Supreme is wasting no time in 2016 as far as collaborations go and it seems that we’ve gotten our first look at their next project with Nike.
After collaborating with Jordan Brand last year and releasing three different colorways of the Air Jordan 5, in 2016 they will be linking up with familiar partner Nike on a silhouette that we don’t see very often, the Nike Air Max 98. There is rumors that there will be a total of four colorways set to release later this year possibly beginning in the Spring. Two have already surfaced, one is done in grey and the other in black while both feature snakeskin detailing on the toe, mudguard and ankle.
Andres Carrillo, News: I’m not a fan of either Supreme or the Air Max 98 silhouette so this collaboration doesn’t capture my attention at all. This will be an easy pass for me.
The iconic Nike Cortez receives another standout finish this season in a simple colorway of white with golden details.
Listed as a women’s iteration, this particular pair is comprised of premium leather across the majority of its upper. The pristine tone is essentially doused across the component, which flows towards the inner lining, laces, tongue and full-length rubber sole unit.
To offset its heavenly colorway, pops of gold are applied on the signature Swooshes, as well as more branding located on the tongue and heel tab. You can find this quickstrike pair at select Nike accounts overseas now.
The Nike Air Max 90 Essential is presented in a new Phantom finish for this season, following a recent Infrared-inspired colorway.
Draped in a muted palette overall, light beige covers the majority of the runner’s composition, which is comprised of breathable mesh and tonal suede overlays adorning the toe cap, mudguard and side panels. To further complement the colorway, cream-colored accents adorn the laces, Swoosh branding and visible bubble unit on its heel.
All adhered atop a clean white midsole unit and classic gum outsole, more white accents are implemented on the inner lining and leather Swoosh to round out the theme perfectly. You can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers overseas now.
The Nike Air Max BW Ultra is a sneaker that gets overlooked a lot by many people because there’s so many Air Max silhouettes out there that more often than not a few of them are bound to get lost in the shuffle.
Perhaps releasing a bold colorway like this University Red option that you see above will get people to notice. The classic silhouette has been upgraded with modern materials and bold colors that include University Red and Bright Crimson for a look that cannot be ignored.

The Air Max BW Ultra is one of those silhouettes that just doesn’t catch my attention. I prefer other classic Air Max silhouettes like the AM 90 and the AM 1 over this.
The Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Essential Is Looking Right For The Spring

Check out this new colorway placed on the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Essential. Said to have a little ACG inspiration behind it, the shoe dons a similar color scheme we’re used to seeing on the All Conditions Gear models.
The shoe starts off with a black mesh upper accompanied by the Hyperfuse overlay placed on the mudguard and toecap of the shoe. Adding the ACG vibes to the shoe are the Emerald Green hits placed on the “Air Max” branding, and the Metallic Gold hits found on the lining and parts of the outsole. Racer Blue accents are seen on the eyelets, speckling on the black midsole as well as on the heel of the shoe. Like what you see? Let us know in the comments below.
I like the shoe’s color makeup. It has some color on it, but it’s not overwhelming at all. t works very well with the black upper. The fact that it’s a Ultra Essential assures me that that it’s also going to be more comfortable than the original version of the AM 90.
The Nike SB Hyperfeel Koston 3 is unlike any Koston SB model we have seen in the past. As hybrid as it gets, this new SB sneaker appears to be inspired by certain Kobe sneakers, a set of football boots while throwing in some running sneaker aesthetics as well.
The upper appears to come in a Hyperfuse construction paired up with the textile heel collar. The unique looking upper is than paired up with a Nike Free-inspired sole to ass some flexibility to the shoe. Two colorways have already been unveiled, the first pair comes in a blue and yellow aesthetic, while the second pair comes in a more subtle white and grey offering. Not sure how people who actually skateboard are going to receive the shoe, but I guess you just have a open mind and realize things, looks and trends are always changing. Personally, I think the looks of the shoe is just okay, what’s more important is finding out how it’s going to perform on the board.

