic heel counter and a White full-length Boost midsole and rubber outsole appears below. No exact release date yet, but expect to see them drop as early as this month. Thoughts? I dig it!

An On-Feet Look At The adidas EQT Support Ultra PK

The EQT line models have been getting updated and modern upgrades over the last few years now. Classic EQT silhouettes get covered in Primeknit or get placed on top of a Boost sole. Very few times do you se both adidas tech features placed on the same shoe at the same time. This is one of those “few” times. Get a good look at the upcoming adidas EQT Support Ultra PK.

The adidas EQT Support Ultra PK comes with a Primeknit upper and is placed on top of a Boost sole. The sock-like fit also comes equipped with a heel counter, a cage that’s part of the lacing system on the medial side, the ribbon Three Stripes branding on the panels and a set of ‘SUPPORT’ lace locks. No word on when these drop yet, but expect adidas stockists such as BSTN to have them in stock once they do so.

A Short Film That Looks Back At The History Of The adidas EQT Series

Adidas will be taking us into the next chapter of their EQT series with a short film titled ‘Only The Essentials.’

The film documents the background, evolution and enduring legacy of the brand?s iconic Equipment series.

Via adidas:

“Starting at the series? roots in the early 1990s, the film explores the components and circumstances that led to the series? conception; from an imperative need to find new direction, to an oversaturation of style over substance in the performance footwear industry, to the spirit of liberation reverberating across Germany in the aftermath of the fall of the Berlin wall. The film then identifies the EQT series? enduring legacy and position in contemporary culture, introducing a new approach to the fundamental philosophy, encapsulated by the series? new ?Turbo Red? ? the polar opposite to the original ?EQT Green? colorway.”

Complete Guide To The adidas NMD OG Release

The biggest sneaker release of this weekend is undoubtedly the adidas NMD “OG”, a re-release of the debut colorway of the three stripe’s most popular lifestyle model that combines the comfortable style of Primeknit and Boost all into one sleek yet simple silhouette with a vintage inspiration. For those of you hoping to get another chance at this pair, we’ve compiled a full store list for you of both stateside and international retailers planning on restocking the adidas NMD R1 OG.

The adidas NMD OG first debuted in December 2015 and surprised everyone with a unique design inspred by the adidas Micropacer, adidas Boston Super, and more. While the NMD doesn’t necessarily stand for anything and is instead a code name, the sock-like slip-on upper is lightweight thanks to the woven Primeknit textile and the Boost cushioning system in the midsole that champions two unique ‘bumpers’ seen here in a Lush Red and Royal Blue to compliment the Core Black upper. Are you excited about the return of the adidas NMD R1 OG starting tomorrow, January 14th for $180 USD?

It features the same striped pattern on the Sock upper with the same markings on the heel-tabs. If you’re into the classic City Sock look, get them at BSTN now and stay tuned for a release at other shops.
