NikeLab has brought back the Nike Air Force 1 in a number of modified premium colorways in the past, and you can expect the Swoosh to do the same throughout 2017 when Bruce Kilgore’s iconic basketball silhouette celebrates its 35th Anniversary. Today we get a look at the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Purple Stardust” and Nike Air Force 1 Low “Citron”, each slated to arrive at select NikeLab locations come January 2017.
The NikeLab Air Force 1 Purple Stardust brings a uniquely vibrant shade of violet to the model in the form of a smooth, premium leather tooling while branding is faintly embossed on the tongue and ditched entirely on the heel. Instead, NikeLab updates the Air Force 1 with a hidden 3M reflective panel on the back that can only be seen when light flashes on the shoe while the outsole is updated with Lunarlon, Zoom Air, and natural motion technology. A smokey semi-translucent outsole displays vintage Nike Swoosh branding as well.
The NikeLab Air Force 1 Citron features a flashy shade of yellow throughout while an off-white Sail midsole adds a classic finish. What do you think of the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 duo for Spring 2017? Check out more detailed shots below and be on the lookout for this pair to arrive early next year.
