Detailed Look at The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sheed

Another Rasheed Wallace Nike Air Force 1 has surfaced. Back in 2018, Nike dropped the Nike Air Force 1 High Sheed Rude Awakening as part of their Champions Think 16 collection inspired by Rasheed Wallace delivering the Detroit Pistons their first title since 1990. This next special edition Rasheed Wallace Nike Air Force 1 is actually a collaboration with Off-White that appears to be inspired by the classic Air Force 1 High ?Sheed? PE from 2001.

Previewed below, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sheed comes dressed in Black patent leather upper decorated with Rasheed Wallace?s classic fadeaway jumper silhouette logo embroidered on the lateral heel. You’ll also fins the name ?RASHEED? typed out alongside the signature ?Off-White? text on the medial side. A feature that is a nod to the Air Force 1 ?Sheed? PE is his jersey number ?30? spotted on the ankle strap. White hits take care of the Swooshes and midsole while a Black spiked rubber outsole completes the design.

Nike has officially announced that the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sheed is set to release on September 8th for the retail price of $205 on SNKRS. For a complete guide including official photos, release dates, pricing and where to buy, visit: Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sheed.

UPDATE (8/5): Nike has officially announced that the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sheed is set to release on September 8th for the retail price of $205. This is what Nike had to say about this special release:

“Virgil Abloh?s legacy continues with the Air Force 1 Mid x Off-White? “Sheed.” The all-black patent leather upper and fade-away logo pay homage to early-aughts basketball and one of the most influential players of the time: Rasheed Wallace. Sheed’s dedication to the AF1 over the course of his career helped reinvigorate the icon for a new generation, and his name and number appear throughout the design.
Pushing the legendary look through the futurist lens of Off-White?, the design taps into nostalgia to celebrate a figure who pushed the game and culture of basketball to new levels. Virgil Abloh’s boundary-pushing ethos delivers a modernized and referential meditation on one of history’s most revered sneakers.”

UPDATE (7/20): Here are official images of the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sheed. Current reports have these dropping sometime during the month of August  for the retail price of $205.