OG Vibes Appear On The Nike Air Huarache Run Ultra

If you’re a devoted fan of the Nike Air Huarache Run, you know that nothing screams “OG” more than the Scream Green colorway. Looking to add some vintage aesthetics of its own, the modern looking Nike Air Huarache Run Ultra borrows the OG colorway from its predecessor for its latest look.
The Huarache Run Ultra comes constructed out of a textile and mesh upper done up in a Pure Platinum and Black colorway. The Scream Green them contrasts the appearance on the upper as it’s placed on the heel and heel counted of the shoe. Additional color can be seen on the branding of the tongue, while big “NIKE” lettering can be seen on the heel counter of the shoe. I like the OG colorway being used on the shoe, I just wish there was more of it being used on the upper. Perhaps on the underlays or something along those lines, I thing it would have helped the shoe by giving it some more pop.

The Nike Air Classic BW Premium keeps things at a premium aesthetic by coming dressed in a luxe leather all-black upper. Having already gone over the shoe, today we take another look at them.
The official colorway of the shoe is read as Black/Bright Crimson-Wolf Grey. The upper is dressed in all-black as both nubuck and leather take care of the contruction. Breaking up the tonal look of the base is the white placed on the midsole and the Bright Crimson found on the Air Max unit and outsole. Never really pair any mind to the Nike Air Classic BW, but this Premium version of the shoe definitely caught my eye. I would have liked the shoe a whole lot more if the Crimson hits were removed.
The Nike Air Max 90 Essential Draws Cues From ACG Color Palettes

Nike’s All Conditions Gear saw a recent revamp that twisted around the off-trail aesthetic for a more modern, city appropriate feel. Of course, classic retros like the Nike ACG Mowabb returned to store shelves, but with a $200 price point, the bring back didn’t necessarily leave everyone involved satisfied. That doesn’t change the fact that ACG’s unique color pairings remain as influential as ever, as this Nike Air Max 90 Essential returns with a look straight from the early 90s hiking lookbook. Nike Will Bring Back All Of Kobes Signature Shoes With The Fade to Black Collection

Kobe’s final season is slowly but surely coming to an end as the regular season will be ending in mid-April. That means that Kobe has about seven weeks left in what has been a hell of a career for one of the greatest of all-time. So how can Nike make it better?
They’ll say farewell to Kobe by releasing his entire sneaker collection beginning with the Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 and ending with the newest Kobe 11. The Pack/Collection which is being named the “Fade To Black” collection will start of with all-white colorways and will evolve in color and ultimately conclude with an all-black Kobe 11. If you take a look at the two leaked style sheets above you can see the sneaker along with its official colorway listed next to it and it shows each sneaker getting darker with each successive model.
The Nike Kobe Fade To Black Pack is expected to begin releasing in early March with the final sneaker (Kobe 11) releasing on the final day of the NBA regular season when Kobe officially says goodbye for good.

Nike To Release Kobe Fade To Black Retro Collection

One way to celebrate Kobe’s farewell to the game? Release his past models in style. Sneakerheads received one of the most thorough and profound Retro campaigns in the Kobe Prelude Collection back in 2013/2014, but Nike is ready to up the ante with the “Fade To Black” Collection, which allegedly features the Kobe signature models from 1 through 11 as well as the Huarache 2k4, all with unique tonal colorways that begin from a solid white and eventually fade to black on the Kobe 11 Elite Low. The @KB824 Instagram account also confirms that each should will retail for $200, and that the Kobe FTB Pack will hit stores beginning in March (disclaimer: release dates could be for Asia). Barkley, Penny, and Payton Inspired The Design Of The Nike Zoom Kobe Icon

While Michael Jordan may have shaped Kobe Bryant’s game, the credit goes to Charles Barkley, Penny Hardaway, and Gary Payton for shaping the design of this retro-inspired Nike Zoom Kobe Icon. This strange Kobe-centric shoe recently hit stores and immediately sneakerheads pointed out the Glove-like upper shroud and that Gary Payton’s signature shoe history must have played a role in the Kobe Icon. Nike reveals that Charles Barkley and Penny Hardaway were key figures in this play as well; the inner bootie design is a nod to Sir Charles’ past designs, while Penny’s role takes place on the Chevron pattern on the Jacquard upper (not featured here, but part of other Zoom Kobe Icon releases).
