The adidas Ultraboost DNA LOOP Is Set To Launch As Part Of Creators Club Week

For the first time, adidas is enabling consumers around the world to get their hands on the revolutionary adidas Ultraboost DNA LOOP.

The high-performance running shoes are created from a single material and zero glue so at the end of their use can be returned to adidas, broken down and reused to create new performance running shoes.

1,500 Creators Club members will be invited to take part in a beta test through the adidas app that will be the cornerstone of the full commercial release of the ?Made to be Remade? franchise in 2021.

The 1,500 members will be given the shoes for free by adidas and become part of a sustainability micro-community who will co-create with adidas in a true open source fashion to further shape and fine tune the experience. The 21-week program will be driven by the adidas app with the community?s actions and feedback helping futureproof the engagement model. By signing up for the raffle they are making a commitment to return the shoes to be grinded, shredded and turned into something new.

To take part in the next phase, Creators Club members need to prove their sustainability credentials by taking part in a quiz. Everyone who completes the quiz will be entered into a global raffle and randomly selected for the experience. Becoming a Creators Club member is free, just sign up to the adidas App available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

An On-Feet Look At The Pharrell x Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Black Future

Releasing soon, here are on-feet images of the Pharrell x Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Black Future.

This collaborative iteration of the adidas Ultra Boost has adidas Originals linking up with Pharrell Williams and Parley for the Oceans to create a recycled version of the model. Dubbed the Black Future, the shoe opts for a Triple Black motif consisting of a Black Primeknit upper with matching lace cage, laces, Boost midsole and rubber outsole. Other details include the Black suede heel counter that comes with ?Black Future? branding on it.

The Pharrell x Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Black Future has no release date yet, but look for it to drop in the coming months at select retailers and adidas.com.

The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 Burgundy Is Returning Next Week

In addition to the “Olive” colorway, adidas will also be bringing back the highly sought after “Burgundy” colorway of the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0.

Originally released back in 2015, this adidas Ultra Boost features the OG 1.0 Primeknit construction on the upper in a dark Maroon hue with tonal detailing hitting the laces, inner liner, and lace cage. A black heel counter with black and silver “ultra boost branding”, a white Boost midsole, and a black Continental rubber outsole wraps up the design.

Look for the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 Burgundy to release on October 22nd for $180.

Dia De Los Muertos (Day of The Dead) is a holiday that traditionally takes place from October 31st-November 2nd and adidas will be releasing a special collection to celebrate. One of those sneakers that will be part of the collection is the adidas D.O.N. Issue #2. The adidas D.O.N. Issue #2 Day of The Dead comes covered in an off white hue all over the mesh and synthetic constructed upper with colorful traditional artwork associated with the holiday seen on the upper which include a sugar skull on the toe and a spider web on the medial side panel. Pops of green on the laces and tongue branding, tri-colored three stripes on the medial midsoles, and a translucent outsole with more graphics wrap up this adidas D.O.N. Issue #2 that is expected to release later this month. Will you be grabbing a pair upon release?

Set to be the latest installment to their ?Time In? partnership, the Ninja x adidas ZX Torsion Pack includes two pairs of the model done in your choice of Grey Two/Grey Four-Grey Five or Grey Two/Cloud White-Glory Purple. adidas is set to launch Creators Club Week ? a seven-day digital festival kicking-off on 14th October 2020. The event, a first from adidas, will feature appearances from globally renowned musicians, sportspeople and designers. 

The Creators Club Week will also see adidas? biggest ever drop of exclusive and limited-edition shoes, with more than 70 new designs making their debut over the course of the event. Just some of the highlights of the Creators Club Week program include:

  • To start the week Karlie Kloss alongside James Carnes from adidas will launch the next chapter of the revolutionary UltraBOOST DNA LOOP ? adidas running shoes created from 100% recyclable TPU and using zero glue – ?Made to be Remade?. Members will have a chance to earn the shoes and then help shape the future of the ?Made to be Remade? initiative with a unique app experience.
  • Pusha T will take the stage to discuss the impact of 90s street culture on the music and fashion industry as well as the Ozweego franchise, with new interpretations being released for members.
  • There will be an opportunity to earn the adidas adizero adios Pro, currently the world?s most-sought after running shoe, as well as the unveiling of a new set of product collaborations from gaming superstar Ninja.
  • Throughout the week a series of over 30 surprise raffles will take place where members can win unique creations, such as a piece of art from design Paolina Russo, through to signed adidas Predator boots from World Cup winner Paul Pogba.
