Under Armour just dropped three new colorways of their Under Armour HOVR Phantom inspired by the era of heritage sports. Celebrating going back to school season, Under Armour puts a modern spin on the timeless color blocking of vintage varsity apparel.

?The clean upper is unexpectedly cut with a high-contrast color band in the midsole,? described Justin Howe, Vice President and Creative Director of Under Armour Footwear. ?This inspiration comes from the era of heritage sport, where something as simple as the varsity jacket is representative of pride and tradition.?

The new colorways include Static Blue/Peach Horizon, White/Red, and Static Blue/White. UA?s HOVR technology consists of an UA HOVR midsole made of a proprietary foam compound, made in partnership with the innovators at Dow Chemical, possessing a super-soft durometer with incredible cushioning and shock absorption for every single foot strike. A key component of the UA HOVR cushioning system is the ?Energy Web,? which is a mesh fabric that wraps the cushioning core to deliver strong responsiveness and energy return.

All three pairs are now available at UA.com, and select retailers for $140 and non-connected versions retail for $130.
