Another Look At The Nike Kyrie 2 Easter

Nike Kyrie 2 Easter 1 Nike Kyrie 2 Easter 2 Nike Kyrie 2 Easter 3 Nike Kyrie 2 Easter 4 Nike Kyrie 2 Easter 5

All of Nike’s basketball signature athletes are going to get their very own Easter-themed sneaker as a part of the Nike Easter pack. The pair that closely resembles the Easter spirit is no doubt the Nike Kyrie 2 Easter.

The shoe starts off with a white upper, but the shoe really gets its Easter theme thanks to the makeup on the ankle region. A colorful egg dye/graphic is placed on the ankle/heel region which is composed out of an a array of pastel colors to perfectly represent the Easter theme of the shoe. Colors such as Hyper Jade, Urban Lilac and Bright Mango make this possible. In addition, more of the same pastel hues can be spotted on the outsole, Swoosh branding on the white midsole and midfoot strap and the Kyrie branding on the tongue. Set to drop on March 25th, is the the best colorway from the Nike Easter pack?

Author?s Take

No doubt this is the best Easter-themed colorway on the Easter pack. Not to say I like it, but it manages to capture the theme the best out of all the options.

A Good Look At The Nike KD 8 Easter

Nike is set to release Easter-themed sneakers next week to celebrate the holiday. All of their NBA signature athletes are set to come out with special colorways of their signature shoe dressed in an Easter theme (sort of). Today we get a good look at the Nike KD 8.

The shoe comes dressed in a Wolf Grey/Metallic Silver upper paired up with a white midsole and gum bottom outsole. Additional white can be seen on the laces, tongue and lining. Branding is spotted on the side panels, outsole and tongue. Thoughts on the shoe? Sound off in the comments below.

Author?s Take

I really don’t see the Easter theme on the shoe but sometime Nike’s holiday packs are unified in its focus but not in its colors. It’s an okay colorway, I just don’t see the Easter theme on it.

Nike Brought Back The Air Max 2009

Here’s something you probably weren’t expecting: a retro release of the Nike Air Max 2009. Just a few years removed from its original release, and not really a model anybody is asking for, the retro of 2009’s Air Max model is a bit of a head scratcher, but we won’t complain. The shoe is somewhat important to the Air Max lineage, as it was the first to debut the heel-to-toe Air Max tooling that was also used for the next three Air Max models after it. Is this an all-time classic Air Max model that you’re ready to grab another pair of? Or would it be better left in the archives for a few more years? Take a look at the retro here in a White/Black-Stealth colorway to decide what you think. If you’re ready to grab a pair, find them now at select Nike Sportswear suppliers like Rock City Kicks.

NIKE FREE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY 1 NIKE FREE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY 2 NIKE FREE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY 3 NIKE FREE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY 4 NIKE FREE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY 5

The Nike Free Mercurial Superfly is going for that godly look that we all know and love to wear during the Spring time. If the shoe wasn’t unique looking enough as is, dressing it in all-white (with a little bit of red) will definitely help it stand out even more.

The shoe comes in a white Flyknit upper that ends up being paired up with the white sock collar that gives the shoe its distinctive look. Adding a premium feel to the shoe is the leather hits placed on the heel region. A debossed Nike Swoosh is placed on the leather heel portion, while a large Nike Swoosh is found on the toe of the shoe. A white speckled Nike Free sole completes the monochromatic look of the shoe. Adding minimal color to the is the red placed on the heel pull tab. Said to be releasing sometime in April, let us know what you think.

Author?s Take

It’s a clean look. If you’re a fan of the model, I can see this one being a fan favorite. With Spring/Summer on the way, this will be a good look.

The Nike KD 8 Elite doesn’t officially hit retailers until April 14th, but Connecticut has already received their very own PE colorway of Kevin Durant’s 8th signature silhouette.

This pair wasn’t designed for the men’s basketball team though, Nike decided to show some love to the women’s team. Looking at this KD 8 Elite you can see that the majority of the upper is done in white with navy blue detailing landing on the Swoosh and KD branding, and the midsole. Adding that special PE touch is the Husky dog logo on the heel and UCONN written on the translucent outsole.

Look for the Connecticut Women’s Basketball team to wear these KD 8 Elite PEs during the NCAA tournament and give us your thoughts on this colorway down below.

