Today, the hype behind Air Jordan 1s is at an untouched high. Yet, this shouldn't be a surprise at all. The Jordan 1 has been at the forefront of mainstream society since it dropped in 1984. The story goes that in Michael Jordan's freshman year he wore a couple of Jordan 1s that didn't fit to the NBA's uniform code and was quickly fined for each game he played wearing them.
