Nike Sportswear is always cooking up fresh ideas that reference the Swoosh’s history in new and exciting ways, but we were definitely surprised to see the cult-classic Nike Zoom Talaria running model referenced in the brand’s latest winter hybrid. The Nike Talaria Mid Flyknit takes the 1997 running silhouette and gives it a modern day boost thanks to amenities like Flyknit, weather resistant materials, and a new mid-top extension for a modernized fit.

Today we get a look at the Nike Talaria Flyknit Mid in the classic original Neon colorway featuring splashes of that Neon green throughout while the Zoom infused outsole keeps the original gradient for a head-turning look. New lace eyelets take on a boot-inspired aesthetic while classic ‘Talaria’ branding hits the contrasting white heel panels. Spikes on golf shoes have evolved through the years, from the loud clanking that was music to every golfer’s ears (/sarcasm) to rubber that softened the blow to just doing away with spikes altogether. We’ve already seen this evolution within Nike Golf with releases like the Nike Flyknit Chukka Golf, which I’ve worn far more times off the links than on it. With the recently unveiled Nike Flyknit Elite Golf and now the new Nike Lunar Control Vapor, the swoosh is stepping it up with their new Articulated Integrated Traction outsole which was inspired by snowmobiles of all things. Rory McIlroy debuted the new shoes a few weeks ago and chances we’re going to see this on the rest of the Nike Golf roster as the 2017 (yes, it’s already begun) PGA season rolls on.

The Nike Air Max Zero has been real busy this year as we’ve seen colorway after colorway release for both men and women.

Today we take a look at another pair that helps close out 2016 that has some oreo vibes to it. This versatile colorway of the Air Max Zero comes covered in a combination of Black, White and Wolf Grey atop the mesh and hyperfuse upper. The only thing missing from these to make them a real “oreo” colorway is the speckling on the midsole. Oh well I guess.

The Nike Kobe A.D. is not the only Kobe sneaker releasing during this post-Kobe retirement era. Also set to release in the near future is the Nike Kobe Mentality 3. Set to be the third version of the lower-tier Kobe model, the Nike Kobe Mentality 3 appears in 4 different colorways above. Our initial look at the model shows that the shoe comes with a jacquard knit textile upper sitting on top of a drop-in Lunar cushioning system. Just like the first two Nike Kobe Mentality models, I wouldn’t be surprised if these retail for about $100, which is pretty good considering the construction of the upper and cushioning on the sole.
