The latest in a long line of redesigns for the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski arrives this spring with the all-new slip-on. Or will you be sticking with Vans for all your slip-on sneaker needs?
We got our first look at the Nike LeBron 13 Easter last month and today we get a better look at the shoe to get a better idea of what the shoe will look like. Although the shoe is primarily an all-white sneaker, the colorful bold accents placed throughout the shoe definitely give it a Spring/Easter vibe.
The LeBron 13 starts off with a white upper that takes care of the majority of the shoe. Adding some sharp contrast to the base (and sole) of the shoe are the colorful pastel egg dye print located on the Nike Swoosh branding on the forefoot and side panels, lining and outsole of the shoe. Colors consisting of orange, green and blue give the shoe its Easter theme. An icy translucent outsole and a set of white laces complete the major features on the shoe. Scheduled to release on March 25th for $200, is this on your watch list?
Earlier this month we came across the shoe you see above with a rumored attached to it stating that it will be Kobe’s Easter-themed sneaker. We now know for a fact that the shoe will be the Easter colorway of the Nike Kobe 11.
The shoe’s upper will come dressed in a grey and orange gradient Flyknit. A smokey translucent midsole gives the shoe a streamlined appearance, while the additional grey seen on the tongue and laces balance out the look of the shoe. Branding can be found by way of the white Nike Swoosh on the side panels, the orange Kobe branding on the tongue, and the additional branding on the heel in which one of the shoe comes with skeleton skull, how that is connected to Easter remains in question. Set to drop March 25th, are you feeling this Nike Kobe 11 Easter?
The atmos x Ewing 33 Hi Collab Keeps Things Plain And Simple
Sometime collaborations do a lot, sometime collaborations do a little. Sometime a lot needs to be done for the collaboration to work, other times very little needs to be done to get your point across. Depending on how you view the atmos x Ewing 33 Hi collab, it could really go either way. The Ewing 33 Hi gets the luxury treatment as atmos does its thing on the classic model.
The shoe starts off with a premium micro-perforated white leather base that ends up being 95% of the shoe’s aesthetics. The only area that appears to have some color on it are the red and blue accents foind on the branding which results in a simple yet stylish appearance. The branding on the heel has a “00” and “ATMOS” in blue on the left shoe, while a “33” and “EWING” is seen on red on the right shoe. Patrick Ewing’s signature branding is placed on the side panels, as it also comes in the corresponding blue or red makeup. An off-white/aged looking midsole complete the major features on the shoe. Releasing April 2nd, let us know what you think.
The concept of the shoe looks a lot like the pair that Kendrick Lamar and Reebok worked on with the whole blue and red branding idea. If you’re a Ewing Athletics fan and are looking for something a bit on the subtle side, this is for you.
All of Nike’s basketball signature athletes are going to get their very own Easter-themed sneaker as a part of the Nike Easter pack. The pair that closely resembles the Easter spirit is no doubt the Nike Kyrie 2 Easter.
The shoe starts off with a white upper, but the shoe really gets its Easter theme thanks to the makeup on the ankle region. A colorful egg dye/graphic is placed on the ankle/heel region which is composed out of an a array of pastel colors to perfectly represent the Easter theme of the shoe. Colors such as Hyper Jade, Urban Lilac and Bright Mango make this possible. In addition, more of the same pastel hues can be spotted on the outsole, Swoosh branding on the white midsole and midfoot strap and the Kyrie branding on the tongue. Set to drop on March 25th, is the the best colorway from the Nike Easter pack?
Nike is set to release Easter-themed sneakers next week to celebrate the holiday. All of their NBA signature athletes are set to come out with special colorways of their signature shoe dressed in an Easter theme (sort of). Today we get a good look at the Nike KD 8.
The shoe comes dressed in a Wolf Grey/Metallic Silver upper paired up with a white midsole and gum bottom outsole. Additional white can be seen on the laces, tongue and lining. Branding is spotted on the side panels, outsole and tongue. Thoughts on the shoe? Sound off in the comments below.
The JD Sports x Vans 50th Anniversary Pack Is Out Now
Vans is currently celebrating their 50th anniversary, and expect them to continue the celebration all year-long. The latest way to celebrate is by coming together with JD Sports to release an exclusive collection of classic models in tonal offerings. Consisting to the Vans Old Skool and Vans Sk8-Hi, let’s take a closer look.
The Old Skool comes dressed either a blue or red upper constructed out of canvas and leather materials. A white side stripe breaks up the tonal look of the shoe, while the checkerboard lining adds another dimension to it. A pair of tonal laces and a white vulcanized sole unit with tonal piping completes the aesthetics of the shoe. Not pictured is the Vans Sk8-High which also shares the same features as the Old Skool just in high-top form. Available now exclusively as JD stores and on their online store, the Old Skool will sell for around $83 and the Sk8-Hi for close to $87. Cop or drop? Let us know in the comments below.

