adidas continues to create and innovate in the running department with their latest addition that has been unveiled today, the AlphaEDGE 4D LTD. This running shoe blurs the line between performance and streetwear created using athlete data driven design.

The adidas AlphaEDGE 4D LTD is the product of adidas? partnership with CARBON, an authoritative force in both design and technology.  Together with CARBON?and the firm?s Digital Light Synthesis technology?adidas uniquely crafts the midsole of each 4D shoe, harnessing light and oxygen to pioneering results.  Using this breakthrough technique, adidas is able to create midsoles that are specifically tuned to provide superior, controlled energy return. In addition to the 4D printed midsole, the AlphaEDGE 4D LTD comes with a lightweight mesh upper.

Ensuring adidas fans and running enthusiasts have fair, safe access to this limited high-performance shoe, the AlphaEDGE 4D LTD (in core black, grey, aero and ash green) is first available for reservation for $300 using the adidas App with pick up on Feb. 17 at adidas? Santa Monica and Culver City stores.

Customers in the Los Angeles area will need to download the adidas App and sign up to participate in the drop between Feb. 12 and Feb. 15 at 12 p.m. PT.  Reservations for store pick up will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis once the reservations window opens later this week. Much like adidas Confirmed, the adidas App will provide push notifications alerting users when the reservations window has officially opened.

Limited pairs will also be available on adidas.com and in three retail locations across the Los Angeles area including Nice Kicks, Bait and Undefeated starting Feb. 17.
