The Nike Blazer Mid “Doernbecher” consists as one of seven silhouettes from the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2022 (XVII) Collection and it’s scheduled to debut next week. Overall, this pair was designed by 13-year-old Ayman Wamala who was born in Kenya and diagnosed with sickle cell anemia. This rendition of the model is essentially inspired by Ayman?s alter-ego, which is a mysterious, mind-reading character that is notably prominent on the tongue tag. With black covering its majority alongside purple accents, the sneaker also bears triangular shapes which represent protective armor, while subtle tiger stripes across the upper glow bright blue when exposed to UV light.