Here’s something you probably weren’t expecting: a retro release of the Nike Air Max 2009. Just a few years removed from its original release, and not really a model anybody is asking for, the retro of 2009’s Air Max model is a bit of a head scratcher, but we won’t complain. The shoe is somewhat important to the Air Max lineage, as it was the first to debut the heel-to-toe Air Max tooling that was also used for the next three Air Max models after it. Is this an all-time classic Air Max model that you’re ready to grab another pair of? Or would it be better left in the archives for a few more years? Take a look at the retro here in a White/Black-Stealth colorway to decide what you think. If you’re ready to grab a pair, find them now at select Nike Sportswear suppliers like Rock City Kicks.
The Garbstore x Reebok Classic Aztec Is Not Afraid To Show Its Insides
This is not something you see every day on a sneaker. Garbstore teams up with Reebok to create a one of a kind look on the Reebok Classic Aztec. Once again Garbstore opts to go with their signature inside-out design and utilize it on the Aztec model.
The Aztec comes with an upper that displays that interior of the shoe. That means that the raw interior construction of the shoe is on full display for everyone to see. The sneaker has been stripped to its core and everything that’s usually on the inside of the shoe is now fully visible. Notable features on the shoe include the white and grey base paired up with the contrast stitching coming in red, blue and yellow. A small label that reads the size of the shoe and the reverse Reebok lines are in turn featured alongside. Inside of the shoe you will find a soft leather lining which would usually be the construction of the upper on a normal pair of Aztecs. If you like this inside out look, the Garbstore x Reebok Classic Aztec is now available at select retailers for $115.
This adidas Ultra Boost Comes With An Interesting Look
For the most part, the adidas Ultra Boost is a sneaker that keeps things pretty tonal. Last year saw the shoe comes in an array of colors, but the majority of them keep it to one or two colors and most of the time they were similar hues.
This upcoming version of the shoe is something we’ve quite not seen before. As of right now there is not much information regarding this release but what we are able to see based off the images is that the shoe comes with S.E.P. branding on the tongues label as well as on the lace tips. The Primeknit upper comes in a tonal light grey colorway contrasted by the black Primeknit threading placed throughout. The heel counter and Boost midsole of the shoe come in white to clean things up a bit. Without a doubt the most interesting feature on the shoe lies in the inner sock lining, tongue tag and laces as they all come with a color-blocked design along with white “X” slashes placed all over. Thoughts on the adidas Ultra Boost look? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Very interesting to say that least. What really sucks about it though is that once you put the shoe on, most of the colorful accents on the sock lining will now be covered up. Can we just get multicolor Primeknit Ultra Boost already?
The Nike Free Mercurial Superfly Comes in All-White With A Little Bit Of Red
The Nike Free Mercurial Superfly is going for that godly look that we all know and love to wear during the Spring time. If the shoe wasn’t unique looking enough as is, dressing it in all-white (with a little bit of red) will definitely help it stand out even more.
The shoe comes in a white Flyknit upper that ends up being paired up with the white sock collar that gives the shoe its distinctive look. Adding a premium feel to the shoe is the leather hits placed on the heel region. A debossed Nike Swoosh is placed on the leather heel portion, while a large Nike Swoosh is found on the toe of the shoe. A white speckled Nike Free sole completes the monochromatic look of the shoe. Adding minimal color to the is the red placed on the heel pull tab. Said to be releasing sometime in April, let us know what you think.
VSCO’s Manifattura links up with Italian shoemaker Buttero to create a one-off series of hand-embroidered canvas sneakers for their second part of their Pieces series. This collaboration between the two is based on Buttero’s classic Tanino silhouette done up in ten different colorways. The shoe is meant to celebrate New York City. The shoe are constructed out of hand-embroidered canvas uppers paired up with leather accents strategically placed on the toe and heel of the shoe. Check out the images above taken in various iconic New York locations by Brooklyn-based photographer Tim Schutsky.
Jordan Brand‘s holiday release are still more than a “few” months away, but Marcus Jordan is letting us know that this year’s holiday releases are going to be amazing! He took to his twitter to let it be known that he got a sneak peak of the Jordan Brand and Nike sneakers releasing at the end of the year and he feels that it’s pure fire (judging by the choice of emojis he went with). He also made a statement saying that Jordan Brand is looking for revenge, what that means remains to be seen, but it appears like Jordan Brand is pulling out all the stops this holiday. We already know about the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam 20th Anniversary release, as well as the Air Jordan 3 True Blue OG, but what else could Jordan Brand plan on releasing? I guess only time will tell.
adidas enthusiasts who live in Los Angeles, consider this your heads up! The Three Stripes just tweeted out that they’re planning on going to Los Angeles next week. Once they get there they plan on hiding 75 pairs of the adidas NMDs. This weeks recent adidas NMD releases did really well, but unfortunately not everyone who wanted a pair was able to obtain one. I guess you can say this is our second chance at picking up a pair. We have no idea what part of Los Angeles or what day this event will take part in, but be sure to stay tuned to find out more info as soon as adidas lets us know. Were you lucky enough to pick up a pair? If so, what pair did you end up scooping up?
