To coincide with the release of the “Hot Lava” colorways of the Nike LeBron 16, Nike will also be releasing the exact sneaker that served as the inspiration, the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Hot Lava.

The Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 made its debut in 1990 and returns to its roots over two decades later in the original ?Hot Lava? colorway. Arriving in legendary form, the tennis silhouette was designed to meet the high demands of tournament play through superior durability, flexibility, cushioning and traction. The shoe features a white leather construction on the upper along with black overlays on the side panels and the ankle/heel. The eye-catching “Hot Lava” hue can be seen on the splatter graphic on the side panels, Swoosh branding, tongue tag, and a portion of the outsole.

Look for the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Hot Lava to release on May 24th for $130.
