Pharrell Williams & adidas Design New Shoes
As part of their Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Pharrell Williams has joined forces with the German sportswear label again to create an exclusive capsule of sneakers.
Dubbed “Pink Beach,” the range is inspired by the magic of island culture, blended with the artist’s signature artworks and performance aesthetic for a line of summer-ready looks. Comprised of an Elastic Slip On and Elastic Lace Up silhouette, each incorporate stretch patched-tape uppers and moulded nubuck heels.
Both models are offered in crisp white and a colorful variegated-stripe option with two sets of laces to each pair. Additionally, each pair features hyper-color liners with psychedelic anatomical drawings of the human foot.
Look for these models to arrive at select adidas accounts in the U.K. starting May 5th. Stay tuned in for a stateside release date.
The Nike Zoom Kobe Icon receives another colorway for the season, this time offered in a pristine all-white finish.
Defined by a mixture of elements from classic basketball silhouettes such as the glove-like jacquard upper from the Air Flight The Glove and the lacing system from the Air Max CB34, the sneaker is topped off with a complementing gum outsole unit that comes from the Kobe 11.
Other notable details include an overlay lacing system that provides lockdown support and a snug fit, an symmetrical zipper to create a streamlined look and micro-tread pattern for superior traction.

First Look At The Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred That Will Release On Labor Day Weeekend
In late 2015 we were hit with the news that the Air Jordan 1 High OG Banned was going to be making a return in 2016.
Today we get a look at what is believed to be a first leaked image of the Air Jordan 1 that features a red and black leather upper with a contrasting white midsole and a red outsole. As you can see the sneaker does come with the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue but from this lone image it’s pretty hard to tell if the “X” has been placed on the heel like it was on the 2011 Banned release. Whether this will be known as the Banned or Bred colorway is still unclear, but we’ll keep you updated here at Kicks On Fire.
This Air Jordan 1 is scheduled to release during Labor Day Weekend on September 3rd for $160. Make sure to bookmark our Air Jordan 1 High OG Banned launch page to stay updated with the latest images, release information and other important updates.
