Marking the next chapter of Nike?s relentless focus on designing for runners, the all-new Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 2 is built for peak performance for the marathon and long-distance road racing. An innovative design built on learnings from the first iteration of Nike?s pinnacle racing shoe, the Alphafly NEXT% 2 now serves the future of runners at all levels.

The updates to the Alphafly NEXT% 2 were focused on refining the construction of the shoe to take all runners through the marathon distance with improved stability and transition. True to its origin, the Alphafly NEXT% 2 midsole is made from a combination of full-length ZoomX foam (Nike?s lightest and most resilient foam), a full-length curved carbon plate, and dual Zoom Air pods ? offering runners a propulsive, lightweight and supportive ride.

Additional foam was added under the Zoom Air pods in the forefoot, offering more energy return and helping ensure a smooth transition from heel to forefoot as runners go through their stride. A slightly wider heel helps improve stability and transition through changes of pace. The upper now features Atomknit 2.0, engineered for containment in the forefoot, breathability above the toes, and comfortable padding under the laces.

Inspired by Nike?s elite marathon athletes, the prototype colorway of the Alphafly NEXT% 2 is a nod to Nike?s development process of testing with athletes. This colorway features a wear test number on the medial side along with pops of color highlighting the dual Zoom Air bags.

?The Alphafly NEXT% 2 is built for athletes going after their personal best in the marathon,? says Elliott Heath, Nike Running Footwear Product Manager. ?Since its inception, the Alphafly has been inspired by the most elite runners going after world records. The updates we?ve made in the second iteration continue to equip elite athletes competing on the world stage but were focused on improving the racing experience for all runners chasing their personal best.”

The prototype colorway of the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 2 is available now in limited quantities with more colorways dropping in the near future.

Matthew M. Williams gives us a first look at this new collab with Nike, the Nike Zoom MMW 5.

Previewed in an all-Grey colorway, the Nike Zoom MMW 5 is fully constructed out of foam that features small cutouts throughout as well as larger ones at the mudguard for breathability. Details on the all-Grey model include a small MMW x Nike logo on the upper portion of the slide, while Chrome details atop a a two-toned White and Beige sole unit can be found below.

The Nike Zoom MMW 5 Grey is currently slated to debut Spring of 2023 at select retailers and Nike.com. Stay tuned for a confirmed release date.

Slated to drop next week, here are official images of the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid in the Black colorway.

This pair is part of the the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid collab that includes two makeups of the model done in your choice of ?White/Clear-White? and ?Black/Clear-Black?. Both colorways of the model are given a makeover via Off-White?s signature deconstructed aesthetic that includes unique detailing such as the exposed lacing system, translucent Swooshes, text branding on the lateral, bold hits of color used on the spikes alongside the Black rubber outsole. Furthermore, the model is packaged in a brick-patterned box with co-branding. Graffiti-style ?AIR? branding on the tongues, heel pull tabs, a translucent base with a swirl pattern and a wavy midsole are all also part of the sneaker?s design.

UPDATE (6/17): Nike has confirmed that the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Black” will be releasing via SNKRS on June 23rd for $185.

“Virgil Abloh?s legacy continues with the Air Force 1 Mid. Celebrating 40 years of AF1, he reimagined the legendary silhouette through the futurist lens. Lightweight, airy mesh with woodgrain pattern brings a utilitarian edge, while the spiked outsole connects directly to the ISPA philosophy of “Improvise. Scavenge. Protect. Adapt.” And as always, Virgil left room for others to be creative?the design pairs traditional laces with a secondary set that loops through Flywire cables. The result: a modernized and experimental reflection on history’s most revered shoe.”

Still slated to make its debut later on this year, Nike hits us with official images of the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra in the Black and University Gold colorway.

This colorway of the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra comes dressed in a Black tumbled leather upper paired with matching mesh tongues and lining. Contrast comes by way of the University Gold accents throughout. Elsewhere you will find the NOCTA emblem on the tongues and G-Tek branding on the heels. Taking a closer look you will also find 3M reflective detailing and co-branded insoles.

Retailing for $180, look for the NOCTA x Nike Hot Step Air Terra Black University Gold to release later on this year at NOCTA.com and possibly on Nike SNKRS. After having been previewed for months, a portion of the long-awaited Union x Nike Cortez collaboration will finally be releasing next week.

Union themselves has announced that both the Union x Nike Cortez in the Sesame and Off Noir colorways will be making their debut exclusively at Union LA. Sharing the same design features but in different color schemes, the Union x Nike Cortez dons a striped textile base that is then reinforced with suede overlays and Swooshes. Collab details include Union?s UN/LA tags housed on the lateral forefoot as well as Union’s signature Frontman logo on the heels. Elsewhere you will find co-branded cork insoles and a matching Crater Foam sole.

Looking to cop either pair? The Union x Nike Cortez in both the Sesame and Off Noir colorway will be releasing on June 21st at Union LA. A new colorway of the Nike Dunk Low Next Nature is set to release soon with this women’s pair that takes on the traditional two-tone look. Constructed using at least 20% recycled materials by weight, this women’s Nike Dunk Low takes on a full leather construction on the upper with white used on the base and a golden tan noted on the overlays, Swooshes, laces, inner liner, and tongue branding. A white rubber midsole, white embroidered Nike branding on the heels, and a tan Nike Grind rubber outsole wrap things up on this Nike Dunk Low that will be releasing in the coming weeks for $105.

Continuing the 40th anniversary celebration of the iconic Nike Air Force 1 is this new “82” colorway of the model. Starting off with a bright yellow leather construction all over the upper with suede detailing, this Nike Air Force 1 Low comes equipped with a recycled materials as noted by the Nike pinwheel logos on the insoles. The yellow upper is then contrasted by double Swooshes in black and white, and white/grey detailing on the laces, tongues, inner liner, and heel tabs. Washington, DC?s very own Crushed Skate Shop will be teaming up with Nike SB to drop a collaborative iteration of the Nike SB Dunk Low.

Our first look at the Crushed Skate Shop x Nike SB Dunk Low shows that it comes dressed in a White tumbled leather upper contrasted by the dusty Brown suede overlays. Elsewhere you will find Orange, marbleized-styled Swooshes as well as a matching outsole that’s equipped with Nike Grind speckling. Additional Orange hits land on the lining and tongue border, while Green takes care of the inside of the tongue. Dual branding on the tongue tags complete the look.

The Crushed Skate Shop x Nike SB Dunk Low has no release date, but current reports have them dropping later on this year.

New bold branding and an eye-catching design highlight this new colorway of the Nike Air Presto that will be releasing soon. This offering of the Nike Air Presto takes on a white mesh construction all throughout the upper which has also been hit with a black circular pattern to demand our attention. If that wasn’t bold enough, large red Nike branding hits the toes with more red detailing seen on the inner liner and the Swooshes on the medial midsole.
