Yet another variation from OFF WHITE, this pair also features a “Metallic Swoosh” on the branding, but with bold contrast stitching, “AIR” labeled branding, and a deconstructed tongue. WWE Kicks: Roman Reigns Debuts His New Nike SFB 6 Canvas Boots, Enzo Amore Flies In Air Jordan 11s

Context matters whether it’s in pro wrestling or in the sneaker game. You can wear Yeezys all day but if you’re backing it up with a not-so-proper fit or a fit that’s trying too hard, then you’re just a person with Yeezys on and that’s common enough these days that it doesn’t matter anymore. By the same token, you can have a five-star quality match in the ring, but if you didn’t build it up with proper storytelling it will fall short because the crowd won’t be invested into what’s going on..

That’s not to accuse Enzo Amore of trying too hard with his velvet Air Jordan 11s because we know what his character is by now and he is as genuine as it gets, but the surprise of Roman Reigns rocking Nike SFB Canvas Boots for the first time in a heavily hyped match against Braun Strowman that had wrestling and sneaker Twitter buzzing for a second.

Reigns and Strowman brought the fire to their match and Roman rocking the boot actually added to the big time feel of the encounter, like a NBA star breaking out a special pair of kicks during a national TV or holiday game. The boot even works well with Roman’s character as he continues to hold on to the memory of The Shield by retaining their old swat gear, but the tweak of the white midsole was enough of a eye-catcher because everybody is used to him just going all-black all day.