The latest pair to begin arriving at retailers is this new multicolor option that you see above which takes on the mid-top construction. This pair is very similar to the NikeLab multicolor color option that released earlier this week with a few minor tweaks. This Ultra Flyknit takes on a full multicolor Flyknit upper with black accents on the Swoosh, tongue, inner liner, laces, eyestay, laces and parts of the outsole. Capping things off and adding some color contrast is a white sole unit.

Anyone interested in a pair can find these at select Nike retailers now for $175.

Author’s Take

I thought that the white multicolor pair was nice but this one is even better. The combination of black with the multicolor Flyknit is a very good luck.

Author’s Take

Out of all the colorways that have returned in 2016 this one is my favorite so far. I’m still waiting on Nike to release the OG black and grey pair though. I wanted a pair of those so bad back when I was in high school

The Nike Free Mercurial Superfly Almost Goes Triple White

Very few shoes make a debut like the Free Mercurial Superfly did back in 2014. You might remember Mark Parker lacing these up two years ago, and since them a slew of sick GR releases as well as limited HTM fare have made this Sportswear shoe one of the brand’s most popular ever since. There’s no stopping the flow of new colorways because this upcoming white/red pair is dropping in stores soon. Expect this upcoming colorway of the Nike Free Mercurial Superfly to hit stores beginning in April.

Author’s Take

So all it takes is a yellow and black Foamposite to make it a Wu-Tang colorway? Am I missing something here or do these look just like the Electrolimes?

Channel Your Warrior Spirit With The Nike Kobe 11 Bruce Lee

Nike Kobe 11 5 Nike Kobe 11 4 Nike Kobe 11 3 Nike Kobe 11 2 Nike Kobe 11 1

Nike is giving us a double dose of Kobe 11s this week as we’ll be seeing the Bruce Lee colorway arrive at retailers tomorrow. Earlier in the week we saw the release of the white/multicolor pair that had many people hesitant due to the $220 price tag.

This upcoming colorway of the Kobe 11 is covered in University Gold throughout most of the Flyknit upper with Black hitting the back half of the shoe, the tongue and Swoosh branding. Nike describes this colorway of the Kobe 11 as paying “tribute to Kobe’s heroic mind and body in the heat of battle and beyond.” Kobe has been through countless trials and tribulations in his career including injury-filled seasons his last few years in the league, but he continues to always battle and overcome.

You’ll be able to purchase the Nike Kobe 11 Bruce Lee at select Nike retailers and nike.com on March 19th for $200.

Author’s Take

Easily my favorite colorway of the Kobe 11 so far along with the debut Achilles Heel version. I hope I?m able to pick these up for a few dollars below retail down the line.

Take A Look At The 2016 USA Nike Vapor Basketball Uniforms

Fresh off the Nike Innovation Summit, the Swoosh has just officially unveiled the new United States Nike Vapor basketball uniforms that feature their new AeroSwift technology.

The new uniforms, which will be worn during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and are modeled by Kevin Durant and Elena Delle Donne, feature font that takes inspiration from classic American typography. The Home kit features a spectrum of blues that range from obsidian to deep royal blue. Gestural lines can also be seen running down the sides of the jersey and around the front of the shorts. Another pretty cool feature is the iridescent fabric that covers the country name, numbering and the Swoosh. Up above we see the away uniforms which are white and feature the same technology and details as the home uniform.

HTM is getting into the mix this year in the month of March which is unofficially Air Max month. Hiroshi Fujiwara has created a new silhouette that reflects his contribution to the longstanding partnership. Here is our first look at the Nike Air Max LD-Zero H.

Fujiwara explained that when he was creating the shoe he wanted to create “something that would resonate with people who are interested in classic styles.” The design of the Nike Air Max LD-Zero H blends the upper of the classic Nike Boston with sole unit of the Air Max 2014. As far as materials go, the shoe has been crafted with nylon, leather and suede in a blue color palette with white accents for that lifestyle appeal.

You can purchase your pair on March 19th at nike.com/airmax and on Air Max Day at select retailers for $210.

Author’s Take

This new silhouette reminds me of the Roshe LD-1000 but with the sole unit of the newer Air Max models. It’s a decent looking show but I don’t know if people will be willing to pay $210 for it.
