You ever come across a pair of sneakers that are too FIRE to wear? That’s how we feel about the recently unveiled Nike Air Force 1 Low CNY of the Dragon.

The latest addition to Nike’s Chinese New Year celebrates the ?Year of the Dragon? and Valentine?s Day, which happen to coincide in 2024. This special iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 Low is given a premium look and feel, and does so by not cutting any corners. To start off, the sneaker’s upper features an elegant Gold silk base that is covered with refined floral patterns that also takes care of the Swoosh logos on the side panels. A closer look unveils a dragon on the left sneaker, while the right features a phoenix, which symbolizes harmony. The same grceful silk pattern extends to the midsole, thus making the sneakers even more unique in design. Custom branding on the tongue tags and lower portion of the heel are also in play. The special edition features the ???? (Xixi) emblem, symbolizing ?Double Happiness,? to honor this dual celebration. The upper also appears to have some added Gold hardware on the lace dubraes as well as on the toe box region. Leather lining, White laces with Gold tips and a Tan outsole complete the look.

Current reports have the Nike Air Force 1 Low CNY of the Dragon releasing exclusively on SNKRS in China for the retail price of 2599 RMB, which is approximately $365. It has yet to be confirmed if these will release stateside, but we really hope they do, cause these are a piece of art. Stay tuned.

With Ja Morant currently facing a 25 game suspension for conduct detrimental to the league, it is very unlikely that he’ll be an All-Star this season due to lack of games played. Despite this, Nike has created a special “All-Star” colorway of his signature Nike Ja 1 which is showcased below. Highlighted by its multicolor appearance, this Nike Ja 1 features a color makeup of Black, Wolf Grey, Racer Blue, Bright Crimson, Bright Mandarin, and Volt as the sneaker will definitely be turning some heads. UPDATE (1/29): Nike officially announces the Nike Ja 1 “Check” which would have been his All-Star sneaker had he not been injured. A release will be taking place via SNKRS and select retailers on February 2nd for $140.

The Nike Lunar Roam made its debut late 2023. This women’s Dunk Low takes on the classic profile with a new responsibly sourced design as it arrives in a White and Bicoastal color scheme. This new colorway of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro will come dressed in a two-tone White and Court Purple color scheme. The sneaker starts off with a White engineered mesh upper that is then paired with Court Purple accents. These accents take care of the Swoosh logos, laces, Kobe?s signature on the White TPU heel counter and most notably on Kobe?s jersey numbers, ?8? and ?24,? found throughout the upper. The Nike SB City of Love Pack celebrates Valentine?s Day 2024. This pack draws inspiration from the mystical ?Red Thread of Fate.? There is a story that says that those connected by this thread will share a significant story, regardless of time, place, or circumstances.

This premium iteration of the Nike SB Dunk Low comes dressed in a Burgundy Crush, Dark Team Red, Earth, Dark Pony, and University Red color scheme. The fairly tonal design of the sneaker is highlighted by the use of premium materials including but not limited to suede, cracked leather and tumbled leather. A closer look also shows that the sneaker comes with suede insoles housing a graphic depicting two hands connected by a red string tied around their pinky fingers. This symbolizes an invisible bond to someone destined to cross our path. The sneaker will also come with Brown laces as well as a spare set of Red laces.

How many of you remember Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 4 Year of the Dragon? This clean colorway of Durant’s signature model dropped back in 2012 to celebrate the Chinese zodiac sign, the Year of the Dragon. For 2024, a Nike KD 4 Year of the Dragon 2.0 release will be releasing to the public.

The Nike KD 4 Year of the Dragon 2.0 comes dressed in a Khaki, Noble Red, Sesame, Cacao Wow, and Gum Yellow color scheme. The sneaker features a Khaki and Sesame upper with added TPU reinforcement on the ripstop base layer. The KD 4’s signature straps are given a woodgrain-like pattern as well as a Noble Red Swoosh. Additionally, you’ll also find an embroidered Swoosh on the medial ankle that is cleverly combined with a dragon motif that pays homage to the Year of the Dragon.
